that's cool idea.
using something like JSON format or other recognisable data format might be useful for more efficient parsing.

i recall some coins only like one OP_RETURN per block ?

edit.
although if you create your own consistent format you may be able to squeeze more data in Smiley (that of course does not preclude using a recognisable data format as well for your reduced info)
you could assume headers for example, so that information could be removed from input making it smaller

i.e. your example above, if you assume the headers/ordering you use
"P: 1; SYSTYPE: PVS; MR: 1200, MDIFF: 6.0; CC: 2.886; KGC: 2.8; TKGC 13842.3432"

becomes

"1; PVS; 1200; 6.0; 2.886; 2.8; 13842.3432"

cryptopia are offering discount on adding coins on cryptsy ..

"In light of the current climate over at Cryptsy and the influx in users looking for somewhere to go we are offering to list any coin currently listed on Cryptsy (Provided it meets our current standards) for 500,000 DOT each.

This offer is separate from the voting process, if you'd like to get a Cryptsy coin lised, please raise a support ticket."

500k DOT is a bit less than 0.1 BTC atm.

bootstrap to block 399079
unzip, rename file to bootstrap.dat

https://www.dropbox.com/s/aiq0kjra5xnn2vt/coyestrap399079.zip?dl=0

--
code doesnt have any option for using bootstrap.
so you need to start with option that chooses it as blockchain source.

-loadblock=<file>      "Imports blocks from external blk000?.dat file"

using windows, you can open command line,
then drag qt onto the screen, then add -loadblock= then drag boostrap file onto command line, dragging it onto the screen should create the complete file path for you.

eg after trying to use it as a bootstrap, my command line ended up
c:\coinyecoin-qt.exe -loadblock=c:\users\user\AppData\Roaming\CoinyeCoin\boostrap.dat

1298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Earth Dollar (New currency/coin launch) on: January 09, 2016, 06:41:39 AM
"- the number of users (so far there is a potential 6.5 million people in the legislated territories) that are obligated by law to accept the Earth Dollar as a currency for payment of products and services. There are penalties for non-compliance"

WTF How do you even come up with something of this magnitude?
You could perhaps spend a little more time coming up with some slightly more believable/acceptable BS

This at the moment is a poor attempt at entertainment....

We are part of the Indigenous Peoples United Nations (IPUN), which is a NGO at the UN. In the membership charter, when member nations join the IPUN, the Ofificial Currency is the Earth Dollar and they accept to use it.

Furthermore, we have agreements with local governments to implement a Universal Basic Income in their territories. Most of these countries where the Earth Dollar will be used are very poor. In fact 3/4 of the world lives in poverty, so the amount of people that are signed up is rather small.

During the launch of the Earth Dollar, all partners will be at the ceremony.

we are posting as an anonymous noob account with a generic and gratuitously silly user name..
but apart from that ...

Is it really a blockchain problem or rather a problem with Bittrex? Just curious, but how can a blockchain be broken?

sometimes the code is borken, and it becomes impossible for any blocks to be generated. for example when there is meant to be a reward change, but when the block of change happens, it discovers the new reward code to be broken.

other times, as in this case, their are two discrete chains happening and there is no reconciliation between them. <- i believe the code is meant to fix this, but my wondering is that perhaps once the fork becomes too large/distant it can't fix itself?
