i was having troubles connecting the mac qt.
i did try and import the previous copy i had as a bootstrap, but i still couldnt connect after that.

then i deleted the copy of the chain i had and started again from scratch, now i seem to have no troubles connecting

i've sent ebk1000 a new mac wallet,
he'll release soon.

i was having connection issues, with 1 connection but no blocks, it's connecting fine now so must have been an issue with protocol version ..

because this is a top two auction, both the top two bidders had funds deducted for the auction outcome, TouchMyCoin has limited it's profit margin to 10% so Biteme should not have paid the full 2nd bid amount.

to see how much Biteme paid,
first work out 110% value of 2083.33 Bumba = 2291.63
subtract winning bid, 2291.63 - 1624.93 = 666.733

so it seems that Ukmayhem got some cheap Cube, and Biteme paid 666.733 Bumba for coming second and got nothing





dont forget that if the top bid itself is over 110% of market price, then the second bidder has no funds deducted.
but in this case the house profit can be over 10% because it will take the whole bid.

in regard to how the bidding amount works for touchmycoin

if you click on the auction #, it will take you to the details, including  it's current value in the coin for bidding and also btc at the top right



the bidding increments is basically 1/25th of the total value.
in this instance, 1/25th of 38 Cube is 1.52
