We just need to be many mining, no need to destroy the wallet. There will be no forks, just mine in-wallet like I do instead of whining.
...
Be many mining, and the chain will move on, no need to touch the code.
at this difficulty you're going to be waiting a few years to get the next block with just wallets… let me know if you change your mind the fork is simply a different way of calculating difficulty, which will be more resilient to difficulty spikes such as the current one edit. using my generic i5 with wallet mining, i'm getting 3551776 hash/sec to work out how long for me to get a block 2^32*diff / hash 2^32*49152065.9191/3551776 = 59436888940.45420694442414 seconds or 687926.95532933109889 days then if the odds are amazing and i get a block, someone comes along with a real miner .. and it's all borked again

i've sent mr dev a message about potential fork to fix current diff issues. we'll see what he says i was wondering if the high diff was because of high mining or something else. it's a walletbuilder coin, so likely just mining .. i'm testing atm with resetting diff, (purely out of my own interest), and adding DGW3, have mined a couple of blocks with a VPS that was turned off after the first extra block if we go ahead "officially" these new blocks will go in the trash and the fork will be set in the future. we'll just see if the dev is really going AWOL for extended period of whether he'll reply soon. would be good to get his seal of approval probably useful to note, cryptopia are going through migration to new servers, so probably useful to wait for them to finish before getting them to update.

U have gave out only dribs so far. U were talking about sending out 300 btc or so, have u changed ur stance or something? Ahh let me guess, u were lying to people to win their love, that kind of tantrum behavior is not welcomed and can precipitate the process of pressing changes against u.
lol check out the post history, whoever this is seems to be having a lot of fun ...

Yesterday I joined the SFC slacked and the developer and bumbacoin discussed the issue, they are very nice in catering thes issue. so I am very thankful for the assistance. Until now I am hoping to retrieved my coins back. I sent ticket and the developer also . So far it is being investigated by the cryptopia sides. I understand this is weekend so , maybe they are on their family spending time. Happy weekend everyone.
Regards bitdragon2016
these seem the obvious points . 1. cryptopia records suggest transaction was completed around the time of the fork, 2. old client shows record of tx, so the tx did make it onto the network, 3. SFC forked big time, 4. the tx no longer exists on the network. seems very likely that the transaction was reversed by the fork. so cryptopia are now looking at their end and everything should be fine

hmmz. looking at the explorer that address does not appear to be on the chain. check it out, and if they're not there, means those coins do not exist. http://blockexp.com:8075/when the chain was hijacked, it seems likely that some blocks might have been lost and no longer exist, but on the positive side looks like your 40k came from somewhere, means they were never sent so where ever they came from, they could still be there ... Yeah it seems so, but all those coins are bought from CRYPTOPIA and I transfered it to my qt wallet, I will sent the withdrawal history from cryptopia to the developer if in case the dev really cant help if they don't exist on the chain, cryptopia will need to have a look at their end.

Correct, that is definitely my wallet address that showing those unconfirm balance. and this is my first time moving my wallet.dat file to the current qt wallet. and what do you mean by this phrase"it's the simplest answer that you're trying to dump the key from a wallet that doesnt have that address :p"? FYI. before it has been confirmed in the old wallet of SFC but when I transfered it in the new it became unconfirmed. I dont know what is the problem.
i just meant, that the simplest explanation is the wallet doesn't hold the address. always good to check the basics, it's a bit like turning it off then on again.. have a look at my prior post and try sending the coins from the old wallet ..

I hope the developer will tend to this issue because I really love this coin and I dont want to lose it. I tried your solution but it has no avail. and one more thing, I dont know why SFC qt wallet doesn't have a check balance and repair wallet command? Regards, bitdragon2016 just to make sure, is this wallet showing the unconfirmed balance? if you've been moving wallets around, it's the simplest answer that you're trying to dump the key from a wallet that doesnt have that address :p …………. another fun thing to try … is to send the coins from that address to somewhere else method 1) send coins from your old pre-fork client, will only work if it's connected to the network (but obviously not synced), if succesful, it will still send a valid tx to the network which will work. method 2) alternatively, you can create a tx on the old client, and send it from the new. the old client does not need to be connected to the network at all for this. create a transaction that send the coins from the pre-forked client, get the txid, console getrawtransaction txidfromabove copy all that, start new client, console sendrawtransaction alltheblatherthatisarawtransaction , sending the coins might work because the transaction really has nothing to do with your wallet per se, but instead it's success depends on the network agreeing with the contents ie whether the transaction is valid or not. so as long as the transaction is valid, everything will work. a cold wallet has no need to touch the network, but can be used to create transactions, which are then sent from an online client. it can create transaction because it holds the correct information (prior transactions and private keys) to formulate valid transactions so, your old client holds all the correct information to create a valid transaction

Try performing a -rescan when starting the client or -salvagewallet to see if that fixes your unconfirmed balances.
try the -rescan, but -salvagewallet is not in the code. or delete the blockchain and resync, making sure you keep your wallet.dat safeactually i just remembered this might not work as there is some tx details in the wallet.dat which might not be effected the other thing would be to export yr private keys, and reimport into a new wallet.

When the ICO ends we will weigh our options but we have been steadily building as we have been going along. If a lot of PIE are not sold and burned then that means the actual supply of PIE will be very low. A low supply will create a very high demand based on our long-term goals.
The PIE community is very supportive so we will make it work.
We will be making updates to reflect our progress.
what are your thoughts on the ICO funds being staked ? although they havent in a few days, it looks like whoever was staking gained an extra > 1 million coins. http://piecoin.thecryptochat.net/address/PBuRbnexWbe7pVtZnKcofR1EmmUJa2BxRA
