Last chance, if not sold in the next week I'm just going to send it back and take a hit on the restock fee.

I'm willing to go down to $1100 excluding shipping costs.

I wonder what happened to all Butterflies.

Someone may have purchased those in bulk in Iceland or Washington state.

The BFLs were traded in for discounted ASICs. BFL probably took them, reballed the chips and sold them off.

I know there are still people around who have 100s of ztex, x6500, and icarus boards. I was trying to reach out to these people to see if they'd like to monetize their old boards.

724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Does anyone have large qty of fpga collecting dust? on: April 12, 2017, 04:29:51 PM

I managed a team who developed a X11 RTL firmware. While the X11 itself is too large to be usable in most commodity FPGA; some of the newer coins which are picking up steam are using algos contained within X11. Others are using variations which only require slight modifications to get running. We're looking at the possibility of leasing bitstreams to those who may be interested in monetizing hardware that is collecting dust.

Anything from a spartan 6 LX150 and up can be monetized.

Price reduced to $1150 + free ground shipping within US to continental 48. I will not go any lower than this or accept any offers lower than this. I can get $1050 shipping the unit back to lenovo. Please don't waste my time with low ball offers that I will refuse. This price is $500 less than the going rate on the lenovo website. Again, this unit is completely unopened still in original packaging and covered by the standard lenovo warranty.

Kind of interested.
But the graphical card is a bit peculiar to me.
Those are used for cad and 3d modelling right?
Workstation systems have these type of gpus in them.
So it wouldn't be suggested to be used for anything else?
If I wanted to use it to play world of warcraft's newest update I wouldn't be able to get it past low settings I would imagine.
I only ask this type of question because as said you have another one which you are using currently.
So what do you use this for? Just for work purposes and not for anything else?

I play dota2, csgo, civ, etc, without any problems. I don't play any MMOs these days but I'm sure it'll handle running WoW. I did have to decrease my res from 1920x1080 and lower settings to play csgo without momentary stutters with smoke, etc (csgo has been having perf issues for quite some time though). You can check the comparison for the card online. It's not exactly the most powerful card ever, but it works well. I bought 2 of these in my order and I ended up with 4 units in total. I use the unit for work (coding) and gaming -- I have the laptop plugged in to a monitor, kb/mouse on my desk.. The unit I gave to an employee is used for work and gaming (same games I play). The third unit was sold to a business associate and is just used for work.

http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=Quadro+M1000M

If you've never used a thinkpad before... They're beasts and put together very well. This is my third thinkpad in 6 years and I'm kind of annoyed by the video card (would have preferred a geforce series mobile). But really, if you need a laptop there's no other choice but a thinkpad. Any other laptop I've had ends up starting to fall apart before a year (mouse and KB gets quirky, etc). Never had any problems with any of the thinkpads I've owned. My 2 previous thinkpads are 100% functional. Wife uses one. Other is too slow for practical use these days. They even survive my kid Smiley (she likes to stand on top of laptops)

Edit:

I'll download WoW and see what kind of FPS i get. Need to get rid of this laptop before it becomes out of date. I already forgot about it once.
40FPS on maximum graphics settings at 1920x1080 under 'playable' (no hq textures installed yet). I'll wait for the game to finish and update again. The def recommended setting from WoW was '5'.

Fully installed and running around a noob zone. It seems there's a cap in place of 60fps for windowed full screen?
Windowed full screen --
1920x1080 @ '10' - 40fps
1920x1080 @ '8' w/ max distance - 55fps
1920x1080 @ '6' w/ max distance - 60fps
1920x1080 @ '4' w/ max distance - 60fps

Full screen --
1920x1080 @ '10' - 30 fps
1360x768 @ '10' - 68 fps
1360x768 @ '8' w/ max distance - 90fps

I'm not sure if the game would even be playable @ 1920x1080 because all the buttons and icons are too small. I can barely see any of them. If there's any particular setting configuration you'd wish me to test let me know. I'll leave the game installed for a day or 2 before deleting it.
727  Economy / Gambling / Re: THE BETSOFT SCAM AND HOW THEY HAVE BEEN RIPPING YOU OFF! on: March 30, 2017, 12:31:51 AM
I don't understand why there are no legit online casinos that don't commit obvious fraud. It really goes to show the state of society today. They're already running a business where all they need to do is market and bring in customers to make money. It's guaranteed they will profit. But it's not enough. They must cheat and steal on top of it.

The betsoft games were obvious fraud. Don't ever play anything from betsoft. The isoftbet games are a little better, but those games have shit pay out and just drain you slowly over time. Still a guaranteed loss, just not as flagrant as betsoft.

It's not even limited to online casinos. Even brick and mortar casinos commit obvious fraud. If you want a real chance at winning money from a casino take a queue from the ocean's series of movies.

Selling brand new Lenovo Thinkpad P50 laptop in original unopened packaging. I placed an order on black friday and they sent me a double order. They wanted a restock fee to accept the return so I decided to sell the extra unit instead. The laptop is located in the US and will include ground shipping inside the continental 48 states free of charge. I'm willing to ship outside the US if you pay the shipping costs and any necessary duties / taxes.

729  Economy / Gambling / Bitcasino.io locked my accounts? on: December 23, 2016, 06:29:59 AM
Has anyone been blocked or had a locked account here?

I enjoy gambling from time to time.. Not a lot, just playing around.. I loaded my account with 75mbtc and started playing. Went from 75 to 40 then 40 to 150 to 90. Then, boom, I can't play any more after hours of playing. The wheels just spin and spin. I can no longer place bets on any live game or any slot / video game. Literally NO GAME would work properly.

I talked to support for a good 10-15 minutes. They go through the usual responses, must be your browser, bla bla. I closed and restarted  browser 5 times, cleared cache, and even attempted to change my ip address. Nothing worked, everything was still the same.

Then, I go create a new account, load it with 75mbtc again and everything was working! I contacted support to tell them, hey everything is working on this second account. Then, after I get done with the conversation with them my new account was no longer working!!

They're saying they will check into it and get back to me. But I'm like 99.9% sure they blocked my account. Previously when I would withdrawal funds it would process very quickly. I've now had a withdrawal request in for about 30 minutes and nothing has processed yet.

So, How many people here have been blocked, had locked accounts or funds frozen at bitcasino.io ?

Thought I found a place that had better payouts or probability than the local casinos. The local casinos will just straight drain your funds and not even give you the illusion you're winning while they do it. I have a fair chance to break even or gain a little at bitcasino from what I saw during my time there. Pretty annoyed that I'll have to go back into these corrupt casinos and gamble there when the mood strikes me.

They unlocked my account or corrected whatever issue was going on.

Hey! I'm a miner in Venezuela and I would like to know if you have any miners still in stock and their price, and also is it possible to send them via DHL to Venezuela? If it costs more then I can pay the fee, its just that DHL is the only company that actually delivers consistently to Venezuela...

We're currently only looking to ship inside the US.
735  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 1mW Bitcoin/Scrypt Mine Liquidation! Everything must go! on: February 24, 2015, 01:57:09 PM
Make it 100$+ 45 shipping, and I'll buy one.

Use the "make offer" option

I wish the Zeus Thunders had less shipping cost. At this point, I can't buy em cause of the shipping!
Make it 15$ or less shipping, and you got a buyer.

Make an offer for 100 + 45$ shipping . That's as low as we can go.

Are the network switches still available?  I would take a few if they are.

Yes

Do you have just one of the Cougar GX 1050W PSUs you could sell?

They're packaged with the machines. The only ones we have that are not in a miner are dead PSUs.

739  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 1mW Bitcoin/Scrypt Mine Liquidation! Everything must go! on: February 10, 2015, 07:22:46 PM
Any chance you guys have some Raspberry Pi's you're looking to liquidate?

We have less than 12 rPIs and i'll probably keep those to fiddle with at home. We were using x86 devices (the gigabytes and intel unit) under a network (PXE) booted environment to run our mining software.

what mining software are you running?

It was bfgminer

740  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 1mW Bitcoin/Scrypt Mine Liquidation! Everything must go! on: February 10, 2015, 05:29:47 PM

Note that these are NOT up to code in the U.S. or Canada as they were used.  They must be mounted to a wall or other permanent fixed surface.*

* NEC definition, "cabinet" and UL listing approval for sub-panel designs.  408.38.  Also 408.3.A(1).

The racks are considered a permanent fixed surface when they're mounted to the floor. Do you know what's more fun than bolting 56 racks to a concrete floor? Unbolting 56 racks from a concrete floor. You should see the load center...

I argued with 2 different master electricians this wasn't a good way to do it. It passed inspection, as did that mess of SER cable.

Hmm, I stand corrected; it didn't seem that those racks were bolted to the floor.

I am quite surprised about those cables though... that isn't a cable tray, and doesn't even look CT rated.  How could that pass inspection running along the top of the racks like that?

The SER cable doesn't need to be in a tray or conduit. I think we took a little liberal interpretation of the rule, but it passed. If we had used anything other than SER cable we would have had to install a cable tray. As MCHouston said above. It's stuff you find typically in the ceiling and to feed sub panels, etc. You wouldn't normally just sit it ontop of a rack though.

It's definitely SER cable though, not BX.

Also, I'm not an electrician -- we had 2 masters (family friends) and a journeyman on our project.
