2201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pre-ICO bonuses on: September 28, 2017, 10:49:10 PM
I personally dont like bonus for ICOs, i feel like its a shady practice. And these usually come in ICOs with INSANELY high hard caps (or no hard caps at all in place).

For me the best ICOs do it like Kyber did - set up a maximum that a single person can buy (2-3eth is good, so you dont create whales right off the bat) and dont offer bonuses for earlier buyers.
Too much bonus for ICO will make the price of token get dumped, the whale dont care about future of token, they just dump it at the price of ICO because they have overwhelming amount of bonus, that's why many ico with too much presale bonus will have bad rate in the future.
I do agree, kyber is best, but I think the limitation can be bypassed right?
2202  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's clear now China have higher amount bitcoin on: September 28, 2017, 10:45:38 PM
Oh yes this is not something new in China.
Remember that last few weeks news about banning of exchange and bitcoin and it made smoke in the community, many got panicked and sold their bitcoin in loses while China took that opportunity to buy as much as they can and now they're holding huge amount of bitcoin and they'll soon create their own exchange.
What a strategy!
No doubt with that, China have a high numbers of people in their continent so they had a tendency that most of them are members in bitcoin society.
Obviously more of the Chinese persons are engage into a business, so there's a possibility that most of the potential coins and ICO's were from Chinese country.
In addition, remember the banning of ICOS in China it will largely affects the bitcoin community and the value of bitcoin in the market is fall down so high. It means that China have high reputation in the crypto currency industry.
I don't think so. Other country men know the fact that China has been making a bad societal view and more or less of their population is getting abused. So there is a tendency that it will affect their name for somes investors in bitcoin. Being trusted is too important ang geographically speaking, this is a way too far to be expected that their country has bigger amount of bitcoin. What about America? It is the biggest continent ever so I think it would be America over China to have higher amount of bitcoin.
talking of the fact before china release regulation about bitcoin and its usage, china indeed have major percentage of bitcoin holding, you can search it in google, i think there's many reliable source you can get there and also bitcoin which generated from mining, china contribute majority of hashpower.
2203  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is about to crush major resistance points (very bullish) on: September 28, 2017, 10:43:22 PM
A new ATH sounds good but is it really possible right now? There is still the hardfork coming this november and the FUD about bitcoin is not yet over. Even if we cross 4100, there is still a great possibility that the price will reverse after that.
After China's bluff was called, the road seems clear with no major bump in view but the November hard fork. Since it is still a while before November, I see the price of Bitcoin pushing pass the $5000 level before long and then recede to await what becomes of the hard fork.

why do you call it "bluff" Cheesy
it was some reality about banning ICOs and also closing exchanges then there was all the FUD about banning bitcoin and mining and all kinds of weird stuff about China and bitcoin.
and none of it matters at all. even if all the FUD were true, the price would have came back here just like it has now! these things can not affect the free market for long.

I also think it's still a bluff. Remember this: China will be back in full force when they make ICOs legal again under certain licenses, and also exchanges will be made legal again, too, if the exchange providers are following a license of the Chinese government's taste. These guys did not only buy the dip, but now that they bought a ton of cheap BTC, they will pump in again by unbanning both ICO and exchanges, sooner or later it will happen.
Holy shit, if that's true, bitcoin might hit new ATH very soon. all these chaos which created by china will soon turning to a big pump month.
by the way, why did china ban both exchanges and bitcoin and then unban it again?
2204  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC become a PUMP after 30/9???? on: September 28, 2017, 10:37:53 PM
The price has been raising uncontrollably since last week !!!
However , Chinese will public their decision of Cryptocurrency on 30/9
Do u think the price may keep raising or decrease ??
I think price will dump again after official announcement from chinese government which we might hear on october rather than by end of this month.

Despite the fact that chinese ban on ICO and trading platform have already had its effect on cryptocurrency, I am still expecting some flash crashes from chinese whales.
I think not, our bitcoin have evolved and already resistance to such regulation because china have lost their bitcoin, I think that their bitcoin users have cashed out all of the entire bitcoin they have to avoid the regulation, therefore china have no more bitcoin and not a bitcoin holder with major percent anymore
2205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Fork on: September 27, 2017, 11:06:30 PM
slack is now a big source of scam, they're easily manipulated by the hackers and have too many hole for the scammers to get in. never ever trust anything from slack, even the hacker can use the same username as the slack moderator.
by the way, MEW will automatically upgrade and doesn't require manual action. never ever click that link.
2206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs scam? on: September 27, 2017, 11:04:07 PM
I do not thing that ICOs are scam. So far i never heard that some one has been scammed. But it would be wise to do a bit of research before investing in anything. I think there are some really good ICOs out there, it is only up to you to find what you want and which is best for you. At the end, i guess the only question is will it succeed or not. Chose wisely.

Uncontrolled speculation is the basis of every ICO, they only offer projects that may not have been all-time-tested. The risks are huge but all can be overcome by escrow participation in their sales. This year many ico are responsible, if they do not touch the soft cap then the funds will be refunded back to investors. I never thought about the possibility of scam because I just think of it as a lottery.
There's still scams around, a project that doesn't intend to show the profile of their team often turning out to be a scam. better to avoid this one.
and also, check their whitepaper, If the whitepaper is not just pile of nonsense words, pretty sure that it's worth investment, otherwise, big no.
2207  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is about to crush major resistance points (very bullish) on: September 27, 2017, 02:59:57 PM
The technical analysis sustained by most professional traders on bitcoin right now is that it was key to stay above the $3400 latest bottom as the closest resistance we had, because below that it was descent into hell. We were able to stay above that and don't cross the 300 day moving average which would have been very bad, through the weekend, and now that the market started becoming active with the start of the week, we are seeing massive bull pressure to break the $4100 key point. So keep an eye on that number if we cross it, get ready for another re-test of an all time high possible as soon as this week, which with due traction, could lead us to $6000 pretty easily.

The key point to watch here is probably the $4000 level.

Once we break that the rest is pretty easy. We could easily achieve $6000 as you said by the end of the year despite the constant FUD and hard fork fears, if we can first establish $4000 as a floor for btc price.

We're seeing resistance right now at the $4k level, i think that once we see the resistance being broken, we'll see at least another $500 pump.
now we already break it, bitcoin could easily go as high as $4800 but I doubt it can get through $5000 barrier, maybe waiting for a moment first and then new highest price will be achieved.
the market is currently now very bullish, the current trend is buy. expecting a good outcome from this one in this month.
2208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long did you wait before do you sell your ICO Coins ? on: September 27, 2017, 02:53:59 PM
Just sell if you still got the profit. When i invest with big money, I always carefully thinking about the possibility which may come, I always think that if i could get the profit right now why waiting for thing that's uncertain, so I sell all of my invested ICO token.
but for small amount of investment, i just leave it , and check the market after few months.
2209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy ETH now? on: September 27, 2017, 02:47:58 PM
For my part, I think this is a good time to invest in ETH. Its value continues to increase and it tend to become equivalent to the Bitcoin.
I agree with you . Ethereum is becoming the second person who wants to dominate Bitcoin and they will surely achieve. In the future Ethereum will develop further as this market has many new partners and many ICO projects use this platform.
Ethereum is not a person, ethereum is a cryptocurrency so it can't be considered as a person.

For my part, I think this is a good time to invest in ETH. Its value continues to increase and it tend to become equivalent to the Bitcoin.
wait till ethereum switch to PoS, the price will go to the moon, many people will trying to grab eth to stake their address and earn eth out of it. at the beginning of the hf, the price will increase because demands is on its peak.
2210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$NEO will skyrocket to $1000$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ on: September 26, 2017, 11:22:50 PM
Imagine snap + telegram + whatsapp + skype+ facebook + instagram =  KAKAO now imagine if those 200 million users would be able to buy crypto on their phone

The country that controls 40-60% of the volume of DASH, BCC, ETH is Korea,  not China
Bithumb(largest korean exchange) only lists 7 coins,  latest added was Monero,  which increased 150%.

KAKAO partnered with Bittrex,  so those 110 coins will most likely be the ones already listed on Bittrex.  So Korea is finally going to have a chance to buy NEO.

https://news.bitcoin.com/koreas-largest-messenger-app-launching-exchange-with-110-cryptocurrencies/

Along with CoinNest will become the first Korean exchange to list $NEO, opening a NEO/KRW market.

https://twitter.com/NEOnewstoday/status/912229378972618752

Also the redpulse ICO launching next week

Now imagine the perfect storm of takeing the coin with the largest volume on Bittrex,  putting it infront of Korean FOMO

and the perfect storm of the state backed crypto of China

Trusted block chain summit NEO and China GOV

http://www.8btc.com/trusted-blockchain-0919

https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@cryptomarketking/the-future-of-crypto-in-china-and-its-relationship-with-neo

Along the way NEO being added to Poloniex(just like GAS was recently)

also a 161% rise in the price of GAS(the dividend that is free to NEO holders) this week,  with a lot of NEO holders not selling their shares because they want to continue to accumulate free GAS

and NEO being added to Japanese exchanges

Keep in mind Da Hongfei is the CEO of Onchain as well (Onchain is already in bed with the Chinese gov).  One of China's biggest corporate investors has bought a stake in a blockchain startup. Reuters reports that Fosun Group is investing in Shanghai Distributed Technologies Co Ltd, the company behind the Onchain blockchain project.

https://www.coindesk.com/chinas-fosun-group-buys-stake-blockchain-startup/

The perfect storm is brewing for a $1k NEO +massive dividend of GAS in the next 1-2 yrs

But what is the usefulness of the gas, that just like an emision that generated by the neo token as like a dividend, It seems meaningless to buy the gas token as far as i know. That means the supply of gas should be unlimited by the way. Is that true statement or you can give a better answer about that.
2211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What impresses you the most about Bitcoin? on: September 26, 2017, 01:54:05 PM
I see a lot of people like about bitcoin or get into bitcoin is about the rising price of bitcoin. They see bitcoin as a form of investment to grow their wealth. That is not really the purpose of bitcoin. The real reason why bitcoin is getting more and more adoptation is because of its technology and the limited supply. Bitcoin can be one of the best transaction/payment methods, more transparent and well documented than banks. It wont be abused by the government to manipulate the price for self benefit. It is trustless and fast.
tbf, people who invest to bitcoin only seek profit, the don't care about the technology bitcoin is using, if bitcoin doesn't have this much value, Im really sure that those people will not even lay a finger to bitcoin or even invest it.
investor invest to bitcoin for profit, and by that, the price of bitcoin skyrocketing.
2212  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin so expensive? on: September 26, 2017, 01:50:03 PM
First, bitcoin value based on market's demand, if theres demand more than supply, the value will increase, even if some of people said that bitcoin is "made of thin air" people will still buy it because it's not "made of thin air" but it's intellectual asset.
The expensive price of bitcoin is because of the bubble and at the moment the current price is bullish.
2213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do ICO coin really worth like they claim ?? on: September 26, 2017, 01:44:11 PM
Using blockchain, you can easily trace the movement of their tokens, if there's something strange happen, you can make an act.
that's why many projects often publicly said that they lock up some percent of allocation and can be unlocked after 1 year or more. so, they can't just sell all of the token when just announcing that they only sell 0.0001% of all token.
2214  Economy / Speculation / Re: about real value of bitcoin ? on: September 25, 2017, 01:37:05 PM
is this is 4000$ rang or more

what you think?

 Cheesy
What do you mean by real value? There isn't one single value to limit Bitcoin. There is continued addition of value in Bitcoin over time. This increment is from increased trust of investors, increased adoption, real utility and worldwide adoption.
So I think $4000 isn't at all the Bitcoin limit, there is much to go.Wink
The price of bitcoin or can be called value are indeed depends to all those factor above you mentioned but I doubt that it'll grow fastly as expected. i see that bitcoin is now just stucking itself, it's because the unstability of value due to chinese regulation bringing newcomer doubts to whether invest to bitcoin or not. I can say that the trust of investors is now currently at its downfall.
2215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy altcoins or not? on: September 25, 2017, 01:27:08 PM
I believe it's way better to buy couple of different ones instead of sticking only with BTC. We know BTC is the safest investment for long term but if you want to make profit you should know how to play with alt coins. The real profit is there.

and the hardest part is to figure how which altcoin might be profitable and which not (besides the scam coins around).
That right, but people who so called trading expert often judge or differentiate good coin and bad coin based on the progress of the coins project. the price of coin often rely on the project progression.
if there's something amazing or extraordinary happened to the project progression, it'll sure pump the price of that coin a lot, for example, an altcoin having cooperation with local government.
2216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum wallet on: September 25, 2017, 01:22:51 PM
I use MyEtherWallet because it's really convenient, don't need to download the whole blockchain and I can save the privkey easily to my hardisk.
if you are looking for cheapest fee for withdrawal or deposit, it's depend. MEW give the users option to set the fee on their own, and ofcourse they also recommend a proper fee to make transaction faster.
2217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beaware North Korean Hackers are targeting exchanges! on: September 21, 2017, 01:56:53 PM
North Korea is capable of conducting some special war and maybe attack on exchangers could be a part of that. If many exchangers would be affected that would influence on Bitcoin price in huge scale.
But I don't think that they could become a big "mining power" or that are even interested in that.
seeing that NK capable of creating nuclear weapon, I assume that making income from bitcoin by hacking exchanges and mining is not an impossible thing from them, if you realize how they could gain such technology to create nuclear then you'll easily know that they are really capable of mining with big amount of powers.
2218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: North Korea and the bitcoin earning on: September 21, 2017, 01:13:38 PM
There have been reports that the government of Kim Jong-Un have started mining bitcoins, as a way of overcome the global economic ban of his country. Which brings us to the question: How could this affect cryptocurrencies' image to the average citizen, giving the fact that other governments could use this to enforce regulation on the matter?

LOL.
What are they going to use for bitcoin mining? old 386-processors or something.
Do they even have modern computers?

Probably would be much more efficient, if they sell something in exchange for bitcoins. Eg. missile technology.

On the same note, should we stop using dollars, because criminals are using it much more then bitcoins?

that's where you're wrong, north korea could easily obtain advanced computing technology from china. i assume that this thing is the outcome of the boycott by many government. north korea trying to gain additional earning by targetting various exchanges. just hope many exchanges to tighten their security for now and future.
2219  Economy / Economics / Re: China will become Super Power ? on: September 21, 2017, 12:44:35 PM
China is growing its economy and strength rapidly as compare to other countries of the world, it will be possible for china to become a super power if they continue to grow like this. Some of the reasons that why it is going to be next super power are,
1. China is one of the biggest manufacturer and exporter of different types of goods all over the world.
2. Its economic growth rate is 9 percent since 1990.
3. Having large military
4. Massive workforce

I agree, but actually china has a main problem in their country that have never to be solved until now. Its a unemployment issues. Because of the huge population of its country, the goverments are difficult to provide enough jobs field. So the value of china unemployment are increase year on year. I think they need to fix this situation to become a super power country.
governments have no obligation to give enough jobs for all their citizens because it's impossible to do that. many countries that have so many population always facing this problem and until now none of them could resolve this because there's near to zero possibility, population always increase by the year and the percentage of birth rate increase aswell. it's like trying to clean your field from grass but the grass just keep growing and reproducing again.
2220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Speculation: which coin will be added next to Coinmarketcap? on: September 19, 2017, 10:50:48 PM
I think that they always add coins that's hyped or sucesfully collecting big money. regardless to their exchanges which soon to be coming, coinmarketcap always update their list everytime, there's no point to make speculation about it. moreover if the devs of a coin want their coin to be listed there, they could probably simply send coinmarketcap dev a message.
