2221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The future of Ethereum (ETH) on: September 19, 2017, 03:33:06 PM
ETH has the smart contract which oftenly used by so many ICO projects, don't you think by that ETH will really have long lifespan because there'll always people buying ETH for the sake of following ICOs?
it's an enough answer about the future of ethereum, and also once it changed to PoS, people will crazy buying eth for staking
2222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO fundrising survive at 2018+? on: September 19, 2017, 03:01:22 PM
ICO is like kickstarter, so it'll most likely to survive until many years later, as you see that a project which held kickstarter by raising funds through Initial public offering or such also have percentage to be scam. basically the same as ICO so there's no need to worry, by the way even if ICO becoming obsolete, another method will appear.
2223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO regulation good or bad? on: September 19, 2017, 02:58:45 PM
The regulations exist to prevent fraudster or scammer by taking advantage of the easiness of collecting money through ICO, by that people as investors in this thing will be even safer but there's also one more thing that you need to know, by the release of the regulation, the government will also have the benefit to control the ICO and such.
2224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your 5 favorite coins under $5 million market cap and why? on: September 18, 2017, 10:48:24 PM
BitSend (BSD) - first segwit masternode coin   with development team - sponsored the crypto hotel meeting in germany few days ago..

Signatum - cool fresh community coin that will go far in development + community

Unify - a fresh coin that helped me to earn good money Cheesy
I like the bitsend and the team is really professional and i hear the team already made the bitcoin x project and that was based in the stake address, It was a good team ever in my opinion. because bitsend is the only token that not based in ico but the only successful airdrop token in this time.
2225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Beware of using Slack in ICO campaigns! on: September 18, 2017, 10:44:53 PM
We faced a problem with our Lordmancer II Slack channel. There were many scam messages every day: in private, in general channels, etc. We constantly banned those spammers, but they just registered once again (even the names were the same!). Also each day we saw new members with names like "CEO", "cofounder", etc.

Finally we dicided to close the Slack channel. Now we use Telegram group https://t.me/lm2ico as a main communication channel.

I strongly recommend not to use Slack for ICO campaigns!
That's why there some teams already migrated their public chat to the investors into the discord which already exploited by these scammers. I mean there is no bug like what was already happened in the slack channel and it seems to be a goot place to start another channel in the discord.
2226  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: September 18, 2017, 02:58:03 PM
I would just like to hear your opinions, Which is more profitable, Day Trading where you can profit through buying the dips and selling when it pumps repeatedly, or Long term HODLing where you buy the dip and only sell it when it goes up 5 to 10 times its price value?

Holding is more effective than Day trade. If we have a lot of patience for sure we can do the long term investment. There are many people who became millionaire because of the long term investment. I will also do that for me to become millionaire.

Base on my experience holding is more profitable in the long run. You can save also from charges for every trading if you choose to hold and sell in the long time.Though sometimes I do also day trading.
that's why it's called holding lol or some people said, bagholders, if it's for short run then it'll be called day trading. and yes it's more profitable in the long run because it's specialized for long run and not short run.
tbf, day trading have the high risk of trapped into many dump and pump, not a good thing for me and i'm already out of this one.
2227  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: September 18, 2017, 02:54:32 PM
I think it will not lead corruption due to bitcoin community was noy covered by any government. However there's a possibility that bitcoin leads corruption if the government of different nation joint forces to take over the power of authority to bitcoin.
That could only possible if the "different nations" were owning majority of bitcoin and probably above 70% then they could take over the power of authority, bitcoin is decentralized so it's a hard try for them, talking about corruption, it's not about corruption that caused by the involvement of the government but corruption in some instances that uses bitcoin as their currency, but I think it'll be impossible, all the transaction have been recorded in the blockchain and it'll be there forever.
2228  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to predict up and down the bitcoin price before we trade on: September 18, 2017, 02:25:04 PM
those charts are utterly useless, all that matters is the movement of the whales, the ongoing news affection, and the coming regulation. you may think that you've made an accurate analyzation or prediction by usnig that sort of chart even though never tried it in vip.bitcoin.co.id as you mentioned but, after all, utterly useless.
2229  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Obtaining news before the market - sources? on: September 18, 2017, 02:14:03 PM
just join any trading groups in telegram lol, they often update the recent news or even rumours about cryptocurrency and by that you may be the first to see and take an action.
there's some site that publish about news early but i find these telegram groups more easy to get information.
2230  Economy / Speculation / Re: China is buying - Something's coming up on: September 17, 2017, 10:23:53 PM
China is buying hell out of the market on okcoin. Almost 10k already.

Something's brewing...
All of the prices in the exchange sites are still low comparing with the western or asian exchange sites, But the important thing is the volume is really low comparing with another exchange sites, And i think that the price will be stable at the moment until there is a way for the chinese to trade outside there.
2231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I hope I live long enough to see ethereum crash on: September 17, 2017, 10:21:33 PM
You never know which breath will be your last, but I really want to see ethereum crash hard. Not because I missed the boat, just because I am suspicious of the big money backing behind it, and because it simply is a needed correction. Who doesn't appreciate the forces of nature at play, waves crashing during a storm, or lightning cracking?

I'm guessing a year, 18 months tops should do it.
Can you proves me your accusation about ethereum, or at least give me some thing that related with your opinion regarding the ethereum token  Grin It looks funny for me to see someone was accusing ethereum about get backed by a lot of money. Sometimes a lot of people are hating with ethereum.
2232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: To Buy BCH or not to Buy BCH? on: September 17, 2017, 01:07:11 PM
Can't help you with this, but one thing is sure, no coin will ever be in the position of BTC. not BCH not ETH ...
Bitcoin will still lead but until when? BCH sure have the potential but if I'm to choose, I rather go with ETH, not this BCH because I'll prefer the real BTC over BCH.
Buying BCH is a good thing if someone could afford to lose seeing that the volatility is rather high and I've seen some sort of manipulation in the price because the movement is just unnatural. however, it's just my honest thought.
2233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why many ico launch with ETH ? on: September 17, 2017, 12:54:36 PM
beside of those nonsense answer above. many ICO launch with ETH because they could simply create smart contract, deploy it, and it's ready to use. Unlike with bitcoin, ETH have the capability to enable someone to create blockchain asset called token. the ICO started will not going to make their own blockchain from the start, it's definitely effortless to create a token and after that, what they need to do is making fundraising.
2234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do banks feel about crypto on: September 17, 2017, 12:43:00 PM
unfortunately many people above are saying bullshit and barely know something about cryptocurrency and banks. there were so many banks that investing and do trading to grow their capital through cryptocurrency.
if anyone say bank don't like bitcoin, it's maybe, but for profit they don't give a shit as long if the thing could generate them profit by holding.
2235  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If exchanger cryptocurrency China is close ? on: September 17, 2017, 12:28:42 PM
they'll anonymously trading their bitcoin and paypal balance, maybe bypassing the system by doing some sort of transaction manipulation. but I'm pretty sure that the chinese bitcoiners will just sell off their bitcoin offshore and get their dollars, and then they'll be able to exchange their dollars to chinese yuan afterwards. such a simple step for me. unless some exchanges deny to give their service to chinese.
2236  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will control the world economy!!!!! is it true? on: September 17, 2017, 11:56:20 AM
No it's not true atleast until all people are capable of using bitcoin. the authority and government also not that stupid to not stopping the growth of bitcoin or atleast make it struggling to grow.
if the world economy can be overtaken that easily, and seeing from the volatility of bitcoin, we'll soon doomed once it happen.

2238  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? on: September 14, 2017, 02:06:25 PM
The value of bitcoin is so volatile because the market is controlled by the whales or the manipulators who have a lot of bitcoin in their wallet and they are all focused in manipulating the market so they can control and make a lot of profit even the market is falling down or not.
they manipulate the market by spreading fud, they can't manipulate it through their money because bitcoin have currently the biggest marketcap in history of cryptocurrency ever, only bill gates could control or manipulate the market of bitcoin.
FUD is the most efficient way and that's way many of them currently spreading.
2239  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin under 3000$?? on: September 14, 2017, 01:56:33 PM
Tweet from BTCC (Chinese exchange owned by Charlie Lee's brother:

https://twitter.com/YourBTCC/status/908285586368167936

Quote
1/ After carefully considering the announcement published by Chinese regulators on 09/04, BTCChina Exchange will stop all trading on 09/30.

2/ BTCC products, including BTCC Pool, are not affected by this change. Please contact us at support@btcc.com if you have any questions.

I expect this is the reason the price crashed to $3600. We have an actual chinese exchange closing down.
That's exactly the main reason and there's nothing to do, they choose to close down their exchanges because they probably will be burdened by the new regulatory and it's the only way.
but, why china has a such big impact to the market of btc that affect every people mind to dump their btc, pretty curious.
2240  Other / Off-topic / Re: I am getting sick of fucking Chinese idiots on: September 14, 2017, 01:08:11 PM
I think we no need to ban China cause their government has banned all activity related to ICO investing. That is the reason why few days ago all coin price on the coinmarket went down and bitcoin is not the exception, its price had down to 3k9$. I think the only reason for this case is their government can't totally control all activity about cryptocurrency in their country.

Or maybe China is making all the FUD so that they can buy a lot of bitcoin with a cheaper price. This issue about banning bitcoin in China is not new but still there are plenty of them holding bitcoin and even mining it.
nah guys who know, maybe your thesis up there is right or wrong. I wonder how the fudster could spend that much time spreading fake rumour and the latest is about china banning bitcoin which infact just tighten the regulation regarding bitcoin.
all this mess caused just by these stupid rumour, tbh really hurt my brain how people could trust such thing LOL.
