1841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monthly income and Bank account statement for a KYC on: March 04, 2018, 12:14:50 PM
Just recently I saw an ICO that asking a monthly income and bank account statement for a KYC. It's said on their KYC form that it is important for them to know the financial capacity of their token holders or buyers.
What can you say about this requirements?
Somebody here did it before?

Yes i see some icos are looking for the potential investors just like those are having monthly income more than $10000. Kodak one is the ico that also applied KYC which asked monthly income as a requirement.
But can you tell me about what ico that applies that requirements?

I will never do that because there is a lot of other ico that doesn't require the participants to write their monthly income to participate in the ico. KYC is going crazy right now.

1842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEX on: March 03, 2018, 03:07:35 PM
Anyone interested in NEX?  (Running a decentralized exchange from the NEO platform) There will be a lottery type sale coming up for up to 25K people, max investment of 1k each from what I understand.
Another marketing technique from nex developer. But it will not big as ethereum decentralized exchange site, and why? NEO is chinese ethereum and there will be a lot of regulations will strict the neo project itself.
I'm a bit interested to participate in the crowdsale but i never think to put a large of initial amount to the nex. There is no a lot of demand to the majority of neo based assets.
1843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally, BitConnect Lawsuit has Begun! on: March 03, 2018, 02:22:19 PM
Finally, some of the promoters/advertisers of BitConnect(ponzi schem) like Craig Grant and Trevon James have been brought to justice.

https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/81n8r4/bitconnect_lawsuit_has_begun_trevon_jamescraig/

Wouldn't surprise me if that clown Carlos Matos is next on the list Grin .

I hope so but not only carlos matos. All of those are standing behind the carlos matos should be included on the list. There is so many leaders in the bitconnect itself. Glad to see bitconnect lawsuit will begun.
And then bitconnectx will become another cancer to the crypto in the future.

Hey Hey Hey...
Wassap Wassap Wassap Wassaaaaaaaaaap BITCONNEEEEEEEEKT

Finally it's starting! But really, who are they gonna charge for Ponzi affiliation scheme?? I don't remember seeying any ogni the big bosses apart from the lovely Carlos, that is one of the frauded guys too

What do you mean about gonna charge? Those are standing behind carlos matos?
1844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The worst altcoin you know? on: March 02, 2018, 01:34:34 PM
Courious about this just because the tops are always for the Best or the moust profitable .. what if we know the worst ones .. in your opinion ?

I am still in research fase, but what I saw is that doge coin is one that everyone laugh at , still not sure though because i saw it has quite a good market cap.
Keep in your mind about future update of dogecoin soon. Those are thinking doge coin already died and then they will be regretting it later. There was for bounty to build the platform to make a cross bridge from ethereum to the dogecoin. Alex and some people are working privately on it. 1845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: March 02, 2018, 01:27:48 PM
Bitcoin price is pumped by shitty forks announcements. We got around 10 forks now. One dude even opened a website, that is offering a bitcoin fork for 0.005 BTC. https://forkgen.tech/ Bitcoin is becoming a low quality crap. We need just another good Ethereum fork to be announced and the price will skyrocket.
Bitcoin becomes a mother of fork coins right now. That was the only thing that i can understand what was happening with bitcoin right now.

We don't need any ethereum hardfork to make the price of ethereum increase a lot. That's only generating short-hype for ethereum. because the majority of hardfork coins mean nothing in the future.

What were we needed is the future update about the casper pos implementation which makes ether turns to the hybrid system.
1846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] UBIATAR -ICO-Cryptocurrency to be Everywhere on: March 02, 2018, 01:22:02 PM
How many coins are there for sale can't find it your whitepaer yet,  what they will do with unsold tokens are you planning to burn them?

UbiatarPlay: 50.5% is blocked and will unlock in this way: 2% three months after ICO, 4%
six months after ICO, 6% nine months after ICO, 8% twelve months after ICO, 10%
eighteen months after ICO, 20.5% twenty four months after ICO.
These resources will be used to pay Avatars in the UbiatarPlayLiveBroadcastWorldwide
phase, for research&development and for marketing & promotion.
Founders: 12% is blocked and will unlock progressively starting 12 months after ICO; the
total will be reached 24 months after ICO.
Presale: 16.5% is blocked and will unlock progressively starting 6 months after ICO; the
total will be reached 12 months after ICO.
Advisors: 6% is blocked and will unlock progressively; the total will be reached 9 months
after ICO.

The unsold tokens will be burned
I was seeing two ubiatar site with a different domain. Is both related to the same company? And I have another question about what makes you different with another project that aims to build a similar service like your project? It seems interesting to know more about this project. So many projects are working on P2P market but it looks the majority of them don't give a good result in their development progress.

Is there a social media group?
1847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future Of Litecoin 2018 on: February 28, 2018, 03:33:37 PM
Nicknamed silver to bitcoins gold, it holds the 6th highest market capitalization. Still, where is Litecoin going in 2018, no one can predict. We can only make an educated guess based on past performance, and be it the tech or the price hike this year, i believe that Litecoin is expecting sunny days ahead of it.
The more scalability of litecoin in this year as charlie has laready made a statement regarding the future of litecoin will be implementing lightning network. It seems to be the main achievement of litecoin in this year at the same time it helps bitcoin to tested how good lightning network itself to the litecoin before it will be implemented in the bitcoin.
1848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you guys pay Taxes for profit? on: February 28, 2018, 03:28:45 PM
Hi.

i didn't traded so much of my crypto for FIAT so i didn't dealt with that question yet.

however i think it's an issue need to be dealt with.

1. do you use accounting services?
2.if so, do you keep documentation of all traded or bought coins?
3. what do you do in cases of profit from ICO's

WHAT SHOULD I DO??
1 I don't use accounting service. Why do i need to use accounting service for just a little thing like this?
2 I think that you will be seeing your trade history in the exchange site and that will be written by the bot. It looks like your trading activity will always be monitored in the exchange site. That just like you have kept your documentation in the exchange site.
3 I will try to pay the tax if that will be applied in my country but my country is still not considering to give a tax to the traders.
1849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thailand Government plans partnership with OmiseGO! on: February 28, 2018, 03:24:30 PM
It's been so long since I heard anything about OmiseGo that I had almost forgotten them. For such a hyped coin, not much has come of it. It has been a disappointment to me, so hopefully this news is the start of more activity coming.
I remember the last partnership with the thailand bank and it's not related to the thailand government and this is a new partnership in my opinion. If that will be true in the future and it will become a real thing and then we should get another big hype soon because that means if the ico project can be used in our real life. Just like what already done by thai government and OMG
1850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how do you think about the forkdelta?? on: February 25, 2018, 02:11:41 PM
I learned about it not so long ago and was pleasantly surprised by the speed of interaction with the interface, in contrast to the EtherDelta. So now i'm fan of this fork  Wink
that means of the new forkdelta was having some improvements compared with etherdelta. But this time i labelled all of those etherdelta developers just like scammers. They were raising a lot of funds through ico and then they are gone. That means like some people above me said they are selling nothing for something just like etherdelta worthless token. I hope this fork will never try to do that.
1851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New In Cryptocurrency on: February 25, 2018, 02:09:15 PM
Hello Allzzz Tigers Of Cryptocurrency

I am New in Cryptocurrency i have Only 5.15 Dogycoin I want to Mine coin , i have corei5 CPU with Nvidia 2gb 730GTX Card, Can you guide me how to mine and which is best for me as i earn something, also through staking as i continue my MBA after earning.

Thanks to All in Advance
Don't do that. It may better for you to calculate how many you can earn with your GPU. I can say your GPU was included in the old version of Nvidia GPU series. That means it less on efficiency and effectivity.

As far as I know from my understanding of crypto mining and you can try to look at those still on the easy difficulty to mine.

Doge looks good, but honestly, you can burn your VGA before you are meet your ROI.
1852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what do people think about all the ICO's now requiring KYC? on: February 25, 2018, 02:04:42 PM
So. i have been interested in the new Neonexchange ico that is about to be announced today. however, they made a tweet that KYC is mandatory.

now i am a guy that loves the crypto space because you can invest without anybody really knowing who you are.

but as more and more coins/services require your id to even pay you for what you have bought i feel like we are losing some of what crypto is.

i have even seen bounty campaigns that require your id to pay you.

how are peoples thought about this? i really dislike the direction that icos are taking. at this point i will only buy when a coin hits an exchange and even that seems to have id requirements coming up...
That will be suitable for those ico because they are working with government regulation. They are try to avoiding the risk by accept those investors from those countries are banned icos. Just like US, Iran and many other countries. But KYC for bounty looks a terrible idea. Some times there is a bounty that only paid some dollars to the participant and does it worth? It doesn't. KYC purpose is working on preventing investors from countries ban ico.
1853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Centralized exchanger or Decentralized exchanger? on: February 24, 2018, 03:30:18 PM
Decentralized exchange is what we need for crypto currency trading since decentralization is the key feature of most of the crypto currencies. If the exchange is centralized, then it is more like storing and using your FIAT bank accounts. People use crypto currencies to avoid bank, then why would someone use centralized exchange?
Not sure about that, the fact that all of the money goes to the crypto through use centralized system such as bank and wire transaction or even debit card transaction to buy some cryptos. Not all of people are trying to avoid centralized system because crypto still pegged with centralized system at least you can see the fact about how centralized exchange still become a trend rather than decentralized exchange site itself.
1854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance started a war between Elastos (ELA) vs WePower (WPR) on: February 24, 2018, 03:26:07 PM
Elastos SCAM!
Well i don't think so... as it being backed by such big names... like NEO and Bitmain and AntPool are just few
Not all of those projects backed by big name will result in a good project. There are some projects backed by big-name become fail too.

As for me, the only winner in this competition is a Binance.
hahaha true as BNB ~9$ and currently 150k+ votes have been cast at 0.1BNB each vote that will be 15,000BNB =135,000$ already Cheesy
That's why voting becomes an interesting business for exchange site to earn more money not only from the developer but the participant and supporter itself, binance use its name to gain more and more funds.

So, that means if Wepower tries to pay those to give a vote to the wepower in the binance to be listed on the binance exchange site? Not so good as in my expectation about that.
1855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you run out of gas? Eth failed transaction question on: February 24, 2018, 03:19:19 PM

I saw this on stacks exchange.

It scares me because his TX fees are up 0,65 eth!

How did this happen? https://etherscan.io/tx/0xda8c0b80d8e240a83c8f6b067c4656babeb13e8e0ece4fd4292aa06252f1285c

Can it happen to me?  If a TX doesn't confirm in hours and you don't cancel it, will it just continue to eat up eth as the days go by? Very scary...

this user might get mixed up with gas limit and gas price. Looking at transaction detail, he used 25000 gwei as gas price and 25000 gas limit. this why he ended up with actual cost 0,65 ETH. For reference to gas price, I usually use ethgasstation.
Indeed, That user doesn't even know how to put gas correctly and i think that he/she was putting 25k for gwei limit and that makes all of gas limit gets consumed by the network itself, as far as i know about the fact that the gas limit can't cover all of the gwei must be paid by the sender of the transaction. That results in the gas error and he/she was wasting a lot of money on gas.

1857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Nvidia Graphic Card Release, and cryptocurrencies on: February 21, 2018, 10:59:49 PM
Why would there be a correlation here? Nvidia literally releases a new series of graphics card every single year (for the past 5+ years) -- around the same time of the year.

I think OP meant that NVIDIA are designed a special crypto GPU and plan to release it very soon. Samsung also got orders for ASICS.

https://www.techpowerup.com/241552/nvidia-turing-is-a-crypto-mining-chip-jen-hsun-huang-made-to-save-pc-gaming

IMO this may bring only a small correction to GPU coins like ETH and BTG.
It seems nvidia company was seeing so many Pc gamers getting triggered due to the 2x increase for GPU caused by miners. Anywhere in my country latest GPU just like a rare thing. I can't find that in so many stores.
That's why Nvidia was trying to issued new GPU for crypto. But i think that the result will be the same. GPU still in the demand by miners.

Maybe NVIDIA is Satoshi Nakamoto and they created Bitcoin just to sell more graphics cards!  Shocked
Are you dumb? What the fuck was wrong with you?
1858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Vs Bitcoin on: February 21, 2018, 03:16:44 PM
Are there more Ethereum users compared to Bitcoin users.. From values I can find online it seems there might be more Ether wallets compared to Bitcoin wallets.
what are your suggestions?
At the same time ethereum users are bitcoin users too. Because they are using both of crypto currencies based on their needs. Ethereum working on the different section than bitcoin. It's about the future technology to provide good infrastructure and development of decentralized asset and system. Bitcoin is focusing on the become an actual payment system. both just like apple and orange.
1859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: State owned bank and crypto comunity unite to protect ICO investors in Russia on: February 21, 2018, 03:14:33 PM
The subsidiary bank of the state corporation VEB Globex together with the Russian Association of Crypto and Blockchain (RACIB) and the CrowdHub Internet project are creating a system for protecting investments in Russian ICOs. The system will start working this year.

Read more here: https://steemit.com/crypto/@cryptohumster/new-platform-to-offer-protection-of-crypto-investments-in-russia

To tell the strory short the platform will control funds collected on ICO. ICO team will receive funds in portions when they meet milestones. If a project fails all unspent funds are distributed back to investors. Groups of investors will decide if the team fullfils promises.

I personally think that introducing some regulation is a good idea. I also like that the project is driven by both comunity and state bank. But any idea has its cons and pros.

pros:
- Protection from scam projects. As the team doesn't get all the money at once they will need to have a good progress to get funds.
- Protection from fishing. Investment is done on the platform, scenarios with fishing mails like bee token story can't happen (or at least less likely)
- Investors get some control over the project
- Overall process becomes more transparent

cons:
- Crypto is about decentralisation, this platform looks centralised
- Funds will be controlled by platfrom so it can be hacked like an exchange
- It is not clearly explained how projevt reviewer will be elected and rotated. Corruption is a big problem in Russia
- The platform will give too much control for the state over ICO

So what do you guys think? Is it a good idea that can possibly be adopted all over the world or it will fail eventualy?

Honestly that needs a simple and complex thing to secure investors from scammers in icos. The icos team must need to complete KYC verification before they will be doing an ico and then they must be registered all of their real personal data to the regulators. It's more than enough to protect investors. It's simple if they are making it so easy to do. But all system related to the bank looks centralized.
1860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i stay away from tether? on: February 21, 2018, 03:11:56 PM
hi im from the philippines and we have a big premium in buying and selling of bitcoins
so now i just want to trade btc using usdt-btc pairing in bittrex. however i am aware of the
subpoena to tether regarding their shady business

should i stay away from usdt for safety?
You may need to start using the real dollar pair. i remember about bittrex will try to replace all of the usdt pairs with real dollar pair in the future. But it seems you can still use usdt until we have a conclusion about the result of an audit by bitfinex team auditor to check the availability of reserve funds to backing tether as the stable token just like the dollar.
