1881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the best ICOs to buy right now? on: February 11, 2018, 04:57:04 PM
What are the best ICOs to buy right now?
I just try to suggest coinmetro ico which gained mass participants from various countries. I remember about the fact that all of the pre-sale phases just sold out just in some minutes.
It may become a good reason to participate in there.
You can try to see about the reason behind the developer to create coinmetro ico. The whitepaper is also interesting to read.
1882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is hodling alts dangerous? on: February 11, 2018, 04:45:59 PM
Definitely not. Why will it be dangerous hodling altcoins? Altcoins have way way more potentials if you will just study them well. Altcoins are not just coins, they are revolutionary ideas which could transform how we live in the future. You can also trade altcoins at very low prices compared to bitcoin, that means there are huge prospectives for growth if you invest your money in it.
It will because not all of the altcoins are having proper progress on its development. You can try to see that some coins were having so many problems with the development progress. Because not all of the altcoin has good daily trade volume and that will become more difficult to liquidate all of out token to the market. That's why significant token still becomes more preferable.
1883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference between ERC20 and ERC23? on: February 11, 2018, 04:24:48 PM
The difference between ERC20 and ERC23. ERC20 is already existing token standard used by ethereum tokens. ERC23 is a new version of token standard.
1.Eliminates the problem of lost tokens which happens during the transfer of ERC20 tokens to a contract (when people mistakenly use the instructions for sending tokens to a wallet). ERC223 allows users to send their tokens to either wallet or contract with the same function transfer, thereby eliminating the potential for confusion and lost tokens.
2. Allows developers to handle incoming token transactions, and reject non-supported tokens (not possible with ERC20)
3. Energy savings. The transfer of ERC223 tokens to a contract is a one step process rather than 2 step process (for ERC20), and this means 2 times less gas and no extra blockchain bloating.

I should think, both of you are copy pasting the existing blog about the differences (comparison) between ERC20 standard token and ERC23. Without mentioning the sources of that article.
The only significant improvement on ERC23 to the fixed bug on the previous ERC20 token compliance.
But the majority of exchange sites are still using ERC20 token standard as their service,
1884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a fake coin? on: February 11, 2018, 04:16:36 PM
I just saw this somewhere on the internet. Are there any fake coins existing? How do you avoid buying fake coins?
Yobit, cryptopia, coinexchange. All of them are having so many fake coin or i called them all as dead coin for sure with no volume and demand. They are all created by scammers to scam the investors and traders.
There are so many fake coins in these days, the only way to avoid fake coin you can try to make a deep research about that. majority of fake coin started with nonsense idea.
1885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kyber Exchange on: February 11, 2018, 04:14:08 PM
Kyber Network launched the Kyber exchange today.
They have about 10 coins listed.
Decentralized exchange
Its great to see some teams launching projects that have some real world use.

That's a big news in my opinion but we are still on the red. Finally, the product will have released by the kyber developer. I think that will be replacing scam etherdelta to be the future of ethereum decentralized exchange site.
But i just try to pick some kyber to join in the hype soon. I couldn't be so late for that. This time etherdelta turns into the shady exchange
1886  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learnings from crash on: February 09, 2018, 04:45:28 AM
What do you feel you have learned from the crash (if anything)? I think the market has gained a little bit more stability now, and therefore it is nice to look back on your own thoughts and the decisions you made when experiencing such a crash.
Personally, I learned that I need to continuously, as markets grow, 'take off some risk' and allocate some profits from alt into ethereum and bitcoin.
In the same regards, I will also begin to allocate small percentages into $ so that I can gain more on crashes like this one.
Lastly, I once again got confirmed, that in crypto we see huge volatility and that is just something we have to live with - for now at least. Never panic sell in corrections!!!
LOL, that has predicted by so many experts in the crypto trading. That was always happening every year. I was buying a lot of altcoin at the dip, and some of my portfolios gain a lot of return just in a week.
Newcomers will always be making the situation even worst because they are so easy to be flammed by FUD.

if this way continues and then the whales were feeling so comfortable to manipulate the market through a significant dump to make small fist feel panic.
1887  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Prediction : Dream or real ? on: February 09, 2018, 04:38:59 AM
I dont know did you watch or not, Cliff High published a video on Youtube where he said that Bitcoin will reach 64k price till mid April 2018. I am not sure if it is possible or not but in my opinion price makers wont let the Chinese investors to buy bitcoin such a cheap price like 7k-8k USD. I am really curious what people on here think about that ?
It's just another speculators and what makes you take it seriously?

There currently someone that predicted the price of bitcoin could be reached 100k in this year.

that's clearly the only speculation from him.

But if you saw the history of bitcoin went from 1k into 10k just in some months and then you can take your own conclusion about that.

What will be happening if bitcoin goes from 8k to 64k?

That needs 6x increase.
1888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum market value reach $11,000 before end of December this year? on: February 08, 2018, 04:16:19 AM
Base on the experts speculation recently that Bitcoin will reach  $50,000 before end of December this year, 2018 and as you guys will agree with me that increase in the market value of Bitcoin will lead to increase in the market value of Ethereum. Do you think ethereum will grow up to $11,000 before end of December this year. In addition to the speculation, i strongly believe that encouraging new investors will go a long way to actualize the growth up to the said amount. Do you believe so?
Don't take it seriously, the fact that the price of bitcoin goes down a lot from ATH. As far as I know about this speculation without any accurate data. Ethereum looks very difficult to go to 11k value at the end of this year, but it seems impossible. That means the marketcap of crypto should be worthed some trillion dollars man. Oh god but this's just another random speculators.
1889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO + Exchange? on: February 08, 2018, 03:23:00 AM
I believe it is very common to talk about ICOs and all that, but what is the take on ICO + Exchange? I mean, is it BETTER to invest into an upcoming ICO that is also an upcoming Exchange. Bace is the name I am looking at.

They are offering their token and are an upcoming Exchange, so how do you rate this combination? Need to hear your views on how much worthy this investment is. Check it https://www.bace.io
There are so many similar project with bace just like binance with its binance token, Kucoin with kucoinshares and coss with its coss token. But as far as i know that never try to invest your money on that exchange ico that offers dividend to the token holders because it can be considered as security.
But what do you mean about ico with upcoming exchange? i guess that's ico that develops future exchange site.
1890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How will NEO be affected with China's further action on exchanges? on: February 08, 2018, 03:16:36 AM
Clearly it should affect NEO negatively. China has already expressed that it doesnt want anything related to cryptocurrency in their country. I know its still doing very good in the exchanges, but do you think it would really last? Look at BTC and make that a good example of how the market changes direction very quickly.
Look at neo market https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/neo/#markets
The majority of exchange sites that traded neo based on the china. That means if PBOC will try to take further action to restrict these exchange sites and that will give a big impact to the neo. because everyone will be so difficult to purchase neo.
I remember when PBOC stated ico is not allowed in china that gives a big dip for neo just in short time.
1891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digipulse worth buying? Under Valued? on: February 08, 2018, 03:08:16 AM
DGPT along with every other coin out there saw massive drops this week. This is one I've been keeping an eye on was recently +12 dollars on CMC. Now at a value buy of ~4. Anyone buying in? Saw it in clifs data before but dropped off radar.
DGPT just another worthless token. Please, you must try to read what already written at coinmarketcap correctly. 24 hours volume of DGPT gave a lot of reasons to not buy that shitcoin.
With only a few bucks and someone able to pump it goes to the month. Consider choosing just the promising coin to make sure your amount was safe.
1892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether - "safe harbor" on: February 06, 2018, 11:49:52 PM
Has anyone invested in Tether as a "safe harbor" while this all falls ... with the intention of returning to wherever he/her has been when Tether starts to grow again and in that way, he/her additionally increases the number of BTCs? If you haven't invested, why didn't you?; besides these apocalyptic inclinations that Tether will break at the crucial moment before it moves up and that the people who are caught in it will let go all because they will not hold 1 to 1 ratio with USD, but will go 0.01 USD or lower ... and the most important question - Why do you mean that? On what basis exactly?

I jumped into Tether only because there's nothing else to go into during a falling market.  I guess theoretically I could cash out to BTC and send to Coinbase for a real cash out but the fees would be too expensive; not to mention slow.

Tether is a much needed mechanism in crypto but I wouldn't hold Tether long term because I don't believe they have the currency in reserve to back it up.  I looked into DGD (Digital Gold) but surprisingly that went down with the market as well.  Bittrex has Nubits which says it's a stable currency but it's not on Binance so again I don't have a good option to hedge out to.
When audit will have published by the investigation team and if there are no reserve funds backed tether to equal with a dollar for each tether, and this becomes the worst thing to hold tether.
A lot of people are waiting for the result of the audit but still, there is no more update regarding it.
Tether becomes "safe harbour" for temporary. But this will not be so long.
1893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins: which one are you most excited by? on: February 06, 2018, 11:43:38 PM
Has the audit of Tether been done yet?
Not yet, tether company makes it difficult to be solved. It looks tether company was avoiding such audit to the reserve fund.

OP, i think that all of your lists is the same as a tether.
I saw the dai chart, and then it ever went down to the ground.

But for the last token and i will try to do deep research about that.
1894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the best exchange?? on: February 06, 2018, 11:36:42 PM
What exchanger is good to make buy and sell those altcoins??
I thought that the only good thing is the primary exchange site which gives the more guarantee about the service. The big exchange site provides an easy way for you to liquidity your amount. As far as i know, it seems to become the best choice for you but remember to avoid those exchange sites which had so many problems.

Binance, okex and kucoin look become the best choice for you to use it as the best place to buy and sell altcoin.
1895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum surpasses Bitcoin market cap - is Bitcoin then considered an Alt? on: February 06, 2018, 11:32:10 PM
Or is the history of this term further rooted?
No, If ethereum surpass bitcoin and it doesn't mean a lot to us. Only the place of bitcoin will be replacing ethereum if it already exceeded the bitcoin. Bitcoin will be the same as bitcoin itself.
As long as the majority of crypto still use the bitcoin as the leading pair to theirs and then it should be considered as the first number of cryptocurrency based on its adoption by another altcoin.
1896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could LTC go to $1000.00 ? on: February 04, 2018, 04:10:16 PM
I think people are hating LTC now because of Charlie Lee Incident. It has created doubt in investors mind.
But personally i think LTC's run is not over yet.It can surpass 500$ in 2018.
It would be an impossible thing to see, Charlie lee incident make so many people think for twice to invest in the litecoin. my guess the litecoin will gain more value but it will not doubled as soon as possible.
So many coin look so difficult to gain green candle in this time. Litecoin has used to be the alternative payment or transaction if the bitcoin gets bloated. And no more. Honestly litecoin is lack of future development about the blockchain itself.
1897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoinfuji will clone Bitcoin on: February 04, 2018, 01:39:20 PM
The website doesn't look professional. Where is the team there no transparency? I click bounty link and there is nothing to show. The whitepaper doesn't look so good either.
And you have mentioned all of the reasons not to invest in this ico. OP has an intention to make promote bitcoin fuji. I was seeing some ridiculous thing about that.

This is not my first time to see this kind of thread.

There are some threads are discussing this too.

I'd liked to call this one as an unknown project without any transparency.

A big risk involved in this one.
1898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese New Year? on: February 04, 2018, 01:35:39 PM
What are your thoughts on the whole Chinese New Year speculation?

A lot of people think there's gonna be another crash during that time. Did you buy during this initial crash or are you waiting for mid Februar.? I'm leaning towards the latter.
I just waiting for another moment before chinese year. There will be more dip in my speculation. But this is my personal thought about that. The chart looks stable right because the latest red candle can't be considered as a significant dump after bigbearish. But in my opinion there will be a chance for crypto to get another green again at least to give a little jump before chinese year.
1899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Great news!!! on: February 04, 2018, 01:32:14 PM
LINE Are Launching A Cryptocurrency Exchange - https://cryptodaily.co.uk/2018/02/line-launching-cryptocurrency-exchange/

They are already hiring experts in blockchain technology to ensure that their customers are getting the best possible services.
In my opinion this would level up the community because a known media app has already joined the crypto currency service.

What are your thoughts about this?
Line companies will be based on the japanese exchange site and then it's not something good for us, As far as i know about the fact that this will not give a huge impact to the international demand for crypto.
Coincheck already proven there is a lot of problem in the japan exchange site. It's good in my opinion. But this is not a big step in the crypto.
Legalization should become a huge news in the future to end the bearish trend of crypto.
1900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regulation - Groth potential for annonymous Cryptos? on: February 02, 2018, 02:16:40 PM
Do you think that the ongoing discussion about cryptocurrency regulation will lead to the rise of truely annonymous cryptos such as DeepOnion or Verge?
As long as these coins are claiming to be the real anonymous coin which still uses the centralized exchange site, then you must not expect a lot from there.
Where are from you saying they are all genuinely anonymous?
The regulation will try to aim a natural part of crypto which already called centralized exchange site. It's not directly pointing at the cryptocurrency itself.
