61  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why I trust Patrick Harnett on: September 12, 2012, 02:53:59 PM
With the knowledge gained in threads such as these, today I will be going after the guy that was dressed up in the Chicken Suit in front of the shop, with the advertising sign on....as this is obviously not a waste of time, versus going after the shop itself, right ?
If you start to adjust your hypothetical to match the situation, the conclusion becomes quite the reverse. For example, have the guy in the chicken suit broker the deal taking a cut of your money in the process.

The Chicken Suit guy profited none the less. I took a coupon from him, for which he gets a flat rate bonus for each one taken/used, along with his hourly rate for advertising inside the suit.
62  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why I trust Patrick Harnett on: September 12, 2012, 02:34:28 PM
Well, this has taught me alot. I want to thank everyone for their input.

I, myself, just got food poisoning from a Chicken Shack type of place, that people warned me to NOT eat at.

With the knowledge gained in threads such as these, today I will be going after the guy that was dressed up in the Chicken Suit in front of the shop, with the advertising sign on....as this is obviously not a waste of time, versus going after the shop itself, right ?

Thanks guys. I appreciate all of the tips learned here.

Let this be a lesson to Chicken Suit advertising guys everywhere..... I AM COMING FOR YOU.

Phinn, I appreciate you efforts and please don't let anything I say stand in your way of going further, but that's (the valid stuff) not new info to alot of us Wink

I am sure everyone else appreciates it though.
65  Other / Off-topic / Re: [NSFW] Who is your favorite 'Naked News' Correspondent ? on: September 10, 2012, 10:21:37 PM
Is this on FOX?

Uh... You do realize that she strips right down to bare vag and boobies, right ?
Somehow, I doubt that FOX would be able to show the news like this......
66  Other / Off-topic / Re: [NSFW] Who is your favorite 'Naked News' Correspondent ? on: September 10, 2012, 09:55:02 PM
Doesn't anyone care about the News ?
67  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: September 10, 2012, 09:27:39 PM
Sign up with assholes like pirateat40? Are you mad?
Did you guys forget that he is a scammer and a lying sack of shit who just stole huge pile of BTC? Really? That fast? LOL!

He didn't steal anything. All those investing IDIOTS gave it to him, willingly. There's no proof that he is a scammer, or that he was lying, or that he was pretending to be different people, or that he has a dead man's switch, or that 'it shouldn't take longer than a week', or that he will begin payouts on monday, or that Trendon Shavers is simply a DBA name, or the amount of bitcoins he currently has, or that he was selling BTC locally and doing loans and market arb, or that his wife is a fake blonde, or that he has a legitimate business, or that he has legitimate partners that require 100% disclosure to his lenders upon payback of funds, or that he actually WILL pay back 100% of owed funds down to the hour with running interest, or that he has a BOT that checks his PMs for him on this forum so it may look like he is online but he really isn't, or that Don Shrents is a real person, or that he is actually a real pirate, or that he has 30,000 of his own personal bitcoins, or that GPUMAX was NOT used to launder money, or that he was never pointing GPUMAX hashing power to his own private pool in order to generate freshly minted coins for personal use/laundering, or that he never skimmed shares off the top of every GPUMAX miner even when they were only using GPUMAX for monitor and control their miners for 'free', or that he doesn't have 7 different sockpuppet accounts on this forum, or that 99% of all his OTC feedback prior to BTCST big money borrowing was left for sub-$100 Paypal/BTC transaction where he was actually nice.......OR....or...OR...or...
68  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: When is this pirate drama going to end? on: September 10, 2012, 09:16:20 PM
Now. Er hopefully soon.

We can now conclude pretty decisively that pirate isn't going to pay anyone and Matthew is not either.

Wanna bet ? Wink
69  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Service/Bet Recap Summary on: September 10, 2012, 09:14:16 PM
I, I, I think we may have seen this play already from Wall Street?  Anyone remember AIG?

LOL...would it be safe to say that the 'seriousness' and irony of an Insurance company, mismanaging their 'insurance funds' to the point of collapse could in turn be viewed as comedy ?
70  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: squall1066 V Snapman on: September 10, 2012, 09:06:06 PM
Don't go on chat channels, not my level, Feel free to do some PR work though.  Grin

I don't blame ya. I don't go on either, as I am mostly concerned about the temptation of being lured away to my local airport, with the promise of a ticket waiting to a fancy hotel at some exotic destination....by some old dude.

In all fairness, it could have something to do with my username being 'britney16'....but that's besides the point damnit !

I simply don't feel safe in live/real-time chat rooms of any type.
71  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer Tags- Pirate Pass Through operators ? on: September 10, 2012, 09:00:15 PM

Personally I also feel that it is not the PPT operators we should be going after, but rather those who formed part of the Pirate propaganda machine irrespective of whether they operated PPTs or not. So if you operated a PPT, but did not campaign for Pirate you get away with it. Simply providing a service that the market demands.

I can't help but think of the 'Good Sumaritan Act' and how it saves people from being charged with assault or sued by a would-be-victim, after they break the ribs of that 'victim' who's life they are trying to save by performing the Heimlich maneuver, in order to actually save that person's life, rather than leaving them to choke to death...LOL
72  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [PENDING] Scammer: Matthew N. Wright on: September 10, 2012, 08:51:14 PM
I enjoy shrimp and would be mad if it was never sold to me.

I like it with cocktail sauce (basic horseradish & ketchup mix), although some people enjoy it with tartar sauce (another basic, green hot-dog relish and mayo mix).

I'm on the fence though, as to if I enjoy it more breaded and deep fired or simply sauted or cooked in a brine and served chilled.
Steak and Shrimp is nice, for the garlic sauted style, but having breaded/deep fried shrimp and french fries is also good, depending on my mood.

One think that bothers me most at times though, is if the shrimp are not cleaned properly (the poop-track left in, down the back-side), but at the same time, if too deep a cut is made and the shrimp ends up being butter-flied instead and doesn't stay together, or the body anyway.

I think that global region also plays a large role in how shrimp is/are prepared, if/when they are in 'season' and local cuisine's influence on the style of preparation of them.

As with everything, your tastes may differ, or vary.
73  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer Tags- Pirate Pass Through operators ? on: September 10, 2012, 08:30:47 PM
Based on what I was trying to convey in the following quote that originated from the 3rd post in this thread...

Each case should be evaluated on a separate basis though. I don't believe that all Passthrough OPs deserve to be labeled as scammers immediately, or in a few rare cases, not labeled as scammers at all.

To throw a blanket-label on every PPT now, would essentially be to invalidate every GLBSE contract on the market, as terms for certain programs were very clear from the start (basic pirate default clauses rendering certain bonds worthless that people purchased full knowing ahead of time)..

NOW, if funds were mis-handled or the acquiring of funds under some sort of misrepresentation has clearly occurred, then by all means, a scammer tag should apply (lying about WHERE funds will be invested and to what exposure etc.). For example, taking funds that were supposed to be used for INSURANCE against a 'pirate default' and allowing greed to see those funds secretly invested INTO pirate's program to get a high interest yield would be the WORST and most obvious case, as has been shown to have happened already.

Using 2 specific users for the following example....
Here is essentially what I was referring to in my post above and perhaps the basic criteria that I might apply if faced with helping to make the final decision:

PatrickHarnett
- Solid GLBSE Contract with clear default information.
- Even now, continuously working towards closing out his 'business' in a timely fashion, above and beyond original contract(s).
- Never lied about destination of certain funds, risk involved or consumer/buyer/investor protection.
- Good communication throughout.
*NO SCAMMER TAG*

hashking
- No clear contract(s) using GLBSE, rather used his own platform, for the most part, limited GLBSE.
- Currently estimates longer-than-should-be 'closing-out' business plan, even for Insured 'Securities' etc.
- Masked destination of certain funds received, misappropriations, re-invested Anti-Pirate 'Insurance' back into Pirate program.
- Complete LACK of communication, clarity and policies etc.
**SCAMMER TAG Deserving**

Disclaimer:
The above is based on common Forum knowledge. No assumptions were made by me during the above points.

This is why I feel that blanketing ALL Passthrough Operators would be unfair and counterproductive in a way, especially for those OPs who are working towards making things 'right' by their own standards and going above and beyond what even their original contracts offered.

Thanks for taking the time to read this,
bitlane.

Well, in their defense ( I can't believe I am posting this) alot of the improvements happen behind the GUI, where we can't see. They are always trying to improve load balancing, share fetching etc.... and they seem to keep moving forward. It's just to bad that the Public Relations situation is killing the Technology side of things.

I don't know what you've eaten today, but it's the second post where I see you "defend" pirate and trying to put yourself in his perspective.

You evolved a lot since your crisis for the no-withdraw after 3 hours.  Grin

Unfortunately it depends on the time of day that I take my medication Wink
Seriously though, GPUMAX.....what could have been.....fuck me.

I just can't help but think: "Hitler....finds a cure for Cancer"

Nothing gets me HARD like the comments about a Long Term members, buy a peanut gallery of sockpuppets and newbs with a grand total of 6 months membership and 168 posts between them all.

Everyone is an 'Expert' on the Interweb  Roll Eyes
76  Other / Meta / Re: The marketplace has been removed from the forum ? on: September 10, 2012, 05:06:04 PM
I just noticed it is missing from the front page of the forum. Cant say I am surprised at all.

Perhaps you accidentally hit the [+/-] under the ECONOMY heading on the left of the page, compressing the sub-section listing ?

For a moment I became hopeful that the cesspit was gone  Cheesy

Just hit the [-] and it CAN be gone (for you) once again Wink
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did pirate hurt the bitcoin economy? on: September 10, 2012, 05:02:45 PM
I hate to admit it, but I think he has strengthened the BTC Economy by forcing Buyers/Investors to be more conscious when wielding their spare BTC in the market, looking for a place to put them.
Unfortunately, at this point, no one trusts anyone, but it will get better once the 'shell-shock' wears off a bit and people begin to dip their toes back 'into the pool'....

Alot of us were caught off guard, didn't care, or were just overwhelmed and blinded by greed to see this last scam take place (or admit it during), as we all gave up money willingly.

I feel that the trees have been shaken enough for the dead and rotten shit to fall out of, or off the branches, leaving only healthy growth potential for the future.

'The Human Condition'....Trial and Error....lol

I love Matthew. I hate all of you.....because you are all poor and probably smell.
79  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: September 10, 2012, 04:50:38 PM

Esp since Pirate always stated gpumax/btcs&t payments all came from the same wallet, I'm amazing GPUmax still exists and people still using it, given the present state of default on btcs&t.

Don't worry about them. They are all COOL because they are only risking a few Bitcoins  Roll Eyes
....a few Bitcoins times how many users ?....another good haul by Trendon Shavers in the end.

To anyone involved into bombshelterzero, please read this thread before doing anything:

What exactly are people meant to read and take away from THAT ?

Why not simply QUOTE YOUR POINT? and save everyone's time.....
