CORRECTION: theymos alluded to the collection of IP addresses...not Maged, as I stated above. My appologies.

Thats the point, he doesn't trust the OTC ratings.

No, I do not.

As someone who has been in #btcst since before it was announced I can tell you why people are being banned, and it is not because of disent.

Excessive trolling
Attacks on pirate (constantly asking how the ponzi is goin)
That is about it.

In general if you are being an annoying prick you will probably get the banhammer

Well, that explains alot.......

Hey, aren't YOU the guy that wants to hand over everyone's BTCST Data over to Pirate ?

Do you honestly want me to ask the Admin(s) to cross-check your IP against Trendon's known IPs.....
(all of which, Maged theymos has already said he HAS a collection of, as Trendon never used TOR)

CORRECTION: theymos alluded to the collection of IP addresses...not Maged, as I stated above. My appologies.

Nevermind, looks like I was paid in full Cheesy

You didn't happen to get an extra 2650 BTC by chance, did you ?

I figure that since BTCST and GPUMAX share a wallet, there might be a chance you ended up with my BTC by accident.

Let me know.

No such luck.

So! Gpumax is back, I've still got a substantial chunk of my hashes going through here, how about a bit of public work then  Tongue

Well, if you do get any extra, would you mind hitting me up ? I could have sworn I dropped the funds somewhere around there.

gigavps, could you kindly respond to me ?

While we are on the topic....

Is there any way that I can get a loan for 2650 BTC ?

I currently have this 'thing' coming in to cover it. Obviously, you can trust me, right ?

here's my BTC address: 1BEw3Hj7xwCB1qv5CuU2CHM6i3Hcb92pyh

Amazing that people are still posting shit like this. Are people actually falling for it?

If I can get 22% per Week, I am in.
368  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mr. M Spoiling the Pirate Investing once and for all. on: August 31, 2012, 10:54:41 PM
Its time we revealed what all these Pirate investment programs really are. The inner workings of BS&T may* have been leaked in what appears to be an botched attempted audit by pirate. There is immense work load maintaining these investment strategies. In the following weeks many more people will be coming out of the woodwork attempting to emulate BS&T and it looks like they will make the same mistakes.

A Little background on me; I do financial analysis for a small family owned investment firm. I have a M.S. in Forensic Accounting from University of Albany. I also do contract work with P.I’s as well.*

It appears Pirate actually kept very good records; And I have to admit a lot of what he was doing is rather clever. He is using some intrinsic principles of bitcoin and applying them to highly specialized markets. However by attempting to maintain his interest payouts in such a dynamic system he was making payments when he really had no idea on his standings.  It is true he was making between 2 and 18pct and his proof of work is sound; on average would this would make his 7pct payouts profitable. However these workings are arbitrage strategies and cannot scale.
Recently we have the black pearl attempting to push the payouts even higher.  The pirate trading techniques™ are simply applying Disciplined hedge fund principles in a rather clever way.

I want to put this to rest, and I will do it by showing a proof of work. I will be running a similar program and at the end of a solid 30day period I will be releasing my entire transaction history with a rather lengthy write up appropriately titled “Pirate investment strategies” at the end of 30days I will be transferring full control of all the accounts to the largest account holder.  Any account holding over 10btc will be a partner and entitled to an Annual Financial statement. The future of the holdings will be in the hands of the new Caption.

The most important part, I will be making Interest payments at the end of each investment not on a constant basis. You will see how much is coming in and be able to make decisions off that data.  This can be multiple times a week or none at all. It could be as low as 2pct of your investment or as high at 22pct.
Now the cool part; I allow donations under 10btc to go into a slush pool. Large account holders get the majority of my time; but if at any time I’m short I will be using this slush fund and 80pct of interest  will get paid right back out to them.

It is worth noting that my software does organize these from high to low. Therefore accounts that are smaller will get filled last. Although there will be times I will need everything I can get. Accounts under 10btc can expect small payouts of interest a couple times a week. Simply donate money into the slushfund and I will make payments back to the sent address. Watch your coins on the blockchain and you can finding out a lot of what is going will demonstrate how this all works.

I will keep people informed Via PM if you are the largest account holder. The first Mate
TL;DR Investment fund; The only promise is ill reveal  exactly how I spent the money. I accept all donations and payout interest randomly.

PM or email for your private deposits.

Again: Do not invest what you cannot lose! These are high risk investments!

edit:

*may, or may not be of factually basis. Investors beware
**It is important you are able to accept payments from sending address! Payment will continue as long as you keep the account open. Residuals can last even longer in the system even after withdraws.
***Deposits do not represent a contract and not subject to applicable laws.

I don't understand.

Why would a user like WorldOfBitcoin, who is clearly a sockpuppet for another account, create yet this pirateroberts sockpuppet for the aforementioned account ?

Now, not only do we need to figure out WHY ? but we need to figure out who WorldOfBitcoin is a sockpuppet for.....

WorldOfBitcoin

pirateroberts
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=65569

Who is the actual HAND up the ass of these 2 sockpuppets ?

I love this place...LOL

2) I have no interest in locking up 90 coins in escrow for 16 months unless you have some interest in paying me 0.75% per week on those funds.

If I were you, I would ensure you are getting 7% per Week on your coins. Anything less is just silly.

371  Other / Meta / Re: Alternative types of spam on: August 31, 2012, 10:25:31 PM
I don't consider it SPAM at all.

I tried to complain about the 'tip-top-gem' guy listing an ENTIRE PAGE of separate threads/adds in the Auction Section a while back and was told that there was nothing wrong with it, by forum staff. Using the same, or similar mentality, I don't then see the harm in keeping everything in a single thread.

But again, times change, as does the weather and people's opinions of matters, when it affects them, so I could very well be wrong...AGAIN.

What do I know...I just come here to chat. I don't work here.
372  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: pirate payments list -- accounts paid: 22/459 on: August 31, 2012, 10:21:02 PM
I was thinking more along the lines of 36.5 BTC. That is my offer.  Roll Eyes

After the kind sentiments I relayed, via PM to some stranger (in regards to your business etc), I would have expected a kinder offer.

As I asked previously.....

Still selling that debt?

Ya... I can take...Oh.... 3200 BTC for my BTCST Account and all Legal Rights.
That's the 'friend' price, of course.
Last week, the account was worth 2650 BTC, so consider yourself getting a deal, along with my silence from here on out.

Please send BTC Here: 1BEw3Hj7xwCB1qv5CuU2CHM6i3Hcb92pyh

I'm not buying your silence.

Well, I can also happily accept 3650 BTC in that case.

Have you noticed that nanotube hasn't been very active on the forums lately?  It makes you stop and think..

That's OK. I am sure he has a great OTC Rating from people like Pirate, that trust him.

I'll bet my 12 BTC against your 90 BTC that any entity that ends up being the real-life incarnation of pirateat40/BTCST is engaged in either a criminal or civil action by 12/31/2013.

You overshot the mark...and undershot, all at the same time.

Reduce the time frame by 1 year or more and increase your bet by 1000 BTC or more.......but try to keep the above ^ odds, as you will get paid  Wink
378  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: pirate payments list -- accounts paid: 22/459 on: August 31, 2012, 09:21:44 PM

Thanks for actually asking a question rather than calling me names like some others.

I gave you props (IN PRIVATE none the less..). Look a couple posts up ^
