1021  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Problems running 3+ GPUs (bounty) on: June 23, 2012, 05:26:02 AM
Use CAT 11.12. Using 12.x will only allow 4 cards/cores max, then blue screen on the 5th. I had the same problem with EVERY generation of card using Windows 7 x64 (as Windows 7 x32 only supports 4 cards/cores regardless).

I use 11.12 for EVERY rig, every Card generation (5/6/7xxx) and run up to 6 physical cards per rig without issues, yet 12.x on the same hardware = bluescreen with 4+ cards.
(SDK 2.1 for 5xxx Rigs, SDK 2.4 for 6xxx Rigs, SDK 2.6 for 7xxx rigs - Drivers always 11.12)

Do I get paid now ? (also, perhaps for the BAT file/shortcut help ?)

I always seen to miss out on the yochdog bounties Wink .....LOL

Win7 x32 = 4 cards/cores regardless.
Win7 x64 = 8 cards/cores, must use CAT 11.12 (11.12-7970 Edition is available and I use it as well).
1022  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [208 Gh] MtRed (PPS, LP+, API, 0 FEE) Merged Mining Test LIVE on: June 23, 2012, 05:01:27 AM
I don't want to complain but....(you will see this is FAR from a complaint...lol)

During the past year of mining, I have really only used 2 pools on a near-full time basis, MT.Red being one of them.

As of switching back to MT.Red recently (merged mining on pa.mtred.com), I have experienced the most SOLID performance I have seen in a long time.

My Video card miners are operating at efficiency levels of 400% on average and I am not seeing any communication errors in CGMiner for either GET or SEND works (GF & RF). Stales & Rejects are also more than manageable, making my overall averages very decent. Because of the SIGNIFICANT increase in efficiency/Local Work, my Network traffic is down to an ALL TIME LOW locally and the payouts are as close to 'generic calculator' PPS estimates as I have ever seen....which makes me wonder:

WTF ?
(ps. good job)
1023  Economy / Marketplace / Re: ["WAIT LIST"] BFL Singles Order Date / Ship Date on: June 21, 2012, 03:39:06 PM
Well their statement "We have come up with a way to ship without invoking import taxes for our customers" is a complete and utter lie and rubbish.

The Single cost a total of £90 ($140) import tax.

It depends on the level of service used or paid for initially, when shipped.

Every Courier/Shipping Service offers International delivery with optional 100% all-inclusive pre-paid Tax/Duty/Brokerage/Importing Fees etc (so you pay nothing 'at the door' wen it arrives and know exactly what all costs are, as you have paid them already UP FRONT)
.
Depending on the Service Contracts that are in place between the Shipper and Business as well as the volume of shipments made under the account in question, the Shipper could receive special flat-rate all-inclusive PREMIUM SERVICE LEVEL shipping rates from the Courier that are often cheaper than an individual is able to ship for using even the cheapest service from the same Courier. THIS IS MORE COMMON THAN YOU KNOW, obviously.

Obviously Government Fees can not be discounted, as they are standard rates that apply to everyone, but other portions of the whole, which include Brokerage etc ARE subject to possible reduction in pricing due to volume discounts etc. The fees you quote above ($140 USD) are not 100% Government related and therefore, CAN be discounted as I said....DO SOME RESEARCH ABOUT IT.

...So NO, it's NOT rubbish or a lie. You just seem to have no clue what you are talking about.

It's great to 'call someone out' when there's bullshit to be called out, but AT LEAST have a FUCKING CLUE before making such statements.

Take your own advise and stop posting your garbage all over this forum, as you have so wisely advised ME to do, or better yet, to refrain from.

Yours Truly,
bitlane
1024  Other / Off-topic / Re: Butterfly Labs - Bitforce Single and Mini Rig Box on: June 21, 2012, 03:18:07 PM
By the time the SC is released, he will made nearly $10k, so the upgrade will only cost him $5k. Also he has no import tax to pay and can visit the office to drop the MiniRig and pickup the SC, so he is making a killing here. HERO.

Who pays for overhead costs, such as electricity during this $10k generating-spree ? The 'Electricity Fairy' ?
1025  Other / Off-topic / Re: BFL refused to issue refund because it was paid with bitcoin (via Bitpay) on: June 21, 2012, 03:15:52 PM
You know, kinda like you are about begging for donations in your forum sig ?
Right, like I'm the only one. Roll Eyes
At least I have a few in there, unlike most.

Don't worry. That's just my OCD acting up.
After I tell you to fuck off a few times, be-little you a bit...then take my meds and apologize, we will all be friends again  Roll Eyes
1026  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: What else can our FPGA mining boards be used for? on: June 21, 2012, 03:14:09 PM
Lets create out own FPGA reuse suite, and once BFL are no longer producing FPGA, we sell them on for even more than they cost us Smiley

Don't tell me what to do with my FPGA after BFL no longer produce them !

(pretty fucking pathetic....mostly on your part, as seen here first: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=88903.msg979901#msg979901 )
1027  Other / Off-topic / Re: BFL refused to issue refund because it was paid with bitcoin (via Bitpay) on: June 21, 2012, 03:11:35 PM
Stick your stinky sock in your mouth, I will decide myself how I pay and if I cancel or not.

As I told you before....
I can't take anyone seriously, who begs for BTC in their forum sig like a bottom-feeder.
Get a fuckin' job.

If you don't mind sharing, WHEN were your orders placed ? What was the Order Confirmation date for both orders ?

April 17.

THAT'S BULLSHIT !

I can't believe how they treat their customers....and how many customers put up with it.
BFL should be held accountable for some sort of compensation after 8 weeks. This is just ridiculous.

They 'press release' says they are a market leader..blah..blah..blah.
MORE LIKE A FUCKING MARKET JOKE.
Venture Capitol ? YOU are the Venture Capitalist, by allowing them to hold your money for 3 months at times without delivering what they promise to in 1-1.5 months.

Everyone should use Credit Card ONLY and CANCEL THE TRANSACTIONS if product is not received at the 8 week point.
THAT will teach them.

Unfortunately, they have ben lucky, using Bit-Pay and BTC funded of orders, so they have NO OBLIGATION to be speedy, as there is NOTHING you can do about it once paid.

They have ZERO INCENTIVE to maintain reasonable delivery times.
1030  Other / Off-topic / Re: BFL refused to issue refund because it was paid with bitcoin (via Bitpay) on: June 21, 2012, 03:00:54 PM
My brother ordered 5 BFL singles with Paypal and 5 singles with bitcoin using Bitpay. He tried to cancel both orders.

BFL refunded the Paypal one, but refused to refund the Bitpay one saying it was non-refundable because it was paid with bitcoins.  WTF?  Angry
They missed their delivery guarantee by a lot. Can't they just issue a check? They could do Paypal too.

I also noticed they quietly removed the delivery guarantee from their website. Didn't it used to be on the right side of the order form?
Are they pretending it never existed?
Does anyone have a screenshot they can send me showing the guarantee for the inevitable lawsuit?

If you don't mind sharing, WHEN were your orders placed ? What was the Order Confirmation date for both orders ?

1032  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Bitcoin Savings and Trust on: June 21, 2012, 02:28:28 PM
FWIW:

I have been mulling over this for a long time. I have bet against pirate on betsofbitco.in, posted my feelings in the forum, and pulled in and out of pass-throughs.

Yesterday, I decided that I do not think this is a Ponzi. I wish I would have come to this conclusion much sooner. I will be back in the game some time soon, and I would encourage others to do the same. If I am right, this is one of those investment opportunites that only comes around once in a lifetime.

HB

.....and unfortunately the ship has sailed for many people, which I couldn't be more happy about. The 'Referral' model is the greatest decision that Pirate made, in regards to new account creation.

With all of the negativity directed towards Pirate, many times through cowardly 'sock puppet' accounts.....no one can really be sure who is who at times and I for one will NEVER refer anyone because of this. I have been asked, offered bribes, money/BTC...but I will not refer anyone and run the risk of letting someone into the program who may or may not have been shit-talking Pirate and the rest of the BTCST members out of jealousy.

I have trusted Pirate with large sums of BTC since early-mid January and I have never been given any reason to second guess that trust, nor do I see it being a problem in the near future. I have never openly gloated, only shown appreciation for the opportunity that I was given to invest.

A handful of community members have done VERY WELL thanks to Pirate and because he has done so much for so many, some of those same people feel it necessary to 'get his back' when the bullshit begins to fly.

Like a broken record, even though I have said it multiple times before.....I will say it again:

THANK YOU PIRATE...FOR EVERYTHING.

Even at this point in the game, it's still comforting to see all of the 'sour grapes' out there...having no choice BUT to complain and continue to sew the seeds of mistrust about the BTCST, all because they couldn't and now will likely never get an account....

bitlane.
An extremely happy BTCST member.
1033  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BitForce SC - full custom ASIC on: June 21, 2012, 02:02:41 PM
Apparently, HyperScrew is reuseable lol.

The only problem is, HyperScrew is only good for Vag....and even though Trojan's condom is a bit more expensive and doesn't guarantee the same amount of sex overall....you can still safely use it for Anal as well, if the Hetero market suddenly dries up and you find yourself having to re-purpose your stockpile, for Gay conquests....
1034  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BitForce SC - full custom ASIC on: June 21, 2012, 01:59:59 PM
Durex is selling HyperScrew condoms, but is facing increasing competition from Trojan and it's impacting the bottom line. Some of the lab geeks have been talking about some new condom technology combining the best of latex protection and a vibrator. Since it's a year away, Durex announces they'll be taking preorders for HyperScrew SC (Super Coitus), but if you buy a regular HyperScrew they'll accept your nasty useless used condom in on trade. They'll wash it out and repackage it for AIDS prevention in Africa while charging NGOs full price, keeping the preorder money for a year, killing Trojan's sales while not cannibalizing their own.

In a year's time, HyperScrew SC hits the market, and is a revolution. Guys with SC start railing all the chicks, and difficulty of getting laid explodes. Everyone curses Durex, but is forced to buy their products to avoid being forever alone. In the end everyone buys in and things go back to the status quo, expect everyone's a little poorer and Durex is filthy rich.

Well played Sir Wink
1035  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: The mining market balance on: June 21, 2012, 01:56:36 PM
Much as I like and respect kano, this is the attitude that has me slightly concerned.

Don't bother respecting Kano. He's a crybaby at best. He called for my BAN from the forum for posting a fake screenshot of my CGMiner performance and talking about a Malware app that was circulating around the bitcoin world (THAT I NEVER EVEN HAD, OR POSTED A LINK TO).
I can think of far better reasons to BAN me, than THAT....LOL

If he's not crying about, or fighting, in regards to the development of CGMiner/BFGMiner....then he's up on 'his soapbox' about something else.

He's done great work for CGMiner and it's backend, but at the end of the day, he's just a little girl.
1036  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mini Rigs in the wild! on: June 21, 2012, 01:51:56 PM
Congrats Giga ! I am jealous.

Those Rigs look awesome.
1037  Other / Off-topic / Re: Butterfly Labs - Bitforce Single and Mini Rig Box on: June 21, 2012, 01:49:07 PM
It seems it's more like:

If you own one mini-rig and you want to trade it in, you have to BUY 1 ASIC rig for $30K then trade your mini-rig in + $15K for the second ASIC rig

There's NO trading in with money without buying a similar product with cash as well

WTF ? THAT is completely RETARDED.

If you currently own a Mini-Rig and want to trade it in when ASICs are available, you pay $15,000 Cash + Trade in your existing Mini-Rig...and get a new ASIC Mini-Rig in return.

What ever gave you the idea you had to buy 2 new items, in order to get credit for an existing one ?

So, just in case you missed that...

1x Used Mini-Rig (worth $15,000) + $15,000 cash = NEW $30,000 ASIC Mini-Rig.
1038  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Fielding offers for 5xBFL Singles. on: June 21, 2012, 08:01:54 AM
DAMN.....too bad you weren't shipping to Canada and interested in 7970s + BTC.....
1039  Other / Off-topic / Re: Butterfly Labs - Bitforce Single and Mini Rig Box on: June 21, 2012, 07:43:32 AM
But the new rig is 40 times more powerful.

Really ? is it really ?......

Remember the Titanic ? IT WAS UNSINKABLE.
