221  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: HASHKING'S PPT ACCOUNTS IMPORTANT NOTICE (PLEASE DON'T DISREGARD) on: September 02, 2012, 07:47:26 PM
Wow. So, NO response to the little stab in the back ? or call it the 'shot' you decided to take at me, to try and please pirateat40 ?

I see that you were online about 2.5 hours ago and find it ODD that you wouldn't check out this thread.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

here's the reference again, just in case: (can also be found on the previous page of this thread)

Hey hashking, throughout all of this, I nearly forgot to ask you about the following:

Quote
[22:55] <hashking> Pirate, what are you plans for your friend BITLANE
.
[22:56] <hashking> Thanks.  Pirate will payout.  Don't worry.
.
[22:56] <@pirateat40> hashking, i'm going to roast him a bit more well done than Vandroiy.
.
[22:56] <hashking> Nice.

You wouldn't be trying to suck up to Pirate at my expense, would you ?

Would this have something to do with the securing of a certain portion of 'Insurance' money currently invested with Pirate, that shouldn't be ?

As you can see now, he did a GREAT job roasting Vandroiy. How is your payout coming since you submitted your user info ?

Did Bitcoin even had any positive public image left to destroy?

Regardless.... Bitcoin still has ME....and you can take THAT to the bank ! (just not Pirate's bank)
224  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Bryan Micon's List of Non-BCST Ponzi's Still Running (with credit rating) on: September 02, 2012, 05:49:36 PM
Doesn't it simply prove that bitcoins are in fact becoming an accepted currency, now that all the scammers are here?

I would be more concerned if there were no scammers; then we'd have to worry!

So by implication, if it's not worth stealing, it's not worth anything ?...lol

I AM SUPPOSED to be the Troll in the Pirate threads. I hate when others steal my job Wink

It's a job?  Shocked

More like, 'A Labor of Love' Wink

Dank,

Could you please explain how during the Cold War, the Soviets had planned to use a new Weapon's Technology infrastructure based on Tesla Scalar Wave Theory to not only allow them to eclipse the destructive force of the Atomic Bomb at the time, but also to intercept thoughts and influence the minds of their enemies, from a distance ?

I've never used this software before. What should I try, to test it, or 'run' it ?

just try to launch the app, make sure it can see all gpus.

First try....
Machine just locked up solid on black screen... If this is the result of custom GPU clock settings, this idea won't work unfortunately, as the machine will have to be rebooted remotely (which we never know if it even will without stalling) after shutting down the Miner app and to get clocks etc back to normal for this.

Let me play around with this on a couple machines and see what I find out.

I dont think it has to be on stock clocks. Let me ask around.

For reference....My mem clocks were cranked WAY down and all cards undervolted overall (if that helps).

Gigavps is a shill.  I've come to realize this from his posts about pirate and now this rating.

As my ignorance found out the other day, giga's rating is for past performance and previous transactions and does not reflect anything current.
He also said he would gladly update the situation, if the situation itself were to require it from his standpoint.

What level of video card hardware would this setup require ? and how many cards ? Would Windows work ?

I have never used windows for this purpose, so I'm not sure. I assume theres software for windows to do what I need.

As far as cards go, it's pretty much on par with bitcoin mining. So if you have like 4x 6990 or something, that would be pretty quick

So...
Would:
- Xeon i7/LGA1366 Quad Core (no HT)
- 6GB RAM
- 60GB SSD
- 5x 5830s
- Win7 x64
......using a VNC Remote Desktop Interface (as MS TS/RDP renders the video cards useless) on a [100Mbit down/5Mbit up] internet connection work for this ?

The machine described is a spare that simply lacks power and an OS installation.

Would 5x 5830s be too slow ?

Yeah that would be pretty good. I guess what I'm looking for is the person that has the fastest cards laying around.

http://golubev.com/gpuest.htm

that should give you an idea of hashing power for all models. So far I've been offered 3x 5870s and 5x 5830s, which if my math is correct, are about the same speed. I'm kind of hoping someone has some 6990s or equivalent laying around.

I also have machines with 5x 7970s....but I mine with them.

Will this be a 24hr straight 'thing' ? or can you log into a miner, remotely, kill CGMiner, run what you need, then start the miner back up when you exit ?

My favorite from the whole list is probably this:

-1    ran a typical ponzi.

Wonder what a day late on a loan gets, +5?

Very nice, although MY personal favorite was the following:

My other favorite seems to have disappeared.... It was the feedback that included the '9000 Rating' comment.....lol

Look at GPUMAX, a 'Mining Service' ? Clearly a Money Laundering Operation, withheld miner payouts for days during this 'Pirate Fiasco' yet they get a quick taste of Bitcoins again and EVERYONE flocks back to them in droves.
Although, payments are once again current. I just got paid by them again. Hey, maybe I have a part of your "2650" BTC  Wink

And there it is. Regardless of what Trendon has done or is involved in doing, at the end of the day, the community at large seems to have spoken again and what they are saying is: MONEY TALKS.

People can not be cured of GREED and will continue to use that service. As I have said previously, I was booted out of GPUMAX in Feb or March for 1 week, then got back in. I finally quit (by my own doing) in May. I didn't care about the extra $5/day I would make.

The reason I've split my money between two investors is to offer a better balance if one defaults.

Well, under the circumstances, you should be thanking your lucky stars that you did.

imsaguy just made my 'list'.

@pirateat40 | The PPT that didn't' comply will have a long road ahead.  Those that contacted me ahead of time "Friday" are clear.
@pirateat40 | I'm wanted to speak for awhile now, but I someone stole my ship.

@pirateat40 | Finally things are progressing and I've returned to my boat.
@pirateat40 | It's going to get better to some, I promise.
@pirateat40 | That's all for now, back to your regularly scheduled trolling.

I do feel like shit now Smiley

Is that I stole my ship or someone stole my ship?

He seems drunk.

Did you call the Psychic Friends Network ? We need some info damn it !

Pirate has said he would give that information last Friday. Pirate however did not give that information. I personally would like to talk with Pirates lawyer.

You would probably get more accurate information by calling the Psychic Friends Network.
