I have just emailed "coinwarz.com" asking them to add SPR.

If the rest of us could do the same, they may take us on.

Code:
Good morning/afternoon.

Spreadcoin has been around since July 2014.
The coin is a solo mining coin ONLY, no pools!

I would love to see the only non pooled mined coin on your website, I'm sure it will bring allot of users to your site, and the same for the spreadcoin community.

Spreadcoin is growing, has a 2.5GH hashrate (SOLO), and the dev is looking to add darkcoins darksend and masternodes this month.

Very promising coin, please check it out

http://spreadcoin.net/

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=715435.0

Thank you very much, if you have any more questions please feel free to ask me.

Chaps

I've been thinking about this for a few days and I'm in the 'yes, do it' mode at the moment.

I'm thinking of launching a DRK clone, but using spread solo mining.

I'm thinking of taking on board the branding issues people feel is a problem with DRK going mainstream, adding the SPR solo mining, then just keeping tabs on developments with DRK and other clones and making sure the best bits gets into the new coin.

I have a name picked out and an additional strategy to rival DRK, while still using DRK and SPR code. I am also in discussions with a couple of good devs who could provide the necessary support.

Any thoughts?

lol, my question is, why come in here and say to the spr community you are planning on doing this?

You made no such post in the DRK thread, but are using most of DRK's code for your 'project'.

I invested in spr because the dev found a flaw in darksend. Then i invested more knowing the dev was going to attempt to implement darksend/masternodes/instantx. Edit Also learned about the solo only mining aspect (Much thanks to thelone)

Then i learned that spr's code base is forked from darkcoin's and implementing darksend should be 'a walk in the park'.

Go and make your scam p&d coin that 10s of other people have already thought of doing.

Or you can gnaw on your left hand nails while your right hand buys spr from the market.

Grow a pair, buy what you wanna buy and bang the marketcap up few hundred k.

Nice 20000k buy wall @ 0.00025 on cex.

Spread the love on bittrex as well.

So I'm thinking of putting in some effort.

Before that:

WTB 100k SPR
100K is really a huge amount,it takes 11 days to mine.
You have a large appetite.  Grin

22Gh total hashrate!

Would cost you around 15BTC to get that sort of hash for 11days.

15BTC would only buy you around 65,000SPR at 0.00022 (If you could buy that amount at that price)

Good luck, coins Tongue

By renting rigs? I doubt its viable.

Is there an explorer to check the SPR distribution? The 66 > 6 reward is somewhat of a concern, but lets see the distribution.

edit

come on chaps: 1,376,181 distribution and no liquidity?

I found one x11 farm owner who was willing to point it at SPR. But getting around 2gh a day is not going to happen.

The 66 > 6 only lasted 2200 blocks, 145,200ish coins. There are 1,300,000+ now, so 90% of coins have been mined at the 6.66 reward.

I would also like to see a disto.

SpreadCoin has been added to BitTrex.
Unfortunately, the spreadcoin.net exchanges list do not mention bittrex.com.
Apologize for my English.
the trading volumn on bittrex is too small ,I worry that SPR may be delisted soon. Angry

It's just been added lol
1248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / [WTB][RENT] 100-300+mh x11 farm on: December 14, 2014, 04:59:15 AM
A coin has come to my attention and i would like to rent a farm for a week or so.

The coin has a variation on x11 so a few changes to the configs would be needed.

I'm looking for at least

100mh 1 week min.
200mh 1 week.
300+ 3 - 4 day's?

Could use escrow?

Cheers

Hey, im wondering if i can point a rented rig at Spread?

How would i go about doing this via solo mining?

Thanks

I think it would not be wise to do so, unless you can guarantee that the rig owner does not have access to rig while you are mining. Else, he can recover the private key you are using to mine and steal all your coins.

True, but couldn't i just send the coins to another wallet as soon as they are paid?

I need to find someone willing to configure their rigs to Spread.
if the rig owner is dishonest, you have a 50% chance of getting the coins before him.

But then if he is dishonest, he would rent you a fake rig in the first place. In the end, it's just a trust issue...

Yes, i can handle the risk.

Does Spread allow p2pool mining?

Noper - no pool mining at all...

That's pretty cool.

Still on the hunt for a willing x11 miner.

Are there any x11 miners with farms in here?

AFAIK, first you would need to find a rig to rent that can mine the SpreadX11 algo - the algo is modified as the block structure is different, it's that difference that inhibits pooling. Then you might have issues with your wallet needing to be accessible on an IP:port that the miner can reach, I think.

Yep, I have opened a port, ready.

I think finding the Spreadx11 algo miner is going to be the tricky bit, but I will email a few rig owners and see if one of them can configure it to Spread for my duration.

I wonder if someone could fork this for darkcoin?

Iv held EMC since January, and not checked back here since Feb!

Reading through the forum, allot has happened.

Minecraft bukkit plugin? WOW! That is amazing.
I'm going to look closer into this, as a friend wants to set a server up soon.
Is there any feedback from the Bukkit plugin? No loopholes? No way of cheating the system?
