What is the total amount of PPC that will ever be created? There is no absolute cap, but here are some inflation rates for comparison. BTC 12024300 10.9% PPC 20776475 6.7% XPM 3132323 167.7% NVC 602726 108.0% LTC 23224750 45.3%

What is the total amount of PPC that will ever be created? 2 billion technically, but since it already has a lower inflation rate than BTC we'll be lucky if we seen 50 million in our lifetime.

Check this thread: List of exchanges accepting PeercoinI personally would recommend Crypto-Trade, as they have a PPC/USD direct trading pair and seem to be reliable. Some people also had good experiences with Vault of Satoshi (canadian exchange). BTC-E is the largest exchange, but I don't trust them very much.

Hey guys, I'm not really sure if I get the concept Proof of Stake so I thought someone might help me here? (ppcoin.org seems to be down since a long time). So to create a new block people have to possibilities: - Normal proof of work like today in bitcoin - proof of stake. A proof of stake works only with an static inputs for the hash. For example time and the amount of the input of the "coinstake transaction". The more ppcoins someone uses as input the lower the difficulty gets. And anyway, the difficulty is really low compared to the PoW-diff. So to speak you just get one hash and this hash has to have x leading zeros. Hm one question: How do I come to the block reward? Why is this 0.7ppc in this block: http://www.cryptocoinexplorer.com:2750/block/82230653739df500c571ffe254512cb4f35f74c2274476f480a653e9a72a40ecthx

The current addressing system has been in place for some time and I have stopped support on the port addresses. The above address should read: http://ppc.cryptocoinexplorer.com/block/82230653739df500c571ffe254512cb4f35f74c2274476f480a653e9a72a40ec

I've been "mining" with ~100 coin years for ~2 weeks now and have received nothing. How long can this take?

Is your wallet encrypted? If yes, did you unlock it for mining? is your 100 coin years in 1 transaction?

Looking forward to v 0.4 when it comes out soon! I've heard rumors of cold-locked transactions, which would be a huge boost for a PoS coin.
