Obviosuly everybody decides their exit points individually.
My personal situation is, I am not thinking exiting Monero (=selling without a plan to rebuy the same amount or more later) any time soon even if Monero costs 10-50 usd each.
In fact, no reason to dump since when it is time to diversify, I hope I can do it without dumping (buying gold coins and other assets directly with XMR).
Also, I am working full time in two jobs which I love + I have several rental units around Finland which alone can sustain my lifestyle without working so I am not selling in the need of money but when others need some of my Moneros.
I know this might sound a scam but it really isn't. It is time to diversify when people are literally begging to be able to throw money into your bosoms (this is a sure sign of bubble, happened in dot-com-bubble 15 years ago people were sleeping in their sleeping bags so that they are able to invest in some kind of vague tech company that went 1-2 yrs later to bankcrupt).

I agree, I would love to be at the point where I could buy an ounce of gold with a couple of my moneros... That's what I'm personally looking forward too... But as of now, I'm living from pay check to pay check, so unfortunately I don't even have the opportunity to buy more if I even wanted too.

Stop using credit/debit card and pay in cash always.
Make yourself a track where your every dime goes, then make a budget.
Then simply figure out how you can safe in your expenses (perhaps eating out once a month instead of weekly, eating more veggies which tend to be cheaper and healthier per kilo than meat, not eating candies/junk, not drinking soda etc.).
My expenses are very low, rent is 20-30 % below market rent (I am renting in Helsinki where the rental income is only 3-4 % and buying appartments for investments with rental yield of 10+ %), I am paying for my breakfast + lunch only 3-4 euros/day and I still think I could safe even from that because for the sake of convenience I am using certain Finnish shop that is pretty expensive.
Then you see how the money starts to pile slowly to you... In real estate investing it is crucial to be good at managing money. It is a skill which everybody can learn and become better and better all the time.
Living frugally today means you are wealthier tomorrow.

This is of course assuming you are alive tomorrow.

You never know when your time comes.

Well that's for sure.
However, living frugally doesn't mean living miserably. You can be happy without spending a dime, happiness is not tied to spending IMO.

Let the good times roll! I see there is a mini 10 btc wall that is now 19 @29189.

looks like that got eaten, not more significant walls until 297.2k sats (~9BTC)

LOL
XMR walls are worth of 4000 usd or less.  Grin

Buying under 100 usd XMR is a bargain.
The market cap of XMR with 100 usd and 18 000 000 emission means the value of XMR network is only 1.8 billion usd which is pretty conservative and IMO a price an institutional investor will see as a value play and still is able to increase the value at least 500-1000 times.
These are obviosuly best case scenarios and may now realize. However, better to keep the goals high so that we will achieve at least something.

Just Sold, factor of four is enough for me, nom.

A great buying opportunity now in XMR.
In moments like these of a small breathers it is time to reload the bags full of treasures.

It is a sign of a bear market when XMR is rising "only" 24 % in 24 hrs.
1429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 03, 2016, 09:11:52 PM
The worst part it is, it is actually the truth - people simply want Monero and Monero can be an excellent place to put life savings as it is anonymous.
1430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 03, 2016, 09:00:35 PM
For two years now XMR has had December lows and late February breakouts. I'm thinking Monero is the sunshine currency. Fitting, considering the logo and the nature of the project.

The only difference to this time is that XMR used to have pretty heavy emission and now it is drying.
Soon we need sellers to sell Moneros when people are literally begging us to sell even a fraction of coins and they are throwing their life savings into the bosoms of Monero bagholders.
1431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 03, 2016, 07:25:16 PM
I probably shouldn't have mentioned XMR at the alternative investments meetup.

Are you feeling bullish or bearish?
1432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 03, 2016, 06:05:25 PM
Looks like the dump truck has left the bay, hopefully we can continue this upward movement for the next two weeks.

Why two weeks?

You two complete jokers still flogging that dead horse?

You are an obvious troll and I should not feed you but if you make such a fantastic claim xmr is dead, please bring evidence to back your statement, otherwise you are not been taken seriously.
1434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: March 03, 2016, 05:40:41 PM
Things are looking good and the future in front of us is looking bright.
Marketcapwise the potential of xmr is in trillions of dollars rather than billions. It is global and better than btc not to mention to fiat.
1435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 03, 2016, 05:33:21 PM
In this new cryptorush, we could soar to a 300 million market cap easily - That is $30 per Monero, and it could happen a lot faster than you might expect.

my conservative estimation of fair value has always been between 5 and 10 USD.
So a 50-100 million USD valuation or a top5 coin. Seems fair imho.

We might achieve that pretty soon. I hope people will not start selling so that they will not regret. Monero's tech is worth of trillions of usd in fair value.
1436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 03, 2016, 05:08:46 PM
As people start to diversify from eth to xmr, it will push scarce xmr to pretty high prices. Kind of good that eth goes high and people get rich with it. Xmr has always attracted wealthy people and that is the reason I am pretty confident, ladies and gentlemen, that we will be the new elite. Someone should start a thread o  this issue. Smiley

Xmr has high potential especially when there will  be built momentum.

That's very accurate statement. The prospects of profits in xmr looks pretty appealing to my eyes.
1438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is great, but not money, which is why Poloniex has an XMR market. on: March 03, 2016, 03:30:38 PM
As an investment Etherium has been phenomenal... As a safe haven and store of value, XMR is the best.
If you think ETH has reached its peak performance, it is time probably take the profits and store them into XMR for long term. If you think ETH will still make new heights, then by all means, XMR will be here to serve Etherium community also in the future.  Smiley

Well, seeing as XMR community has been a major source of FUd against ethereum I don't really see any place for XMR in the future of crypto.

I do not know about the FUD, but I consider ETH community in a fortunate position and therefore I see XMR can help them to store their wealth privately.

Glad to see finally some breaks.
To be honest, I think Etherium will not rise much higher. It has pretty much reached its potential now.
I want sincerely congratulate all the people who made profits in Etherium and say a warm welcome to our community to roll their profits to the real safe haven.
Monero probably will go higher than Etherium. For those of you claiming Etherium could replace XMR, I do not think so and I guess the aim is not to do so... So personally I am not worried at all, actually quite the opposite - the rise of ETH has brought many new btc to Polo and I guess it is pretty easy to get decent volumes from Polo nowdays, just some trolling on trollbox and the choir starts to sing hymns of praises and the price starts to climb up. I've witnesses this all day long.  Grin
