A commodity does not need to have a value based on real time demand. It is usual to have higher value just due to hype. This is what we are having with bitcoin prices right now. Basically traders do speculate future events and pump the prices. Other than that, they will not be having any viable solution for how to trade.

It recently crashed in price and Bitcoin is holding strong on its current rate range. I would recommend to hold. There is a possibility that bitcoin next movement is uptrend. Or if you know how to do hedging do it until you reach your desired price.
Yeah I also suggest to wait until you get the price what you want in bitcoin but if you think that it may didn't happen I think it is better to withdraw it now. It is also very important that you know how to handle your bitcoin and you know how to become patient when it comes in increasing the value of bitcoin. I also join your opinion. It seems to me that the price of bitcoin will go up. But not so fast as a week ago. We will see a smooth rise in prices for several months I think bitcoin is still increasing its price faster you can check that bitcoin price was yesterday on $2150 and now bitcoin currenct price is $2400+ bitcoin still increase fast its price and I think ts will happen at the end of this year that bitcoin price will stable and increase its price slow and smooth. |

Honestly, if you're gonna buy, do it now! I think bitcoin will only continue to grow and grow, it will not fall down again. If it ever crashes, I actually doubt it'll come back to its glory as it is today.
As stated one who has the plans of buying it's good to make it at the earliest. Coming days the price keeps on increasing rather than decreasing. Once people got the chance of buying low as $2000, this is not gonna happen anymore. Speculations describe that we might experience $3000 in a month or two. I plan to buy bitcoin in high amount because bitcoin price is still better to buy because I am sure that bitcoin price will be rise to $3000 sooner in few months so it is a great chance to make a big profit and and I recommend to my all friend to buy bitcoin is much more better right now. |

If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
i think for now bitcoin is better than GOLD now i think so because we are moving on technology life so is better to invest on bitcoin it is good to keep your GOLD too for the future but bitcoin will be increase price a huge price after 10years than the GOLD Yeah you are right that bitcoin move us to technology so invest in bitcoin is very good and I consider that invest in gold is just wastage your time my few friend invest their money in gold from about five or six years and they still do not get a good profit and I invest my money in bitcoin few month before and now I get a good profit so bitcoin is much more better than gold. |

It is best to invest it online. Try investing in bitcoin. Since bitcoin's value os skyrocketing nowadays. Its not as established as gold but it has future. I think invest in bitcoin is much more better than invest in other online sites because there is a lot of people face to scam with other online sites so I agree with you that invest in bitcoin is much more profitable and if we invest our money in bitcoin and then hold it for few month then it will be very profitable and we will be get a secure and safe income in the future from bitcoin. |

Agree with you mate and it has a big help for those people who have work but the salary is not enough to compensate all the needs of their family. Like me my salary is only equal to our expenses and i do not keep any cents for savings purposes that is why i am thankful that i discover bitcoin and now i have savings from earning in bitcoin. Just like your story I have just told my young brother and I just promised him that I will pay his school from my bitcoin earning. Before I find it difficult to assist others because of the low income but now I can boldly assist. Bitcoin can help eliminate unemployment. Yeah there is a lot of people afford their family member education or other expenditure through bitcoin and bitcoin make our life too much easy a lot of unemployee people are earning good income from bitcoin and afford their daily expenditure with bitcoin so I can say that bitcoin really reduce the unemployment. |

I am sure that it’s possible for Bitcoin to have a crash that leads Bitcoin down to double digits or lower. If a crash like that happens then I think that it would only last for a second or two (Flash Crash) since the people that see the price will immediately try to purchase the coins for profit.
But I think its impossible because bitcoin price is now on a stronger stage we know bitcoin price getting much more powerful and we know that bitcoin price go to higher position day by day and a lot of people adopting bitcoin it’s the reason that bitcoin demand increasing and price also go to high value so bitcoin will never drop its price. |

I think they can try to bet so that they will also learn about gambling and they will also know the risk here. But for newbies I think it is better to use small amounts first because they are just trying. Don't use all their money immediately because they don't know the game yet.
Now lets be practical here. No one ever has a tutor to teach you gambling and the pros and cons of gambling neither would someone teach you at every step that you win then you feel good and vice versa. Come one that's pretty awkward lol and honestly if a person is in the gambling industry for a long time and knows how it works then he would really suggest to stay away from it. |

Micro-payments are currently not suitable with BTC with the huge rise, anything above $20 is possible but below is ridiculous if the fees are 10% or more of the payment.
I always considered off-chain wallets based on BTC a good optio since it will completely ignore the fees, and security won't be a problem particularly if ran by a trustworthy entity like blockchain or the like.
Yes, those ridiculous trends of bitcoin transaction fees, killing micro transaction based businesses like faucets and micro-lending. Hopefully we can get rid of this in near future when bigger blocks will be implemented. But some people are arguing it might take more time. I have nothing to do on this, other than paying to God for early solution before people are finding more fed up on these. |

nothing, but nothing, presently justifies its valuation. there's no more usage than there was a few months ago.
at the same time when you look at figures like coinbase published recently about new users and the japanese banks applying to create crypto exchanges, the weight of newcomers might well cancel out the possibility of major dumps.
it depends on whether they keep on coming and we end up with an eternal september situation. but sooner rather than later all these coins need to actually deliver something tangible.
and thread titles reminds me of two phrases - 'this time it's different' and 'new paradigm' and we all know what happens next when they're thrown around.
Yes no doubt the new comers are the main reason to make the bitcoin price from any dump as we know that the bitcoin price is determined by the number of its users and the people adopting and accepting the Bitcoin now are the main reason for the price to cross $2400. Hurrah! |

Yeah we all know directbet was the easiest and safest site to bet on sports. I would suggest you to try out cloudbet they have a nice system and coverage the only problem that occurs is because of the withdrawals as they delay a lot of withdrawals more than often. I am discussing it here since DB is closed so disussing other sites is fine now here I believe. |

I guess they really bitcoin farm in the chinese are really big farms are almost big farm miner are in there but doesnt mean they can control the value of the coin price they are controlling it but they can do it in a sense of mining share could easily minimize the bitcoin supply and storing it to the price of the bitcoin will really get affected.
This is something amazing I heard from you how does the mining share can be controlled? I really didn’t get what really you mean by it. I guess this is not easy for someone to take the control of the Bitcoin and make the supply of the Bitcoin by their own will and how they do want to. Sorry to say but I don’t really believe this phenomenon. |

The bitcoin concept somewhere matches democracy where it is said that "People are the power". Same is here with the BTC here the users are the power. Usually, when bitcoin is rising then altcoin will bleed. This time it did not happen. Altcoin seems unaffected by Bitcoin. Will these signs of bitcoin continue to rise? Many people speculate about saving some altcoins, waiting for the altcoin time to rise again. For me it is not important profit is the main one. When I get 5-10% profit I will sell it. This is situational .. in making a decision.  I appreciate your strategy to work for earnings. It is good with no need to be greedy at all for a more and more want from a single transaction. Usually people lose a chance of profit margin when they are looking for a higher one. I think it is wise to get a little profit and start the game again. |

I don't get it! why do people even assume there is the smallest possibility of a dump?!!
a business was out of business for some time, now it is reopening, that means people using that business is going to come back and start using it again.
in this case the Chinese, the trading lover Chinese, have been going through other channels to quench their thirst for trading bitcoin for the past few months, mostly on other exchanges and on localbitcoins, now their biggest exchanges are coming back. of course they will come back to them and start their trading there.
People tend to speculate positively, so I guess bitcoin trading will increase again in China as they always do. But I'm a little worry about dump after pump such as happened before. We're on good situation right now where Japan and Korean exchanges lead the trading market. But, it's kinda weird if withdrawal has been discontinued for some time but Huobi and bttc trading volume also increase during last rally even surpassed some big exchanges. It may a good sign that they are excited to be involved, don't want to missed the opportunity. Being a user and an investor in the field of the Bitcoin a little worry at this stage is ok because you have invested a capital in it a little dump in the price can affect for you but just for the time only. I think those people who understands the scope of the bitcoin in the long range will not be worried too much because they are well aware of the potential of the Bitcoin and its future. |

I think it boils down to the demand and supply of bitcoins on the market which is the main determinant of Bitcoin prices and so it's powerful these days because there's an increased demand for it globally and everyone seems to want to join the train to make profits therefore it's becoming powerful.
Yup, that's right, I think that the major factor driving bitcoin to moon now a days is that the bitcoins are legalized in Japan and most of the Japanese people invest their money so they have found a new investment and it is a good one watching that a bitcoin was about $0.008 in start and now it is over $2k, so they can see huge gains with little investment and also supply is limited to only twenty one million coins only, so less coins and more demand.... One of the biggest reason why it goes up over these past years is because of this forum, there are thousands of people trying to get some bitcoin using these forum, and know that there are different ways to earn bitcoin and some are already in here. Giving the information they need about not just bitcoin but altcoins too, so basically this forum does some huge impact regarding bitcoin market, this forum expands the demand and made it to a different level. I wouldn't think that it's a "big" reason at all. Bitcointalk has been here ever since. I think that all information and all dramas about bitcoin and altcoins are already here. All the FUDS, different type of scams, and the trolls are also here. You can say that this forum is where people freely post stuffs since (let's face it) moderation has always been a problem here. I see people here and there posting FUDs as if they are just casually stating facts about bitcoin. I think the purpose of bitcointalk to the bitcoin world is that it gives people hope. It gives people the idea that at least there's one forum that's really really active even though the major reason why this forum is so active is because of signature campaign. Well beside every FUD, dramas and scams and whatever may be is here but one thing that no one can deny that this forum is the best platform not only to understand and find accurate answers to your queries about the bitcoin but also about the Alts. I am glade to state my example for your information. I came to this forum as a lay man and today I am proudly saying that I am one of the successful trader and earning a handsome amount because of the learnings from this forum. |

Best bitcoin sources nowadays maybe trading and signature campaign, although i haven't try trading but ill give it a shot 1 day but i need some investments to roll, Trading is a serious job that's why i keep on researching to learn the basics and techniques.
although gambling is also a best source of bitcoin but it is so much risky way of earning bitcoin, to me in present time the best option of earning bitcoin is trading altcoin, from where one can really make such a good profit in a a safe way. No I do not think that gambling is a source of income if you are talking about the players/gamblers as gambling is only a source of fun and if someone will want to gamble then he will gamble for fun and the money he win sometimes is their reward while if you are talking about the casino owners then in that case yes it is also a source of bitcoin earning. Gambling is a source of income not only for the casino owners but the share holders also also earning the money like the owners if a casino is offering shares to the investors and if the casino is a good and is earning good then the investors who have shares of that casino will also earn from there. Yeah gambling is source of income too but i do not think that gambling is the permanent and regular source to get income because sometimes i feel that gambling is very hard way to earn bitcoin but there is a lot of way to get free bitcoin like as online tasks , faucets , trading etc . |

Seeing the growth rates of previous years, holding a Bitcoin is a real great way to make money. Holding them for 3 to 4 years can increase your principal amount many times.
yeah a lot of people holding their bitcoin for long time and you are right that its great way to make a big profit from bitcoin and people strongly believe in bitcoin price that bitcoin price increasing too much faster because people holding bitcoin for the future. i agree with you about holding bitcoin for long time , i think that holding bitcoin for 2 or 3 years will be profitable because bitcoin price increasing too much faster and i hope bitcoin price will be $4000 in the next year so hold your bitcoin is much more better for our future. |
