Well, I learned a lesson:  Totally panic-dumping Bitcoin may portend randomly attacking someone who is aggrieved at the disappearance of a friend—attacking him for being aggrieved—when that someone who has never personally offended him, has always been friendly toward him.  Now, that was “pulling a mindrust!”

Doubly sad that I didn’t buy mindrust’s coins.  If I had, I would offer them back to him later at a moderate penalty for the panic.  I almost want to give him some Bitcoin, a trivial amount, just to stop him from being a nocoiner.  My problem is that in a few years, that “trivial amount” may look like jojo’s old $13/BTC sales.  Yes, I hoard.

It's probably about 50/50, which is too close for my comfort. It depends on whether the dems or repubs are more fired up at that point. If Biden is the president elect, the repubs might be motivated enough to get out more of the vote, and dump more money into that race.

after the states sort it out, dec 14 is when the electors vote (i think). so its not official till then. thats IF they vote the way they were instructed.

Laughable, because the same ppl who do not want to concede earlier wanted to declare themselves the winner, bypassing all the legalities. Again comes down to risk vs. return. There's little to no personal downside, but the upside is becoming a president (even if the odds of that at this point are less that 0,000001%). The problem is that lack of personal downside doesn't mean that there's no downside at all. The cost of these shenanigans is bared by the division of the country, and radicalizing his base already going through the stages of grief (currently looks like still in denial). Convincing people that are already on edge that something is being stolen from them might push some radicals over to spill blood. Which is not good for anyone but expected behavior for people with sociopathic tendencies.
