642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: Dash Pool ? on: October 26, 2017, 08:02:21 AM
I will Start with suprnova, but what for a payment adress i need in the Account settings?

Can i enter my Kraken Dash deposit adress?
What is the DARK payout minimum on the settings tab? I mine Dash and no Dark :-)

Can anybody explain the payout adress and Dark topic?

Best Regards
Willi

Yes, you can enter your Kraken Address there. Min payout is the min payout you'd like to see debits ... For for example as soon as you have 0.01 DASH it will be paid to your address. Or you can leave funds on the pool and send them as soon as you reach 0.1 DASH.

Don't matter about DARK, it's the former notation of DASH, it's just there because the pool is very old and old users added their DARK address (which is now a DASH address Smiley)

644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: XZC optimised ccminer (full hashrate reporting and +30% income) on: October 24, 2017, 05:02:06 PM
The trick was "submit stale share"

djm34 version's already done that. https://github.com/djm34/ccminer-msvc2015/releases/tag/v0.2.1
tpruvot's 2.2.2 must use "--submit-stale" to work as well.  https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases/tag/2.2.2-tpruvot

If the pool accepts stale shares, it's a bad configured pool, you're getting paid for work which is obsolete...

Anybody knows why getting this rejects on suprnova?

That's fine, it's a new block and the old shares from the previous around have invalid - therefore the boo's

suggestion what if somebody creates a btcz miner and like ewbf certain % goes to the developer , what if we make use of that fee to get us listed on those exchanges that requires payment.

That is briliant. Someone sent email to suprnova about a special fee for development and no response. Then pcmining.xyz introduced that fee but miners are just not joining. This could change things...

Seems like a good idea worth looking into.

Dunno who sent that email to me, but I didn't receive a mail about "special fee for development".

However, I don't think this should be MY (or the pool's) decision, the miners should decide if they want to donate for development or not, i'm just running the pool. I can post a text in the header of the pool with an address of the dev's where donations should/can go to if that would help...
Ocminer I sent you an email from supernova pool BitcoinZ where I was logged in my names stealth on pool,I asked if you would offer option to donate 0.5% from pool earning towards dev fund and if you could highlight miners who are mining with this option like you do for pool donations with the small icon on mining page,we didn’t here back from you and thought that strange as I know you are responsive to community, maybe there is a problem with your pool PM service? This was to be completely voluntary with no pressure on miners to donate but most know the importance of getting BitcoinZ on larger exchanges, thanks mate.

Hmm, maybe I'm getting too many support mails there, but I'll check again.

Sure, I can add an option for that, however I often have promos on the pool where mining is completely free for 0% fee etc, so from the "pool earnings" it's probably not really much which could help.. It would be better if miners could directly donate a certain amount of coins for the exchange addition. When reading through the last posts though it seems not many are interested if that would happen directly from the pool, so maybe a different approach for that would be better.. Maybe a twitter/slack campaign or so ? I can add a text to the header on the pool referring to a certain post in this thread or on the homepage which then again refers to the exchange addition bounty.. Maybe it helps.

any possibility you can make the wallet work on testnet ?

I'd do some testing before launch ...

Code:
src/bgoldd -daemon -testnet
bgoldd: crypto/common.h:138: int init_and_check_sodium(): Assertion `crypto_sign_verify_detached(sig, message, sizeof(message), pk) != 0' failed.
Aborted

Bump....

bump once more.. any dev here ?

I don't think this thread was started by anyone from bitcoin gold so probably not will you be supporting this once its finished and ready for launch

Hmm.. But how's anyone testing if there's nothing to test with, and "the fork" (tm) is in four days ? Smiley) Usually you'd test a week or so at least prior to launch Smiley

I know it's cutting it close but the chain snapshot is only happening on the 25th the release date will be after this last I heard it will be 1st November but I am expecting delays contact support@btcgpu.org they may be able to help you further and also get you listed on the website

Yes, the snapshot etc. is fine, but since fork involves some parameters different than the original, testing is needed to get everything set up and working correctly prior to the launch.. Otherwise it'll be just a trainwreck or fork-o-rama .. or whatever when it launches.. I see for example the block header structure seems different than bitcoin and zcash, so it'd need testnet to get some blocks built and sent to the wallet for acceptance/rejectance etc..

MMh.. I don't care about the website listing but I'll try to open a ticket on their github..

EDIT: Oh and the premine isn't mentioned here (or on the website) either.. or am I blind ? Smiley

Is contact form working on dash.suprnova.cc? I sent two times support mail in order to lower withdrawal limits for DASH, and received nothing. After difficulty spike on X11, small miners like me can not reach current withdrawal limit. Any chance to change that?

I've lowered it to 0.01 DASH !

@ocminer
Not sure if it was asked already here... anyways: do you have any kind of APIs on your pools, so I can pull the data from the account?

Of course, google for "MPOS API"

Please add 8192 diff port on MONA pool.

i'm sending so many hashes and i don't want that vardiff port (so pain full to see lots of invalid share caused by diff changes).

You can use the nicehash Port (3000)
