441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: $LBC Lbry.io LbryCredits Pool lbry.suprnova.cc on: January 15, 2018, 11:56:19 AM

I'm having trouble at LbryCoin's pool.
I reset the PIN but the same does not arrive in my email.
Calm down, I'll explain before I can see the SPAM box,
I have already checked and received no email from SuprNova, but if I entered another algorithm and requested the PIN or the PIN I receive, but the PIN of the other Algorithm does not fit the Libry
could you verify ?
problem email

planetamotos_@hotmail.com

Grateful !!!!

Write a mail to admin at suprnova.cc and include a gmail address because hotmail blocks all mails from the pool

TO ALL MINERS OF ZERO

Kindly use ONLY the specific mining software links provided in the first page of this ANN

Zero TEAM has IDENTIFIED some serious problems in the latest releases of the mining software
In most cases the versions after Optiminer 2.0 have been reported to give 50% less solutions leading to smaller rewards

People using the software in the first page of this ANN have the correct full solutions

Also Zero Team announces NEW PROTECTED Community Pool with 0% fee (initially) to be released very very soon

Why Protected?
Because unfortunately in this crypto world some people need our protection

DM

there is no good news in this days, suprnova hide fee and unique software for mining zero reported 50% of less solutions and not work with nvidia cards  Huh Huh
why protected pool?  what kind of protection? should i stop mining?

Nothing was hidden, it's perfectly fine visible in your transaction list, i just forgot to remove the message in the dashboard.

I'll leave https://zero.suprnova.cc running, closing is not necessary anymore and fee is now 0 % Smiley

I dont want to indicate anything, but the fact is that you intentionally or unintentionally mislead people to mine on suprnova with this comment you posted earlier...
It clearly says that fee will be 0%, but it dont say that it only for certain amount of time. . Some people dont even look at transaction list and that is not the point. The point is that i dont see any comment/update from you that fee will no longer be 0%
Dont get me wrong, i am thankful to all you guys who are managing pools for us to mine, im just sayin' that things needs to be more transparent.

There was a big announcement on www.suprnova.cc along with a red message next to every pool "0 % fee" and also from my twitter I've posted that there will be 0 % fee for all miners from 24. December until the next year. I actually let that bonus run for a few more days and removed it shortly after new year along with all the message, the only message where I forgot to remove it was on the zero pool. This simpy proves that I'm a human and things can be forgotten Smiley However it was nothing hidden at all, as all the transactions are transparently listed on the transactions page. And hey, it's 1% .. it's not 5% or 10%.. It's 1% after a lengthy 0% fee period.. And its now AGAIN 0% fee.. It's really unmotivating how much this forum turned into a cesspool, everyone attacks other people and seeks for flaws/mistakes - this issue could also been handled by just pm'ing me and I'd instantly eitehr remove the message or turn back on 0% fee but instead you get almost blackmailed with a ridiculous "i have proof / evidence" post by a hero member that there's a 1% fee applied on the public transaction page of the pool.. can't be more ridiculous than that.. Other pools go down for hours where miners simply mine hot air or are completely misconfigured and never find a block an no one complains...

It's only a matter of time untill the last honest people here are completely gone and "you" (not specifically addressed to the previous poster) remain under yourselves IMHO. You can already see lots of established, honest people don't post here anymore and lots of newbie accounts roll in...

I've lowered fee, min withdrawal and confirmations on https://btx.suprnova.cc. Due to the increasing difficulty and hoppers i've also switched to PPLNS payout scheme which seems to work much more stable for miners than Prop when I look over the last hours.

have fun mining, guys

I hope we get to hear the reason for this 2 hour network outage. It seemed to affect all pools, not just bitocrepool.cc
Suprnova found a block but were on a wrong difficulty, while bitcorepool and yiimp were on the right difficulty but their blocks were rejected. It seems it was a wrong blocktemplate config on suprnova or something like that that caused it. I am sure @ocminer can explain better.

In simple words: I've configured stratum correctly, the others not Smiley :-P

You guys might want to spread hash a little around so not the whole network goes down when one pool has a problem ;-)
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ZERO - COMMUNITY TAKEOVER on: January 14, 2018, 07:17:09 PM
It's very interesting that suprnova hasn't replied to my post regarding the fee issue...

I would also appreciate an official response from the zero team.

A short time ago, some community members reacted against imposing a 1% fee towards Zero maintenance, development and promotion costs.

Well it looks like suprnova has already imposing a fee behind the miners back! And most miners had no idea!

Wouldn't it far better to introduce an official Zero pool collecting this fee, rather than a dishonest private pool depriving from the zero team this significant source of income that would help the coin flourish?

Oops sorry, this forum is far too "loud" to read every single post, you could just PM me if you have anything important.

I'm sorry I simply forgot to remove the 0 % fee ad on the frontpage which I had during the holidays btw also on a lot of other suprnova pools. Usually it was only planned to have the fee removed from 24. December to 02. January but I've removed it on the pool now. If 1 % is too much for you, you can simply switch to a different pool but keep in mind that also miners itself take a certain fee.

All the stats are public, so you can simply click on "Transactions" and see the fee, there's nothing to hide there. You can also choose your payout cycle yourself.. You can payout every minute, every hour or every day.. Or only when you hit a certain limit of coins on the pool...

Any of you who keep getting  reject reason: Low difficulty share when mining with ccminer? Im trying to mine through https://btx.suprnova.cc/ but it just doesnt work...

You're using the wrong algo

Any way to contact them or get this fixed? I'd prefer not to mine elsewhere like suprnova since miningpool earned me more as they find a lot more blocks than others and i liked being able to cash out sooner.

Write them a mail Smiley

However your payout is the same on a big pool or on a smaller pool since your hashrate is the same. Confirmations on Suprnova are also lower than on other pools so you'll get the coins earlier.

Well either way i ran on suprnova for 2 days and i earned a lot more after i switched to miningpool. And min cashout on suprnova is .1 while its .0021 on miningpool.

If your hashrate is the same and you're not using nicehash that's nearly impossible.. you should earn more because it's a PPLNS pool which pays more to regular miner with stable hashrate. I've lowered the min payout if this really is a problem.

I use the EWBF miner and yeah i didn't like nicehash miner. Well maybe i'll give suprnova one more shot for another day or so but the earnings definitely werent as good as MPH for the last week i've been using them.

If your hashrate is the same.. that's not possible Smiley

From what I see a super big miner, probably a very large farm (Genesis?) Jumped in and the Network might have forked off a little. Also two of my backup nodes are stalled. The main node and the pool is fine, they're on the high hash chain
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zcoin (XZC) - Implementing Zerocoin technology for financial privacy on: January 14, 2018, 10:43:23 AM
Hello, yesterday there was an attack on MINING POOL HUB, and for many hours did not mining Zcoin and I saw some strange things about the hash-rate and the difficulty of Zcoin.
In fact, the pool went to zero as hashrate while on https://explorer.zcoin.io/
was it a 145 gb/s hasrate like never (minin pool hub has almost 100% of zcoin hasshrate)? moreover the difficulty did not come down even though they were mined blocks every hour ...

I believe that the calculation of the hashrate of Zcoin does not work well and therefore also the difficulty ...

I saw that too, maybe they cheated, they can do what they want with the coin with >90% of the total hashrate.

More people should switch to other pools but no one actually does

zcoin devs are long overdue with the algo change but as long as they get their reward portion from every block they don't seem to care

I think you are aware of the difficulties faced with the initial version of MTP.

The new paper of MTPv1.2 is now finalized and will be published by the authors shortly. Lyra2z was MEANT to be a transition algorithm.

Don't focus on MTP, there are plenty of other algo possibilities, when your transition time even last longer, fix it by adding another transition into an algo which is not exploitable by botnets as it is currently.

Hey guys,

i'm closing sgl.suprnova.cc due to the same problems this coin fork had with the coin it was forked from - TZC: The wallet randomly crashes, forks, transactions are not being sent correctly and stay unconfirmed, balance simply "vansishes" with random errors...

I dont't want to babysit a coin the whole day and I don't think this will be fixed any time soon as it wasn't with TZC already.

Please move over to the other pools and withdraw your remaining funds !

Thanks

@Sigil-Developer
yesterday i tried the first time to send some mined coins from pool to my sigil wallet (Linux/Ubuntu 17.04). Wallet is stable
and it seems that it synced - last Block was the last mined block.
But after hours my coins didn't arrive. Are there any problems atm at transfer? Which time does it normally take?
When everything synced my coins should be on the wallet - why is balance still Zero? Thanks for helping.

Which pool did you mine on? It's not a blockchain problem, but a pool problem.

My wallet is also starting to crash. Is this forked from TZC ? That coin had a similar issue

Yep, it's a TZC fork. I did notice the issue when I was looking on some older threads but thought I had fixed the issue, being that it was thought to be through staking throughput and its use of resources. Weird though that I can't get the issue to be reproduced on any of my compiled wallets, either on Windows, Mac, or Linux.

If your wallet keeps crashing, try and disable staking by clicking "Tools"/"Disable PoS Mining". I'll look at it further and try to reproduce the error.

Staking is disabled already, it still crashes. Only "fix" is to re-import the privkey into a fresh wallet and after a certain amount of time, probably the min staking time, it crashes again.. So you need to keep doing this over and over again.. That was the reason I delisted TZC some time ago as AFAIK it isn't fixed until today there

Interesting. Okay, next crash could you send me your debug.log file? I'll try to get to the bottom of this.

No error in the debug log and nothing on the console either when in crashed.. nothing at all - exactly the same like with TZC
