241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Exchange for 2018 on: March 01, 2018, 12:02:56 PM
Binance is the best Exchange-2018, try it and you will like it!

I agree with you. I used to trade on bittrex but binance is very fast ad with much more altcoins....

a lot of users were trading on bittrex but since they turned into a shady exchange while scamming their users, a lot of them stopped using that place and migrated to other exchanges. the biggest one was Binance and Poloniex.
242  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin after Chinese holiday on: March 01, 2018, 11:06:51 AM
For the past few weeks there has been speculations that Bitcoin will rise and face the uptrend after Chinese holiday and now the holiday is over, will bitcoin start going up and up again?

China doesn't have that much influence on the price anymore! And before that it was mostly wash trading.
So forget about China. They are only big in mining. But that's pretty much it.
Their exchanges have stopped operating or moved to other jurisdictions.
I'm not sure how big their OTC market is, but imo it won't have any effect on the exchange prices.
Have an eye on South Korea and Japan! This is where adoption is happening big and quick.

it is true that China doesn't have any effect on bitcoin. and i even believe that China never had that much effect on bitcoin anyways. the only thing that does have an effect is the NEWS and it doesn't matter from where it comes. it just happens that most of the time this NEWS comes from China and it is always FUD and effective so you have to keep an eye on it.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should continue to stay in a low price! on: March 01, 2018, 10:55:40 AM
i prefer neither of these things you are talking about.

instead i want a bitcoin that is adopted by people who understand it and don't busy themselves with silly notions which are waste of their time such as market cap, low or high price,....
if you start getting more familiar with bitcoin you will also stop asking these silly questions and know that low price is not possible anymore. Wink
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it bad to own and control over 1,100,000 Bitcoins? on: March 01, 2018, 10:50:58 AM
if "I" say that I am Bill Gates, will you believe me or will you ask for a poof?

the same thing is true when some asshole scammer claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto. we ask him for proof. and since not only he failed to provide the proof but also evaded every request in a shady way, that means he is NOT satoshi and does not own the coins that he claims to own. he is indeed a scammer who might have bought bitcoin at some point or stolen some from some poor soul.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BTCP] BitcoinPrivate: A Truly Private Bitcoin [Equihash] on: February 28, 2018, 12:52:53 PM
i am curous to know whether Yobit.net is going to support this fork or not, they have not said anything about it so far and i have some small amount of bitcoin there, i want to know whether to deposit more or withdraw that amount based on the answer here?
thanks.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Will Kill Cash ? Is this True on: February 28, 2018, 12:40:59 PM
i have no idea what the bold part means.
but i don't think decentralized cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin can kill the centralized fiat. fiat as we know it may change form and become a cryptocurrency but the "cash" or paper money will always exist and be used the same way that fiat turned into digital form with debit cards, credit cards and internet banking but cash still exists.
247  Economy / Speculation / Re: What would be the signs a big dip is coming on: February 28, 2018, 12:16:44 PM
the easiest sign of an upcoming big dip is a big rise!

for example if you look at the charts you can see that every time there is a rise, it is followed by a big drop immediately after it. for example price goes up 100% then it drops 30%. this is also known as a correction which happens to be big in bitcoin since the rises are too fast and too big.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JPMorgan Admits Cryptocurrency Is a 'Risk' to its Business on: February 28, 2018, 12:04:04 PM
Ethereum is more of a threat to JP Morgan than bitcoin. A regulated ICO platform would allow legit businesses to raise new capital easily without paying eye-watering fees to the likes of JP Morgan to create an Initial Public Offering (IPO).

The bulk of JP morgan's fees come from IPO fees, forex dealings and from investment banking fees. Ethereum takes the leg out of the first.

And then there is bitcoin, which means you don't need to bother with forex.

JP Morgan is looking at a shrunken future.

since bitcoin will soon have smart contracts for free then if these shitty ICOs are the real threat to them then bitcoin will be a much bigger threat to them. specially since there will be no fees for smart contracts using RSK on bitcoin!

additionally i disagree that it will shrink their future. you say they earn money from forex dealings,... then there is nothing stopping them from entering bitcoin markets and make the same fees there....
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin As a subject in school on: February 28, 2018, 11:50:59 AM
I do not think that teaching bitcoin in schools would be apropriate.  Maybe of it will be discussed as topic then it is okay.  But as a subject a big no for me.  Anyone can understand bitcoin.  There is no need for us to have one hour everyday to undersrand it.  Unless we wanted to have a degree in computer related courses.

i actually think it is not a bad idea.
and it is not just bitcoin, it starts with bitcoin but also such classes should cover the blockchain technology. and it doesn't have to a semester or a full on course. it can be one of those 1 day workshops on bitcoin and the technology to introduce and educate them about this new technology which is becoming more and more popular every day.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taiwanese Central Bank Sees Future In Blockchain For Payment Systems on: February 28, 2018, 11:44:24 AM
it feels like ever since Venezuela released their useless centralized ICO coin and apparently have the potential of making a lot of money from idiots, every other country like them, are trying to get involved with cryptocurrencies!
once i thought it is only lazy scammer individuals that copy paste the projects but now it seems like every country is doing it...
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Etherium Classic - Callisto airdop 5th of March 2018 on: February 27, 2018, 11:10:05 AM
This will definetely influence the value of ETC. By the way, I also think that ETC will grow in 2018 and was on my list.

I will definetely will put a part of my next crypto invest into ETC.

ETC is growing already and is still continue growing. What I feared is it is already in ATH and what's next after the fork? I want to believe it continues to grow even up to $100.

there is a good chance we will see a little drop right after this is ended but it will probably be a bear trap before the next wave of rise starts. although it is pretty hard to predict altcoins but i am going to keep an eye out for such patterns and jump in at the bottom of it if possible.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Venezuela is about to launch a free cryptocurrency course for every citizen! on: February 27, 2018, 10:29:18 AM
this is awesome to see some countries exist that are taking this whole cryptocurrency thing very seriously and are not just playing around of it thinking if they ignore it then it will go away! just like what some big countries are doing right now.

and guess which countries are going to be the leading ones in this field in a couple of years from now?
soon the meaning of "developed countries" can also change.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoins For Long Term - BTC Cash, ETH And Litecoin on: February 27, 2018, 10:00:51 AM
just because some altcoins are on top of some arbitrary list it doesn't mean they are also good investments. it just means that particular list is sorted in a way that it lists them on top of it.

i can make a list based on alphabetic order, volume, number of exchanges, number of coins in circulation, number of tweets, transaction volume,... and each of these have a new coin on top 3 but none of these will be a good investment.

there are gems hidden away at the bottom of these lists that are giving HUGE profit to people who stop limiting themselves to TOPX coins.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💰💰 Mark Zuckerberg says Facebook will look into cryptocurrency on: February 27, 2018, 09:44:39 AM
they most probably banned cryptocurrency related advertisement on their platform because they wanted to eliminate the "competition" of shitcoins with their centralized shitcoin which they will probably create in the near future and push on to all their users on their crappy platform.

the good side of it is that they will introduce the technology to a lot of people and then they will see the better options such as bitcoin through their crappy option. so in the end bitcoin is the winner of it Cheesy
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You can now buy a house in Britain using the cryptocurrency Bitcoin on: February 27, 2018, 09:33:15 AM
this has always been a bit strange to me that there usually are these "big things" you can buy with bitcoin. like real estate for example! that is a lot of money and if someone has that much bitcoin they usually are not willing to give that much up at this price specially. if price was $100k maybe but not at $10k.
or maybe some people with a large sum of bitcoin may do that but there aren't that many people with a lot of bitcoin in their wallets.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA a best investment to put $1000? on: February 23, 2018, 06:51:26 AM
IOTA is a good coin to invest in but $1000 may be a little bit too much to invest in it, specially right now that the market is not at its best shape and the prices are dropping all around it.
if you really think it can go up in the long run and be worth a lot more than its current price then do it, otherwise i would suggest waiting more for the bottom and then investing in it then to enjoy the recovery or possibly follow up pump.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is holding for 1 year considered short term or long term? on: February 23, 2018, 06:39:57 AM
it depends on a lot of things.
mainly, what coin?
bitcoin is the only thing that i consider worthy of long term investment and long term in that context is 1 year or more. it can be 10 years too.
but altcoins i do not trust as long term. for them any long term is 1 month tops, nothing more.

also it depends on the strategy that you are using.
as a trader, long term hold means nothing. and in altcoin market if you hold, you lose. but if you trade daily and stay in each altcoin for a short time of their pump then you make a lot of profit.
258  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins' pullback is over! on: February 23, 2018, 06:28:10 AM
We could be facing another pullback at the moment. Hopefully the support will hold.

unfortunately that is not something that you could predict at this point. everything pointed towards end of the "pullback" and start of a nice solid rise but out of nowhere price started dropping again. it may continue like this through the weekend and reverse upwards on Monday.
probably some whales trying to test the bottom and buy some more cheap coins before the shoot up.
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto-Mining Malware Found on 4000+ Sites on: February 23, 2018, 06:08:07 AM
this is a strange news and the source of it is a blog post so it is hard to talk about its validity! it is hard to believe that UK and US government agencies websites have a altcoin mining script running on it without them knowing it already! and some random dude figures it out!

these scripts are not really something advanced and complicated. it is easy to detect and we are not talking about some low security website here with newbie admins.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What needs to happen for Ethereum to overtake Bitcoin? on: February 22, 2018, 02:18:12 PM
that is something that will never in a million years going to happen and your question has no answer even if we try. people are saying some stuff but none of it makes any sense in my opinion.

and you are all forgetting the first thing: extremely huge supply of ETH compared to bitcoin. and also no cap. these two alone will ensure that ETH will never grow more than a certain level.
