221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding is bullshit? on: March 09, 2018, 11:23:18 AM
you are half way there to success. you have already gained this valuable experience that you should not hold altcoins for long term because this is what will happen to you if you do.

now all you need to do is to find an alternative strategy to make profit from altcoins. and that strategy starts with first finding good altcoins that are not already in a bubble but instead are getting ready for a rise.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: March - bullish month? on: March 09, 2018, 04:53:40 AM
i still think March is going to be more bullish than previous 2 months. and this recent small drop i not going to change anything about that. it is just postponing everything a little bit. it may even be the last phase of getting ready for the next rise and that is why there is more FUD right now than before.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price decreases 1000$ within a hour on: March 09, 2018, 04:47:23 AM
Bitcoin price decreases 1000$ within a hour.
in other words, just another normal day in volatile bitcoin market...

Some my friends said that it could be dump to around 6k$, even 4k$
What do you think?

that "friend" of yours is an idiot because there is no way we can predict this. it may or may not happen as much as it may go up to $19000. the chances are the same.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning: Scammed by receiving a Private Key on: March 08, 2018, 01:17:00 PM
taking advantage of other people's greedy nature is the oldest trick in the books. it has always been like this. ages ago (and i still sometimes see this) there was a common scam where they called you saying you have won something from our store, like one of those big supermarkets and they told you, you have won a toaster for example. then they asked you that in order to receive the reward you have to make a payment, write a check or something to cover the "costs". then you made the payment and the reward never came!
225  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin crash on: March 08, 2018, 12:34:57 PM
has dropped 6.15% so as a result of this,
i think you made a calculation error but in any case 6%-10% drops are really nothing for bitcoin to even be considered a "drop" they are usually normal ups and downs.

What's happening? What was the issue of binance because they're saying that they'll investigate because users are having issues with their funds?
maybe Binance was a part of it but i believe it was mostly the same trend as before as price keeps going up to near $12k and drops to above $9k. it is stuck in this range for a while now.
226  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC predection in 2018 on: March 08, 2018, 09:33:40 AM
next time instead of writing a big wall of text of numbers which will take a long time to read and grasp, you should simply draw a chart. it is super easy, you can use either excel or tradingview.com for more options and that way it will be much easier to say what you are predicting and we can simply grasp it too.

right now all i see is that you are expecting a very strange kind of volatility out of bitcoin which to be honest doesn't seem possible at all! specially because i am one of those people who speculates that as soon as price breaks $12k and starts going up the speed will be so much faster and we won't see much retracements either.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance again ? the hacker is more smarter this time! on: March 08, 2018, 08:48:28 AM
Binance been hacked again,,,, the hacker dumped all altcoins to BTC, and then use those BTC to pump VIA  (I don't know this coin) from $0.000225 to $0.025!

you seem to be very new to altcoin markets so welcome aboard.

these pumps are very common and are happening every single day for at least a couple of altcoins (usually at least 3) when pumpers pump them from some very low price like 10 satoshi up to 10000 satoshi even!
they certainly don't need a hacker to hack and pump a shitcoin. and a hacker won't gain anything to pump that shitcoin they gain anything if they withdraw.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Cryptocurrencies You Should Be Following on: March 08, 2018, 07:38:07 AM
since i am a trader and because i am interested in making profit and not bag holding i prefer to watch the market instead of following some altcoins that have some fake market  capitalization thanks to their huge premined supply like ethereum.

what i watch is the potential of a pump and whenever i find something like that i make my move and invest as much bitcoin in them as i think the risk management allows and enjoy the profit they give me in short term on my bitcoins.

i have tried bag holding big names before but it never worked for me. sometimes they get some pumps and give me some profit but in comparison that profit is too tiny and with a lot of risks.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or ETH in 2018 on: March 08, 2018, 07:19:04 AM
2018... still year of BTC... I don't think that Ethereum will beat a beast yet. Maybe 2020-2021 ETC will go up and up and i'm pretty sure btc will fall down before end. save my post and check in 2022  Roll Eyes

right now bitcoin supply is ~16.8 million while eth supply is around 100 million.
in a couple of years bitcoin supply will be 17.5-18 million while ETH supply will be around 300 million.

the demand for bitcoin is the demand for it as a currency and also as a secure store of value that is decentralized too. so as more people and more merchants adopt it the demand grows.
the demand for ETH doesn't exist apart from ICO creation and at some point people will stop investing in any ICO as the number of scams grows out of hand like what happened with premined coins and ETH will lose that demand.

now a simple comparison:
bitcoin: small supply with a slow small growth + high demand with a huge increase in demand = huge price
ethereum: huge supply with a  fast creation rate and no cap + low demand and mostly hype = dropping price
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stop worrying people, nothing cant stop this anymore on: March 07, 2018, 06:29:29 AM
that is true but unfortunately the biggest part of this "whole crypto" that you are so excited about is a lot of useless copy past shitcoins and these days shittokens that are being created to scam newbies out of their money and become rich from their gullibility and that HAS TO stop. so in fact that "830 bil" is mostly newbie money that is poured into these shitcoins and will get out just as fast as it has been in the past 2 months.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Waves hit 100 USD in 2018? on: March 07, 2018, 05:31:29 AM
$100 is a very far away target for Waves in my opinion although i think it is a possible target for it to reach. it is not a bad project at all and it has the potential of rising but to get there fast it needs a big pump and right now the market is not ready for any kind of pump and thanks to big pumped altcoins things are getting dumped more than anything else.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeepOnion Comparison Chart on: March 07, 2018, 05:18:44 AM
correct me if i am wrong but this table is intentionally ignoring one extremely important factor when it is comparing different anonymous coins.
and that factor is the fact that anonymity is optional in DeepOnion while it is on by default in Monero. and what this means is that you can not call DeepOnion fungible which is a big downside in an anon coin.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much can you make day trading? on: March 07, 2018, 04:54:15 AM
there really isn't any limits on how much profit you can make when it comes to trading altcoins. it can be from -100% (or losing everything) up to 10000% pure profit. and this is in fact why this market is considered highly risky and it is also because of the many manipulations that take place in this market.

if you are already familiar with the market and have been successful so far and also if you are a careful trader not a reckless one, i'd say a 5% profit daily or at least every 2 days is a reasonable thing.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Birthday gift ideas: which 3 fun altcoins to choose? (Jesuscoin, Dogecoin ... ) on: March 07, 2018, 04:33:10 AM
if your "bro" knows what altcoins are then giving him Doge is the best choice. it is easy, cheap and it exists everywhere. i don't know about Jesuscoin but there are a lot of weird name coins if you like and as a prank it can be fun to use some of them. like ANAL, GAY,... and these coins often exist on Yobit.net Cheesy

if your "bro" doesn't know what cryptocurrency is then giving him altcoins is not going to even be fun. specially shitcoins! just give him some bitcoin which is the easiest thing to do.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin joined at the hip? on: March 07, 2018, 04:12:58 AM
in my opinion there is no logical answer to this question and it is not just ETH and LTC. as far as i can tell every altcoin is following bitcoin and it is actually mostly visible during the drops not the rises.

for example when bitcoin went from $8000 to $20,000 in a month last year, altcoins went up but only a little bit.
but when bitcoin fell drop $20,000 down to $8000 altcoins dropped harder, each losing 60%-80% of their value.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Todays top 5 ranking of Cryptocurrencies on: March 02, 2018, 09:07:57 AM
what makes these coins "top"?
so far based on the picture and your comment you consider these "top" just because they are on top of some pointless list and also because you have an investment in them.

the fact is, apart from bitcoin none of these have been the "top" coin specially  today.
take a look at Nexus for example. it had a very high volume today and it rose >140%
there are a lot more of these actually. Tron, FunFair, Komodo,... even small/shit coins like Lepen Sacoin, Cashcoin,... had huge rises.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you guys think?? on: March 02, 2018, 08:48:13 AM
that is a plausible thought.

i would like to change it a little though. it is possible that in March we see both bitcoin and altcoins rise initially each rising small amounts. bitcoin starting its rally and altcoins having some recovery.
then it will be followed by bitcoin continuing its rally and rising more while altcoins stopping after that small initial rise and continue dropping down (getting dumped).
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin High Transaction Fees on: March 02, 2018, 08:37:52 AM
When bitcoin rises transaction fees rises in dollars. Is that cause for reduce bitcoin users future?

IF fees rise with bitcoin price rise, for example if in 5 years price is $1 million dollar per bitcoin and fees for a transaction is $100 then yeah it will reduce the number of bitcoin users and price wouldn't even go that high if that happens.

BUT remember that things can change. for example capacity can increase in a way that you don't have to pay higher fees. and the fees can reduce to 1 satoshi and with $1 million per BTC that is only $0.01 fee which is acceptable.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth having more than one hardware/paper wallet if you hold just one curr on: March 02, 2018, 08:29:54 AM
you won't get any additional security if you have more than one hardware wallet as long as there are no bugs in their software. if there is a bug then yeah having more than one means the bug may be exploited while you are using the one and you will lose the funds in that one hardware wallet and the other one will remain intact if you don't use it. but that is "paranoid thinking" in my opinion. you can keep up with the news and be careful with the way you use your wallet. of course bugs are rare but they happen.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Reason why you need to consider investing in ethereum rather than bitcoin!!! on: March 01, 2018, 12:16:35 PM
you should always invest in something that has potential. and both bitcoin and ethereum have potential but there is the big difference:

bitcoin:
a currency with real adoption among merchants and is used in real world for things other than speculation

ethereum:
purely hype and speculation. there is no real usage. and that makes it a lot riskier than any other investment.
