641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacken ai IEO failed on: April 17, 2020, 11:35:25 AM
What will happen to hacken ai now? The project planned for IEO on oceanX exchange, damn I did warned them about such exchanges, they only sold 18% of 100% tokens for the IEO in 24hrs, that's a big failure, any solution to this?

I do not know the capacity of this particular exchange in terms of IEO but since the adequate funds weren't gotten maybe the team will consider another round of IEO on different exchange because I believe they won't like to take the chances of not achieving the required funds if they choose the same exchange for another round. Also, from the name, it looks like an AI project and with the growth nature of AI projects in this space I hope they have a different thing to offer.
642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap or Coingecko? on: April 16, 2020, 10:01:09 PM
For example, I heard lot that P2PB2B is one of the bullshit exchanges because it has fake volume, but why on coinmarketcap can in the top 3?
Whereas on Coingecko P2PB2B is ranked 114, Does coingecko know if it's bullshit exchange? so it's not in the top 3 like in coin marketcap

So which one do you trust more?

Both are for the same purpose which is to help bring together crypto exchanges and projects but yet they aren't doing the job well. Everyone knows that exchange (P2PB2B) is not a good one but yet on coinmarketcap it is ranked top 3 which shows that they are not only faking volume but coinmarketcap is helping them to succeed when they shouldn't. Coingecko sometimes is good, it helps upcoming projects a lot and in the case of this particular exchange shows that coinmarketcap is wrong, however it needs more improvements to stand up to coinmarketcap.
The one I trust more; actually I have the same level of trust for them.
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market Manipulation Or Not? on: April 16, 2020, 09:41:14 PM
There is a lot of this every now and then, and if you are holding just take your profit and move on because it will go down as usual and this time might be bad. Also, comparing data from the price increase it is likely not to be manipulation nevertheless do not let down your guard when you see token growth like this because most tokens we have today are just for pump and dump, nothing more nothing less and this might be one of them.
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which projects do you hold? Which ones do you believe in? on: April 16, 2020, 09:27:51 PM
Short and nice list I must say at least will make you to be able to keep track of each of them easily. Also, they are good coins as well although I don't know much about the last coin (BLOCK). As for me, I used to have a long list as well but since the pandemic disrupted many things I have been holding just BTC, ETH and USDT, USDT I kept to make it easier to convert to fiat when the need calls for it.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another Exchange got hacked on: April 14, 2020, 09:14:53 AM
Another crypto exchange got hacked and this time the victim is Bisq, a trading platform that has temporarily ceased all its trading services that unfortunately cost users at least $250,000 in digital funds, is there no year gone by withouth a crypto exchange getting hacked? This one weaks me, will this ever stop?

Just hearing about this now and it is really a bad time considering the unhealthy state of the world now. I do not trade on the exchange and it looks like a smaller exchange as well, but yet, whether big or small exchange, the reality still remains and that is, no exchange is free from the eyes of hackers. I hope they get back to operations soon and users also takes more precautionary measures to ensure the safety of their assets.
Will this ever stop? I highly doubt it, because hackers are improving their skills everyday and it's left for exchanges to continuing improving their security as well.
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheating or Not? on: April 14, 2020, 09:04:46 AM
Well, I understand your point, but what can one do than to comply; this is now a trending event and when you ask to know why there is a change in rules you will be remained that "the bounty manager and team can change the rules". So I think, one should be prepared for anything both from the bounty manager and the team in order not to be at the receiving end or miss out after a long period of time.
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about Trust Wallet! on: April 14, 2020, 08:43:53 AM
Hello Everyone,
I want to start social bounty again, because i think this is the right time to do online jobs/bounty hunting! So, my question is, Is Trust wallet supports ERC20 tokens? Do you think it is secure enough?

Thank you.
Stay home! Take care your Family.

I started with Imtoken, and I must say it is very secure but when it comes to user friendliness, accepting more than one type of token that is, storing Ethereum, Tron and even Bitcoin, Trust wallet is the best. So to answer your question, yes, it is very secure and you can definitely use it to store ERC20 tokens as well as others like Tron, ICON and so on.
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is not in healthy state yet on: April 14, 2020, 08:36:11 AM
More than half of the 2020 crypto conferences were either canceled or postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, while mining manufacturers had to stop the equipment production in China, how good is this for crypto?

Basing my argument on your title, I would say the whole world is not in a healthy state although some countries are trying hard to contain the pandemic others are hardly succeeding. As we all know the devastating effects is that businesses etc aren't moving accordingly, borders are closed and so forth, thus showing that the world in general is not in a healthy state; and since crypto is of the world as well as being under the care of us humans then it is likely not be in a healthy state. But however, comparing crypto to other markets, it tends to be on the better side.
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What matters to grow the price of an Altcoin on: April 11, 2020, 07:48:28 AM
We all know cryptocurrency. We Buying and selling different types of altcoins in different exchanges. Many of altcoins have the same features, total supply, blockchain, even number of decimals, But in their prices, there is a huge difference. So, there is one question that appears at this point that "What matters to grow the price of an Altcoin ?". Is it makes a high price by listing on many different exchanges or the team works behind that altcoin/project? Or something else. This is a big question which all of us want to know.

The first and most important is the team, because everything comes down to them, their desire to build a good platform, the urge to make their ideas achievable and the need to see that their project grows; maybe I will say, everything starts and ends with them, how?. A project team needs to be driven by their desire and this is what will lead into building good working products, this is the first step. With their working product in place, they will need good marketing to expose the products to the world out there, with this being done goes to the next stage which is listing on exchange. Exchanges is when the community will know if the project is worth it or not, how? Good projects goes for good exchanges and must not be top exchanges for a start. Therefore once it's on a good exchange with the team working hard behind the scenes, the project will be growing gradually; therefore what neccessary matters is just four things, the team, the idea, the community and the exchange.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the new method of "Initial offering" this year? on: April 11, 2020, 07:31:05 AM
From the way things are, I think we might not be expecting anything soon, people are already caught up with many things and choices. On the other hand, IEO don't seems to be slowing down anytime soon as majority of those conducted on good exchanges have been giving their investors good return, although not much in some cases but still good enough to be grateful. Therefore, since IEO is still working, investors will need a very good reason to let go for another which as it stands isn't forthcoming or not yet seen.
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will coronavirus encourage people to use crypto more thoroughly? on: April 11, 2020, 07:17:59 AM
If only there are more and more platforms which accepts crypto as a means of payment then it would have been the best option, therefore will encourage people to use it more thoroughly. But take a look at the world today, and ask questions like, can a taxi accept crypto? Can you go to the salon, make your hair and pay with crypto? Only very few accepts while In many countries this is not possible, to make it worst, most are yet to fully accept crypto let alone platforms accepting it into their payment systems. Am not trying to be limit the good side of crypto rather am pointing to the fact that, we need more exposure, we need more platforms to start utilizing crypto then people will start using it more thoroughly and preferably since it comes with lower transaction fee.
652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Looking to trade the usdt market on: April 08, 2020, 11:03:21 AM
Hi community members,
I have been an active trader of the bitcoin markets for couple of years. Now I want to enter the usdt markets. So basically I'm used to 0.00002-.00003 max withdrawal fee from most exchanges but i see usdt exchanges charge somewhat around 10usdt for withdrawal which Imo is very high to someone who is used to the buy sell Btc on low fee exchanges without many kyc verifications. Could someone point me to such low fee exchanges dealing in usdt?

This varies with exchanges but really such amount for withdrawal is too much and I wouldn't try it. If your funds are on the exchange already, I think the best thing to do is to sell to other altcoins like XRP etc and withdraw in order to minimize the fee. Now for an exchange with low withdrawal fee for USDT, Binance seems good as the withdrawal fee is currently less than 1usdt which is far better than that exchange.
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Methods that fraudsters use to scam people on: April 08, 2020, 10:53:25 AM
Here are few methods that online scammers use to scam people till date due to lack of not knowing

1. KYC Fraud

Behold, Any body can just contact you claiming they are bank executives or customer service officer from your bank and asked you to share details to complete KYC, they will actually first tell you that your account isn't safe anymore, this have proven to works on innocent people most times.

2. Fake SMS

This days online shopping can be very dangerous if you don't go through right channels, secondly you can get fake SMS about any online shopping cash back and you will be asked to share your credentials, ATM card details etc

3. Public Charging Spots

Abstain from charging your phones from any public charging spots, scammers can use some kind of chips that installs malware or spyware's on your phone while charging, this chips copies your sensitive data and inject the malware, automatically they have access to your phone, you can lose private keys this way, even every single  passwords on your phone. instead you are better off with power banks.

Most people knows about coins this days and believe me it doesn't have to be online alone before losing your private key or recovery seed, you can easily lose them offline as well

This is an educating and eye opening post and I hope many people will come across it and learn from it. With this internet age comes with many levels of scams, fraudulent activities, fraudsters name them who are constantly looking for ways to steal from people not minding the time and risk it will take. Just like you stated that it doesn't have to be online only but also offline, let me point out that we should be careful of our browsers especially the ones we login with on exchanges; that is, we should be careful of who we leave our phones with, if possible lock the browsers.
654  Other / Archival / Re: CVirus Token on: April 08, 2020, 10:38:50 AM
Riding along with the tide I presume, that is, since Corona virus is trending (even though in a painful way) it would make sense to create a project which will leverage its trend and enrich the developers. What is the sole purpose of this coin? And how will it in a slightest bit help to contribute positively to the trending virus? From the look of things, the project doesn't have such answers and thus I wouldn't invest nor promote it to friends and families because I will only be adding more pains to them. Countries are still on shut down and the best anyone can do now is to be wise and not to invest carelessly in this type of project.
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has the price of Altcoin stopped in one place? on: April 07, 2020, 11:42:37 AM
It seems that the price of Altcoin has stopped in one place and is getting lower. If the price of Altcoin stays at that fixed point, then it is very difficult for the price of Altcoin to fall. If the price of Altcoin now becomes too high, then people will start buying more and more, which will cause the price of Altcoin to go up. Is that right?

As at today the prices of most altcoins are showing good signs of increase that is to say they were not and have never been at one place. Many factors affects the market and the results is seen on the prices of coins, so when you notice no good sign of growth, be calm and give it time; although this is associated with some coins not all. Few days ago the pandemic brought the world to its knees and now signs of hope are being seen and it is just a matter of time for the global markets to readjust and kickoff including crypto. Lastly, any coin you see has stopped in one place for a long time shows something is wrong.
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT trusted to use? on: April 07, 2020, 11:30:19 AM
Currently, USDT daily trading volume is over the Bitcoin trading volume and fourth highest market cap according to Coinmarketcap. My opinion is We can't trust the centralized stable coin to keep the money. Also, news around the USDT is not good, and it may be shut down by the authorities.

What is your opinion about the USDT coin?

I use the DAI to keep the stable value & will shift to the SAI in the near future where the money I'm not investing.

USDT is seen just as an alternative when trading or when the market isn't going as anticipated, many don't hold USDT for long because it doesn't appreciate in value hence the reason mostly traders uses it. Also, since time past there have many news surrounding USDT and yet it keeps growing and people keeps using it the more, the question is why? I would say, because people have seen a level of trust (although centralized platforms are not to be trusted) within it hence ignoring all news and still using it. Also, as big as it is, I don't think it can be shut down easily.
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you really think news can change the Crypto Market Sentiment very easily? on: April 07, 2020, 11:16:56 AM
Yes I do, news have a very powerful effect on the crypto market in as much as it can bring a positive growth, in the same way, it can bring devastating dump. Even in the world out there, some news can make someone happy at the same time there are news that are heart breaking. So once again, yes news is one thing that can't be ignored and I remember vividly when India lifted the ban on crypto, and what followed suit. Also, every trader is always on the lookout for news to know the best way to trade because for every good or bad news, the effect is seen on the market.
658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Best Project 2020, suddenly stopped! on: April 07, 2020, 11:06:08 AM
If it's the best project this year it wouldn't have stopped without a reason, don't you think? Come to think of it, on what grounds is it the best project, or is it because it is listed on coinmarketcap already? For clarification sake, there are many things needed to term a project the best project, nevertheless since it is your opinion it should be respected. However, I noticed you made reference to bounty or maybe you are referring to the bounty being put on hold; well every project knows the best for them and maybe pausing the bounty was for the good of the platform for now.
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will this have any impact or not? on: April 04, 2020, 09:58:20 AM
What's going to happen if CZ and binance start getting rid of some projects on Coinmarketcap? Especially those with bad volume and Liquidity and also dead projects, because many are on coinmarketcap, what do you think this will do for crypto space? Will it have any impact or not?

I don't like the idea of Binance taking over coinmarketcap because coinmarketcap in the first place is meant to be on its own so that there will be fair treatment towards all projects in this space. In my own opinion, it is the duty of coinmarketcap to set out strict rules which will force out bad projects and those with low volume as well as enforcing exchanges to do the right thing, it will be tough but will be for the good of everyone.
660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Traders need to learn on: April 04, 2020, 09:43:12 AM
One of the things to get rid of during trading is emotions followed by greed. One needs to understand trading, learn it before embarking on it because there is alot that affects it such as news etc and therefore when a trade Isn't going as planned the best thing to do is to exit the trade and not try to be smart. Lastly I think no one trades to lose, every trade comes with a good expectations but once it is not falling in place exiting with little or no profit is far better.
