1641  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cryptsy withdrawal problems possibly due to CEO divorce proceedings on: January 15, 2016, 01:55:26 AM
Added a new Poll to collect people's opinons on why Cryptsy is having problems. Please vote if you have a chance.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1325921.0

Voted. This is a big debacle if there ever was one before. Could it turn out worst then mtgox once the lawyers are done with them?
1642  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why do you think Crypsty is continuing to suffer withdrawal problems? on: January 15, 2016, 01:53:58 AM
I think He wanted to stole the coins in the first place, since the fact that Cryptsy run away and moved out of his office without any announcement or whatsoever Sad
We have another Mt.Gox case ahead of us and it will be hard for those who still have their coins stuck inside Sad
There is a first class action lawsuit against them already initialed so this does not look good at all for investors.
How is personal information going to be safe for the account holders?
1643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet buying bitcoin? on: January 15, 2016, 12:14:31 AM
Statements like this from him only brings more awareness to bitcoin.
So he thinks he is harming it while in fact he is promoting it because gen-zer's will do completely the opposite of what he says, since he is old and has crabby points of view of how the world is now.
Back in my time  Roll Eyes blah blah blah
1644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: January 14, 2016, 05:49:53 PM
Paypal has sucked and has always sucked as a business model. It is set in it's ways and in that, can charge as much in fees as they want and have been doing so since the start.
With owning ebay does not help the matter in dealing with them either.
1645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who here has made a lot of money from bitcoin? on: January 14, 2016, 05:41:17 PM
i bought at $6 a bitcoin in 2012.. im sitting pretty and no longer care about the spikes or dumps of daily/weekly/monthly activity.

i spend what i want when i want and know im better off then i was in 2012. i dont even get excited about the penny pushers dreams of $10,000-$1m a bitcoin.
as thats just the dream of people with only $20 dreaming of becoming millionaires without actually earning bitcoin properly
The question is: How many bitcoins did you purchase so you can say you are sitting pretty now and when did you sell if you did at all to not be able to care about the price from where it stands now and going into the future?
Buying at $6 a coin will never ever happen again. Not in this life time even for those ones living in a dream bubble.
1646  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Any one try bloombtc? on: January 14, 2016, 03:38:47 PM
bear in mind that you need to pay 5% fee of what you release, making it necessary to stay atleast 50 hours (=> 50*.001= 5%) to make any profit
Yes that can be done if you change the compounding amount on you deposit to split it between your balances in each.
Its not bad system only if you know when to release your deposit.
yes indeed, but there is still a 5% that you lose for the part not compounding :p I was just saying that before you release your resources, to make sure you've been running more than 2 days. That is if you do not wish to end with losses...
Well aware of that and I am sure mostly everybody checks this before putting any money into these investment "games", as we all know there is no such thing as free money or in this case no such thing as free bitcoin. We all know we will be paying a service charge for any investments we make. They of course want their 'cut' too out of the profits or they will not be able to continue to operate and will fold sooner then they plan on too.
On the btc I put in I paid 0.002btc in this 5% "service fee" and having it in there for less than 2 weeks
is not too bad to me. $0.8 is not very much compared to what I made for bitcoins that would of been idle not collecting interest on them anyways.
The main point to put out is: Don't put into these programs more than you afford to lose.

1648  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: BUYING ..49 BTC - Paypal Preev Rate +5-10% on: January 14, 2016, 04:38:56 AM
How much exactly are you looking for, throw me your amount and include the rate.
1649  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Want Paypal - Have BTC - 200$ on: January 14, 2016, 02:23:53 AM
Want to do the other $100 you have.
Send me a pm as I have contacted you before about this deal but we did not come to an agreement on the arrangement to complete this exchange.
1650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Casualty List on: January 14, 2016, 02:06:40 AM
Wait, what am I missing here about Xapo?  That article is about a fundraising round, which is the exact opposite of becoming a casualty.  Also, Cryptsy still hasn't officially bit the dust yet.  Soon, though.
That $40 million was raised 18 months ago in 2014 - spent now, xapo is in ruins - and their head man just took a new job.  I guess that pretty much means: dead.  They will pretend to be 'just fine' for awhile longer to try to shake out some value somewhere - but you can believe me - they are dead.

Cryptsy has been dead a long time.  You might not like to believe it, but they are very dead.  Dead, dead, dead.  Maybe you need to actually see a funeral before you believe it, but they are actually dead once the heart stops beating.

Xapo - I have not heard anything about it being in troulble, quite the opposite in that they got a record amount of funding.. He is still CEO of Xapo, just becoming a board member of Paypal.  If anything Paypal will buy Xapo.

I can see this happening forsure. That is why they hired him the first place. Paypal sees themselves losing out on the bitcoin wave and want to know how they can cash in on it's success while they can.
1651  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stamp is Leading BTC.....That means DUMPAGE! on: January 13, 2016, 10:32:28 PM
the buy point for me is going to be around $350/360

I think we will see that before we see $500 break.

bitcoin failed to take out the $465/500 top area 3 times now, the easiest path from here is down.
the support zone between $350 and $400 looks pretty solid though. It should once again provide the support, and as you correctly point out somewhere above $350 would be a good entry point, before the next leg up starts.

Can you say when this would happen. End of the month maybe?
It looks like it is holding at $431~ as it has not moved for the entire day from this price.
1652  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Minute-btc anybody use them and profited? on: January 13, 2016, 05:57:36 PM
That's the typical ponzi scheme. They promise o offer fixed interest per day, quite a bad idea consider they say that they use bitcoin mining.
There are some trusted sites that offer fixed rates (not bitcoin minning), like carbon7.cc and pokeram.com both seem to have been paying for over four years.
How do they fund their programs then? pokeram seems just from the name that he gambles with your money to run the site. So if he loses, you will lose your investment. That does seem more riskier than counting on them being honest about using mining to back their site.
1653  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Minute-btc anybody use them and profited? on: January 13, 2016, 05:44:44 PM
Isn't this how all these high yielding investment programs run and continue to be able to run by paying members with other's investments?
There will be some that benefit while the majority will lose, especially the ones who got in at the tail end of the Ponzi. But they will close down once they get a BIG investment as that's all they are waiting for in the first place, right?
1654  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: bitcoin instant anyone try them opened for 1 day so far on: January 13, 2016, 05:41:09 PM
Looked up their whois info (http://whois.domaintools.com/bitcoininstant.net), and apparently the website is in Ecuador since they are not hosting it themselves. It also says that the admins are from London just as said in their website, but it also haves the same IP as two other scam sites so.
Which other two sites are they associated too thru the same ip?
They might have to be hosted in Ecuador since it could be illegal to have it in the UK regardless if they registered. None of their hosting companies want to get in a legal battle regarding a sites content in their home country.
1655  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Making around $37 per BTC with instant trading on: January 13, 2016, 05:23:10 PM
It seem an Arbitrage, but i don't trust paypal payement Roll Eyes
Well all this should change as ex-xapo ceo has been appointed as director of paypal just a few hours ago.
This should bring bitcoin payments more easier to do with paypal going forward without so much worry(link)about being suspended using their services for making purchases of bitcoins going into the future.

1656  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Making around $37 per BTC with instant trading on: January 13, 2016, 04:27:52 PM
This method does not seem legit. They will suspend your account if they are suspect about buying bitcoin via your account. It has happened to others before. As many know, too many transactions brings up as suspicious activity on their end.
1657  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here we go sub 400! on: January 13, 2016, 12:53:17 PM
I would think many are ready for the dive this time. There has been forewarning from all fronts, whether it be from the media saying the market is going down and China's economy is below it's usual standards even from as every year at this time the price drops suddenly.
The writing was on the wall  Undecided
1658  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stamp is Leading BTC.....That means DUMPAGE! on: January 13, 2016, 05:15:56 AM
Ah, the cockar0ach thread.
Link to this thread   Huh

His posts always humours me and puts a smile on my face in the morning.
I have seen this price drop in the last 3 hours by twenty bucks.
1659  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] Sign up Campaign ✣ Join And Receive 1$ in BTC on: January 12, 2016, 05:19:08 PM
PM me the details only if this is an ongoing RCB of clicking for weekly payments. If it only a one time offer after signing up then yes, I agree with the above poster that this is not worth it since the person you sign up under makes income from your clicks for their life time on the site.
I did this last summer and received weekly payments of $1 for clicks everyday so the upline has to be making 50% more than that to be able to pay their downline.
Even after buying an adpack would give back atleast $10 for $50 for the referral.
1660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: January 11, 2016, 04:53:12 AM
How can it be real money when I use real money to buy it?
Until that day that fiat doesn't exist anymore then I will call whatever that we are trading for goods and services real money, whether it be bitcoin or whatever else it is we will be using at the time.
