At this point, I got really intrigued. I take that your site is not running yet? I'd like to sign up.

Also, can you please give me a link to your WP? I've been searching them on OP since before I asked my first question, and because I can't find them, I asked here instead. But it seems I have questions that's the answers spark other questions, so I figure it'll be better to just read your WP.
1702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: ETHLend - Decentralized Lending - The Big Bounty Program on: January 04, 2018, 10:35:08 AM
How long we must waiting for the distribution of bounty guys? I'm still waiting and I'm very curious how many coins I'll get...i hope the dev or bounty manager will give us any update, and then when the actual date for bounty distribution...

On their telegram, they hope that the announcement about bounty can be disclosed next week. Patience is the key here as the campaign manager is currently also taking care of some of telegram moderation, he also has to count and check the stakes of multiple campaigns, and other projects that we might didn't know.

SALT is a much better project. I would switch your investments. I sold me LEND and bought during the market dip last week. Best decision I've made.

How could that be a good decision is somewhat mysterious to me. I didn't follow SALT's price, but if you sell lend last week and convert them to salt, then according to weekly chart, you were buying at a market rise and now the price is dipping, so either you're stuck at a high price and trying to help yourself by spreading odd suggestion or you don't really trade lend and salt, only posting for IDK what reason

i have both salt and eth lend since bit connect is too much for my blood  my yearly project salt 200 dollar eth lend  10 dollar

If I assume correctly (since, as I said, I didn't follow salt), SALT come earlier than LEND? If so, than the higher projected return might be caused by SALT already established its name while LEND is still ongoing its awareness. Maybe give them a little more time. Their price growth is quite nice, as they're currently sitting at 1200sat while less than one month ago they're at 400sat
1704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BOUNTY - 2.2M$] 💰FreelancerCoin - A blockchain Freelancing platform💰 on: January 03, 2018, 04:34:28 PM
Hello, what is the ivo price?

Stated on their ANN thread that it'll be 1 LAN = 1 USD. I'm not sure if it's their ICO price or their expected normal price. You'll have a better chance of asking them at their ann thread, though, as your post won't be drowned by reports.
1705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] FreelancerCoin [LAN] A blockchain freelancing platform on: January 03, 2018, 04:16:58 PM
Do you have any plan to help newcomers [...]

It is good point to talk about current freelancing platform problem. In the current freelancing platform, the freelancers who has more experience look more trustable so that they actually get much higher chance to work with more project while new joiners are stuggling with having first project. That's why we decided to work as a freelancing agency based on our freelancing web platform(we will launch in this month.)  that we will give nice project to new joiners as a freelancing agncey. But in that case, new joiners need to pass the online test and/or take online certification that we require. After they pass all, They will be called "qualified freelancer" in our platform and we will give them continus work so that they will be not worried to struggle to apply projects. Passing our rainforced certification system will be valuable for them because we will give them online certification on the blockchain platform so it will be more trustable. They can prove themselves with this blockchain based certification in other websites as well.

Interesting, so basically, once someone is a certified freelancer, you'll moderate and distribute assignments to your members evenly (or based on other criteria) instead of freelancer has to fight for a place by betting lowest rate?

Do you have any plan to help newcomers (I mean some people who previously had experience but is new to your site) and/or new freelancer (I mean some people that is completely new and has no projects before for his/her reference) to compete with old and more reputable freelancer?

Based on my own experience exploring freelancing site before,  some member with better experience or those who had projects to "promote" himself will most likely be trusted with new freelancing projects than those who actually adequate and skilled enough but has little to no project to convince project hirer. Although this is what would logically works (people with more projects is presumably has a better knowledge or at least is proven to be competent on what he do) it put newcomers at a disadvantage position as he need to struggle get his first job and probably will make him down enough that he decide to leave.

Shall I point out that your text that supposed to be a hyperlink to your website is not working? It's just a plain text.

I take that you didn't follow their telegram? Or read several pages of the last from their bounty thread? The bounty shall be distributed on January. If you can't wait to get a hold of LEND token, which is good, you can buy them, it's on Binance, EtherDelta, you choose.

Can someone explain how fiat lending works on this platform?
Or I just lend ETH amount equal to requested FIAT amount?

Hi, I take this directly from their bot on telegram,

Quote
Lendy:
Even though Ethereum and cryptocurrencies are volatile in general, that does not mean that the lender and the borrower needs to bear the volatility. The volatility of the loan currency (Ethereum) becomes an issue when the borrower wants to repay the loan with FIAT-earned income. To avoid this issue, the borrower can use a FIAT currency such as USD or EUR as a basis for the loan (this is called currency pegging).

Using currency such as USD means that the borrower could example borrow 100 USD worth of Ethereum and repay 100 USD worth of Ethereum plus interest. This means that even if the Ethereum price increases in value, the borrower does not bear the volatility since the borrower is repaying the loan tied against non-volatile currency.
1710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to think in decentralized exchanges? on: December 30, 2017, 03:44:05 PM
Decentralized exchanges are already exist (but only on the ethereum blockchain, like etherdelta for the ERC20 tokens). If somehow bitcoin could have this kind of decentralized exchanges, the current exchanges will be used for fiat to crypto exhanges (where the AML and KYC regulations are mandatory because of the fiat) and not for crytp to crypto exchanges).

Waves has their own decentralized exchange too, you know that, right? Wavesdex is even built-in to their site, although much like ED, wavesdex is quite low in volume

So, how to write a letter to santa, asking for a place in this new phase without donating? I thought you said that we don't have to donate?

1712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO] SuperPay - Let's create the world’s most popular mobile payment. on: December 30, 2017, 07:35:35 AM
If you could add a feature for tipping, I think that'll be very nice. Just like our former tipping site that's now shutted down, "changetip". AFAIK, the main problem of changetip was it negates cryptocurrency's pseudoanonymous status by storing some personal data. If you can find a way to break this condition, I think there will be a lot of user waiting, because as I know, there is no decent tipping app out there yet.
1713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] FreelancerCoin [LAN] A blockchain freelancing platform on: December 29, 2017, 07:31:40 PM
Can you point out the benefits of using your coin as payment method instead of the other regular coins? Like, maybe a fee-free for anyone who looks to hire a freelancer? It'll help drawing a distinct difference between your service and other (more popular) site like xbtfreelancer, etc. that accept other coins as their method

If your payment platform accept credit card as a method, doesn't that means your system collect personal info? Like, the detailed info of the credit card holder? If it does, then what are your guarantee that these info will not be lacked to public or cracked by someone someday?
1715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LPA] Block Chain for Secret Dating Service (PoW/PoS/Quark/Masternode) on: December 29, 2017, 08:59:23 AM
A decentralized dating site, what could go wrong?  Certainly no spammers will take advantage of this!  And I'm sure plenty of attractive women are going to take the time to buy bitcoin and convert it to some obscure token to join a dating site.

Fair point well made. But to give them a chance, I think they'll apply what majority of service companies do: let you have a free version to let you decide whether you want to stay free or buy a premium membership that offers better features. (Ps: why do attractive women want to visit blind dating site?)

Hello there,
So sorry if this has been answered, but I was unable to understand/find it.

can I send the tokens to myetherwallet ? how should I add it there if this is possible?

thank you

Yes, of course you can. Like any other coins, there's no special step, all you need to do is send your token to your MEW address. After that, you might want to "add custom token" on your MEW in order for LEND to be shown.

Enter these details:

Code:
Token name: LEND
contract address: 0x80fB784B7eD66730e8b1DBd9820aFD29931aab03
Token Decimals: 18

I can not understand the commissions. 0.01 ETH Funding fee is collected upon funding the loan will be charged continuously when I open a new order or is it a one-time fee?

It is charged every time someone put a loan request as well as when someone fund a lending. You can see their official info about this pinned on their telegram channel.

Why does dating service need to use Blockchain technology?

It's stated on their post number one. Previously, on other conventional dating site, there are some breach and leaks that make their members' data exposed. With blockchain technology, they argue, end-user can feel more secure as their identity is protected by the pseudoanonymous veil.

As this is the old campaign i want to confirm that I have heard few times ago that this campaign was paused due to some reason but i dont know the whats the reason behind and i want to know the current status of the campaign that this is still live or paused?

Go to their bounty thread to look for info about their bounties, this is their ann thread. But to answer your questions, no, it was never paused but also no, it not "live" anymore. The bounty are all over few weeks ago and the bounty will be distributed around January.

Lending is the "IN" thing now. High risk, High reward.

May I point out that with ETHLend system, we can minimize the risk significantly as there are collaterals and some reputation based system? So we can almost say that lending with ETHLend is low risk with high reward
