1221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][VIDY] | Video Layer for Ads | ⚡$16 million already raised! ⚡ on: July 04, 2018, 04:25:36 PM
All those partners of VIDY is well known companies, for starters that already a guaranty that the project will be doing great.
It also raised $16 millions already, that is a big number, then good luck with the project.

Strangely, I tried to find Coca Cola's official statement about this on their site and I can found none. I use simple google, though. If anyone can point out the real source of that statement, it'll be great. Because as far as I know, Einstein also once said that I am one of the most brilliant mind in the universe, and Bill Gates said he is very fond of my knowledge and has been repeatedly trying to recruit me for the last 100 years, I always refused. Shall I inform us here what ultron said about me?

I think I would not comment further for the point number 2, at least for now, as I'd like to focus on number 1. Without amy disrespect for the whole moderators and administrators of this forum, bitcointalk applied those reporting and limiting post method, but there are still lots of scammers and spammers every day.

On this forum's case, the issue (although still concerning) is not threatening as the forum are more open and attributed to discussion. However, if the same condition applied to your site, it'll be a serious problem as your site has this "investing" tendency.

It'll be very nice if you can apply verification steps upon sign up before they can post.

We appreciate your concern, but we assure you that we will not offer investment advices, nor will we endorse or recommend investments in any project or the suitability of an investment for any particular investor. Tokens Marketplace is not registered as a broker-dealer or financial or investment advisor and does not provide any services requiring such registration. The information on our website regarding any project or in a blog post will be based on publicly available information or directly from the subject project. Tokens Marketplace makes no representation or warrant as to the adequacy, accuracy or completeness of such information. User reviews will be posted just for informative purposes, and if we notice any abuse of this feature, we reserve the right to remove this feature from our website without notice.

Forgive the misunderstanding, I think we lost in translation. Allow me to express it in other way.

Your site will mostly filled with recommendations, reviews, and suggestions made by members of your site about future projects and icos. If you can not establish a strict method to prevent abuse of multi accounts, it can be a serious problem as these accounts can influence people in many ways to invest on bad icos.

If you planned similar method to fight against multialts as how this forum does, I'm afraid it is not adequate. Bitcointalk doesn't need to focus too much on multialts as the nature of this forum is to facilitate a place to discuss about so many things like exchanges, wallets, technical issues, etc. While your site's topic and discussion established by members will have a bigger portion on ico and project that should and shouldn't be invested.

Bottomline: you need to have a strict method of membership if you really concerned about how spammers can affect inexperienced investors.

Okay, somehow I got an impression that maybe refuse to answer my question here but I managed to conclude from your link above this post that (correct me if I'm wrong) your point of difference lies on a possibility of having a transaction between seller and buyer where the final price is not subjected to extra cost of intermediaries?

Amazon, ebay (?), aliexpress and similar sites, although provide a detailed and accurate tracking service of their parcel, charge fees for their service, where the final price shown and paid by the buyers are the seller price + their service fee. While you exclude these service fees?

First of all, thank you for expressing interest in our project and asking all the right questions Smiley

1. Every user who wishes to post a review of an ICO project will first have to register on our website. We will have administrators who will monitor and sanction any suspicious activity. Similar rules for bitcointalk forum regarding posting will apply on our website too. Also, we will rely on community support as well, and we will review every report on any unusual activity. But, as you probably know, scamming activities will always exist, and that is why we strongly advise every potential investor to do his own research and to rely on his own instinct.

2. For now, our strategy is to position Tokens Marketplace as the only open marketplace for tokens, and the only place where users can pay directly with credit cards, find airdrops, bounties and share their thoughts on projects they like. Reviews are just one segment of the marketplace and since they are not done by professionals, but by users themselves, there is no need to advertise that as a premium feature of the Marketplace. In that way, we do not see well established rating portals as our direct competitors.

I think I would not comment further for the point number 2, at least for now, as I'd like to focus on number 1. Without amy disrespect for the whole moderators and administrators of this forum, bitcointalk applied those reporting and limiting post method, but there are still lots of scammers and spammers every day.

1225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TOKENS MARKETPLACE on: July 02, 2018, 01:46:50 PM

Yes, from ICO's. Free listing is free, advanced will be paid. Our FAQ page is still work in progress, and we will share the link once it is live. We will not have whitepaper, as this is not an ICO project Smiley

Very well, we have to make-do, then. My next curiosity will be on your strategy against similar product, like EIDOO (I'm not associated with them at any degree). They're mobile wallet anf exchange that facilitate ICO through their ICOEngine. In several ways, mobile app that has multi purpose like them seems more interesting than your web based app?

First difference is that we do not require users to have our tokens in order to use our services. We will integrate all available and functional services that cryptomarket has to offer today. We are not inventing new wallets, payment processors, or ICO engines. It is a marketplace like many others, just for buying tokens. Think of it as something similar to Alibaba website or Booking.com. It will be a place where experienced investors and those that are first time investors can both have the easy access to all upcoming ICO projects, airdrops, bounties, and later on token auctions. They can share their thoughts, rate projects or add them to their watchlist. It is supposed to bring closer investors and ICO projects, and to have everything conveniently placed in one place Smiley

I don't think EIDOO require their member to have EDO before they can use their service? Eidoo pushed back their release date of exchange again, tho. Regarding other matters like new investors interacting with other professionals to review ICOs, I have two points for this.

1. (suppose that your project grew big and considered as a big reference site for ICOs by cryptocommunity) What will you do to prevent some scamming ico to create hundreds of new accounts and post fake review and shills for their own benefit?

2. Aren't there several independent entities who already do this? Rating ICO and giving reminders through emails for ICO dates? They have an advantage of being established long before you do, and more well-known. Any strategy to penetrate their market?
1226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]✅ [ICO] Open Packaging Network [ANN]✅ [ICO] on: July 01, 2018, 08:19:11 AM
It is not fair compare this project with post office, please read the ''Solution of Open Packaging Network'' section in ANN thread.

I saw that, but couldn't understand the relation of several points with package delivery service, which is why I asked you to explain, to break them down.

And regarding unfairness to compare you with a company that's already exist, a good projects are (although not always) those who offer solution for problems that is not yet solved in our world. While yours, it seems several services (not only post office) had these features. Hence, I ask you what will be your main difference?

I added the sections so manager can easily see which post is considered as counted post and which one isn't (ones from un-allowed sections). I'll edit this post with more official format when instruction for report format issued. Those I marked in red are posts that I made within RUNS topic thread, which considered not-counted as per rules #2 on sentence 1.

As I see in telegram group this token is already listed on the exchange. So my question - when was your ICO and how many have you raised?

I checked cmc to make sure that they're really listed on exchanges and it is true that they've on 2 exchanges, HADAX and Ddex, although I never heard them. What I wondered is, why publising an ann now and not before?

And, a little bit more detailed roadmap will help

One of your advantage is allowing a simultaneous tracking of packages and parcels that's integrated into one system? I thought these features is already available from Post Office Worldwide?

Thanks for your interest on project Miiiike; this system will be available for buyers & sellers. They can follow tracking of the packages.

Okay, so what is the main difference of the service you offer compared to those that's already existed? Aside from integrating blockchain. What problem do they can't solve that you can? In one side, they have an advantage of already being worldwide and trustworthy and more reachable as post office can be found all over the world.

You tried to facilitate between investor-wannabes and ICO project by allowing them to buy the ICO token through your site, am I correct? Can you point out the reason why someone can trust you with their funds, while there are a lot of more secure and official ways to participate on ICO?

Yes, you are correct. But we don't hold the funds. We are just intermediaries between ICO projects and investors. Investors hold tokens in their private wallets. They participate in ICO's the same way they would do on their website (the same etherscan contract address). We facilitate participating in ICOs by integrating all steps of participation in one place - opening wallet (if you don't own one) integrated with Metamask, browsing through available ICOs, buying with credit card (integration with third party website, such as changelly), sending ETH to ICO's, receiving tokens in your private wallet. Everything will be explained in greater details once the marketplace go live, but hopefully, this explains the main idea of our Tokens marketplace Smiley

Okay, and what are the fees that applied to use your service, also what ensures that our credit card details (suppose someone wanted to pay with credit card) will not leaked?

Users of our Marketplace will not pay any fees for our services, and also we do not hold credit card details, everything will be processed through a third party payment processor, one that offers secured transactions and that is well established in the market. So, no need to worry about your personal info, we do not hold them. We are just an intermediary between users and ICOs Smiley

I appreciate the quick response. Regarding this fee-less service, how do your company earn money to keep your project or (at least) your site, then? Is it from ICO? Or, to make things simpler and to avoid future unnecessary questions from me, can you please direct me to your whitepaper or at least FAQs?

We all hope aitheon delivers not because of the airdrop but because of its impact to the world.

An airdrop main purpose is to spread and create awareness of a coin, and as it serve its purpose, it usually has a negative effect of slightly declining the price due to the dump. Hence, if certain coin delivers and reached high, it usually is because if its feature and (borrowing your words) its impact to the world, and not directly due to the airdrop itself.

Let me sum it up, you want a new car, you don't have enough money to buy them so you asked people to send you some waves (which you'll exchange into fiat at some point) so you can buy the car, and in exchange they'll get some waves token that practically has no use? In short, you want them to buy you a new car and get nothing in return.

As said in the [ANN], we're the first 100% honest Waves based ITO. Tell us how many projects have an excellent Whitepaper and deliver no products?

We're honest about our ITO. And we're rewarding the Github Devs.

Yeah, "unique", whatever. I'll give you my best hope you get your car and not a lawsuit (although there shouldn't be any lawsuit works on you due to your project's nature). A red trusts (I believe this one will come easier) is possible, though. Yet it shouldn't be a problem either as you use an alt.

Anyway I'm here for my final words, for investor-wannabes, buy donate at your own wisdom. You've read what he told you, you know what to expect after you click that send button. I would say to avoid this project unless you're within bill gates' or queen Elizabeth's bloodline
