Thank you for bringing this project to attention. It is very interesting and is very much the type of project I want to cultivate relations for EGC with. I will contact them and raise their awareness of EGC. I doubt they will be willing to accept EGC until we have a payment processing gateway that can quickly convert EGC into the fiat of their choice for them but, it can't hurt to try. If nothing else it could start building the relationship for the future.

There are no plans for a signature campaign at this time. That is not to say I am against the idea. If a community member could step forward and help in doing so, the EGC Foundation could fund it and reward the help in doing so. Of course diligent accounting would need to be exercised for both the campaign participants and the foundation's coins.

No, there are no logos on the balloon itself. However; a logo of EverGreenCoin and other logos of companies will be on the spacebox. These logos will be visable in the onboard video that will be filming the flight.

Yes it will be, Port. I imagine many people will be posting videos as Gabi has put together quite the extravaganza with hundreds of participants. Of course, Gabi will be recording and posting videos for certain.

I regret having to inform the community that the launch of the strato balloon must be postponed for unfavorable wind conditions. The balloon cannot be launched in high winds and high winds have been predicted.

The launch is being moved to May 4th or 5th, weather and wind conditions permitting. This is not a cancellation and is only a delay. The backup dates were previously scheduled for just this reason and thus no scheduling conflict will arise.

The important thing here is safety. We can not send the balloon up and, in my friend Gabi's words, "have it blow into the next country." Gabi will post with a further video explanation as soon as he finishes the English subtitles on the video. I did want to let the community know as soon as possible, that is why I am posting now prior to completion of Gabi's video explanation. One can only imagine his disappointment as he has worked very diligently on this aspiration and dream of his but again, it is not canceled and only delayed.

The only thing these unfavorable wind conditions will effect is the launch date. All other previously mentioned aspects of the project are proceeding as planned. Only on a different day.

Thank you frostminer and I have some good news! We were able to recover the affected user's coins by re-syncing the C-Cex wallet. The C-Cex user's case has been closed with the absolute best possible results.

During this time we also upgraded C-Cex to version 1.1.2 which is unrelated to the issue but, it was nice to take this window of opportunity to bring C-Cex up to the latest version of EverGreenCoin.

Happy trading C-Cex users! The wallet is back online.

So the community is aware, C-Cex staff is putting the EverGreenCoin wallet into maintenance mode while we investigate and troubleshot a community member's withdraw issue. The issue is isolated to one account on C-Cex and we will have the EGC wallet back online shortly.

Yes, agreed in regard to the small / fly by night exchanges. EGC had run into problems with a small exchange shortly after launch. So yes, I am a skeptic and certainly would be cautious of presenting the community with a unheard of exchange. I have not as of yet contacted alcurex as I was waiting for any community member that had heard of it, good or bad, to voice that. I personally am of the opinion EGC has sufficient, and well trusted, exchanges but certainly do not want to ignore any requests of the community. Of course polo is and remains a goal.

I did briefly look at the exchange yesterday and only saw a very small amount of volume. For that reason and, at that time, no community response I did not see any urgency.

I will certainly look into BitSquare today.
