Is the statosphere launch starting today or not? Waiting so long now for the first event of EGC. EGC need to show that he is not only a shit coin! It don't has some technical innovation compared to other coins or anything that would make EGC better than other coins. Thats why we really need that launch to show we are real here! More good news! C-Cex has passed their internal audit after syncing to the correct blockchain! No coin discrepancy reconciliation needed by the EGC Foundation!  Of course this came after a skype chat 15 minutes ago with the admin informing me there was a 180k coin discrepancy.  My heart dropped!!! We investigated the tx's that appeared invalid and not until a repairwallet was run did we find everything balanced out. Relieved is an understatement. 180k would have broke the foundation. WHEW!!! |

@Dev, I have problem with my wallet. I was in the right chain, but seems everything are gone. I'm using the latest wallet version. And try to get blockhash as crysx mention on earlier post. I had download the bootstrap.dat blockchain, the extract it and put in wallet blockchain data dir, and it's done imported, and sync'd. I've tried to mine see if it's ok and back as previously. Then I left it alone for few hours, while I'm going out. When I'm back, I need to restart whole system in Win10 after updating my drivers. When it's back and open my wallet were sync as usual, but it's strange that have more unsync'd blocks, about 1,500 blocks. When it's done sync'd, I got unconfirmed and empty on my wallet. I tried once more to clear everything except wallet.dat (already backup also), but all transactions are gone, left only one the last transaction, which I've done successfull sent it to test, see if yobit is back or not. I hope you might have some explanations for this issue.. It would be normal for the block explorer to be displaying a height of a few blocks lower. Try also to compare the block hash of a very recent block. For example, 423800 has passed just a few minutes ago and since you first reported your issue. getblockhash 423800 should return 91c8e19eea532e9cd493aecc8e4153198c95b6b8972b8338c25beb16287a5b72 If all those test indicate you are on the correct chain, perhaps close the wallet, restore your backup wallet.dat, and relaunch the wallet. EDIT: by "few blocks lower" I mean 2 to 4 blocks. I were out of home, but take a look a screenshot link. It's taken from my phone, while remote to check your suggestions. Restored wallet from backup and relaunched. I know some of you are waiting for secondary responses from me with your matters. Please know that no matter is being ignored and all matters will be dealt with. I do have to give securing the network and communicating with pools and exchanges the utmost priority at this time. Thank you for understanding I must follow this priority.
EGC does have some pressing issues going on so, please don't misinterpret that as you being ignored, as I have asked of you both publicly in this thread and privately in my multiple PMs to you. Since these polite requests clearly do not appease you, let me address your concerns to the best of my ability now. The "10 EGC to [the] foundation" issue would not be a normal occurrence of the code and is unexpected. I see presently, and to the best of my knowledge, mined blocks are paying only 1 EGC to the foundation and 49 to the miner, as designed and hardcoded. Further investigation will be needed and the tx id you cited yesterday appears to be an invalid tx. I will investigate this more, when time is permitting and there is not much more urgent issues that demand my attention. About "missing EGC", it is your responsibility to maintain your wallet. Not mine nor someone else's. That said, I have clearly stated, again both publicly and privately to you specifically, myself and the foundation will graciously be replacing any coins that are deemed sufficiently proven to be in-fact missing, even though it is of no fault of mine, the foundation's, nor the wallet's. Those cases will be individually investigated in the order they were received, again time permitting and after order is restored. |

It is great to see nethash back above 1 gh/s, and yes, on the correct chain. Everyone, it is very important for all wallets to be on the correct chain so a consensus across the network is quickly reached and forks do not happen again. Please do use the block explorer at http://transactions.evergreencoin.org to insure your wallet is on the correct chain. If you find your wallet is on a different chain, please close it immediately and do not leave it running until you are ready to do a complete resync. The seednodes are still banning many IP addresses that have the wrong chain. If these wrong chains form a consensus on there own, we will have a wrong fork started again and you may find yourself in it. I do greatly appreciate and thank you in advance for verifying you are on the correct chain and taking the time to resync if you are not. Im using the latest qt, if im not wrong.. all i need is to delete "blk001" and download the bootstrap and replace it or the entire data except the "wallet.dat"

The latest EverGreenCoin-Qt is v1.1.2 (Click 'Help' and then 'About EverGreenCoin'. You will see the version listed in the first line of text). If you do need to upgrade, now would be a good time to do so. Doing so will aid you in staying on the correct chain and finding peers so please do find the time to upgrade if need be. You will only need to download the new Qt and execute it instead of the old to upgrade. Making a copy of your wallet.dat before preforming any wallet upgrade is advisable. After that, yes, like you say, delete everything except the "wallet.dat". Download the bootstrap.zip and unzip the compressed bootstrap.dat into that data directory that contains your "wallet.dat" file. Then launch the wallet. It could take a considerable amount of time for the bootstrap.dat to be imported but, it usually is faster than downloading the entire blockchain. Allow it to run its course and import. You are very welcome. I hope the directions are easy to follow. |

Hi I opened my wallet today after 5 days but i found something weird , I have 6 active connections and i was able to stake and that was ok, the problem is my wallet says out of sync which it already downloaded all the blockchain. and it says something "invalid checkpoint found" is this normal occurrence?  No, it is not normal but has been happening to people as the network experienced more than one known fork over the past few days. I have been working to get everyone on the correct blockchain, which you do not appear to be on, thus the checkpoint errors you are seeing. You need to completely resync your wallet. Hi faza, I do understand your disappointment and frustration of the transaction not being completed. As I am sure you now realize, this was a direct result of the forks that surfaced around the EGC network. I have personally notified all exchanges, including the two involved in your attempted transaction, of the now in effect resolution. Myself and other community members contacted exchanges to freeze wallets as soon as forks had become obvious. I know Bittrex quickly acted and placed their EGC wallet in maintenance however, yobit has not been so quick. Unfortunately, neither was done before you tried your transaction. The best course of action is to get bittrex on, if they are not on, the correct chain. I contacted Bill and Richie of Bittrex to let them know the EGC seednodes were on the correct fork and they could resync about many hours ago. We need to give them ample time to do so. They will also audit their internal records. If discrepancies are found, they may ask for coins to reconcile accounts. In this unfortunate event the EGC Foundation is prepared to provide the coins. Likewise, if the affected coins can not be recovered, the foundation would make every effort to replace the coins providing sufficient evidence. The current phase of these actions is to give the exchanges time to get on the correct chain and uncover any discrepancy that may exist. I do apologize for this inconvenience. Please PM me if you feel you need your EGC from this failed transaction urgently.
