ROFL. Someone is trying to keep the illusion on havelock, always buying 1 share to boost the "price"

Usagi must be invested in this, he, like no one else understands that buying 1 share for 0.06 BTC really increases the value of  thousands of shares in his wallet by 20% Smiley

Meanwhile, in the real world, no meaningfull bids above 0.02890000. Which is still quite an excellent deal compared to holding this bag.

Because that is what we have seen so far, no hashrate spikes at all, this is a unique occurrence.

ROFL. You do realize in the past year difficulty went up by nearly a factor 1000x right? 100000% Nothing unique at 25% jumps. What would be unique is sustained <7% week growth wihch is what my simulation is  based on, we havent seen sustained  growth that low  ever since the asic era.

Anyway, tell me, what do you think difficulty will be like by the end of this year?

Except for that one time we got 3 times what we were promised after 1st havelock IPO

And who gave you that? A good part of it is a loan you will be paying off for an eternity, and the rest from second and third round IPO investors who  already saw  35% of their investment go up in smoke after just a few weeks (more like 50-80% if they own more than a handful of shares).

Good luck finding new suckers for a fresh round of IPO's at even higher prices to bail you out yet again. Not gonna happen, even the stupidity of bitcoin investors has its limits.

1543  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (15GH/S per Unit) on: June 22, 2014, 09:49:45 AM
I always said my simulations where very (very) optimistic.

Now lets continue being optimistic without ignoring the current reality, and lets assume the current hashrate spike is just a one time anomaly and after the upcoming  ~25%  adjustment,  network growth will reach a record low average of 7%/week and decelerate further by 3%. It doesnt get much more optimistic than that:

That gives this result

No reinvestments for another 3 months, and cryptx NAV would be ~0.017 BTC / share, and thats still assuming record breaking reinvestment efficiency.
In reality fair valuation is probably around half that, or around 1/10th of its current price.

Ive seen lots of idiocy in the security forums, but this one takes the cake.
1544  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AMT European buyers on: June 22, 2014, 06:42:23 AM
Remember Josh ZIp-it-king claiming no VAT was due on their products for EU customers? Back then I said it was a big fat lie, but I was wrong. No VAT is due on something that doesnt exist or sell.
1545  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (15GH/S per Unit) on: June 22, 2014, 06:06:26 AM
Network is at 135PH.
1150/135K=8.5%

"oh no, we need reinvestments! or a loan"

Fun fact: at the current ~12% per week network growth. the loan would never get paid back in full,  and there would never be any funds for reinvestments, and the sum of all dividends would total ~0.01BTC
1546  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (15GH/S per Unit) on: June 21, 2014, 11:49:22 AM
Did you just divide market cap by last 1hr mining to get BTC/TH?. You know full well shareholders are not buying fixed mining contracts. with PETA, as the mine expands so does the amount each share is entitled to proportionally.

Nothing prevents you from reinvesting cex.io revenue or cointerra hosted mining revenue in whatever ratio you want and in whatever asset or equipment you want. The fact that with cryptx you are forced to reinvest half your revenue in the same sinking ship with overpriced hosting fees isnt a pro, its a (huge) con.

1547  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (15GH/S per Unit) on: June 21, 2014, 09:38:35 AM
Quite plainly, i couldnīt give anything what you think about it.

Is it overpriced price per GH? yes.

More than other hosted gh? no. As such, the price seems fair and will most likely mirror the one per GH on cex.

Cex.io is even more bonkers, Ill give you that. You'd also have to be an idiot to buy hosted mining at cointerra, but they charge $3M/PH for 12 months or 5.11 BTC/TH per year
Peta mining is currently 4.66 BTC/TH
but you have to factor in the loan 538 BTC /1150TH =0.47 BTC/TH
and you have to factor in hosting fees 73 BTC/week  / 1150TH * 52 weeks= 3.3 BTC/TH/year

Total 4.66 + 0.47 + 3.3 = 8.43 BTC/ TH/year

Heck, its actually even more expensive than cex.io!

There is a difference between weak, and virtually non existant. This is what  weak looks like (asicminer):

I mentioned before that, in the days of 50 btc per block rewards, I solved one block, but did 3 blocks worth of work. On most pools I solved no blocks at all. Did I cheat those pools out of $50 000? Are you also 95% certain that the 5% of pool members that have had similarly bad luck are also cheating this pool?

Its clear to me this problem cant be solved with statistics. Variance of good faith small hashrates is far too great, and anyone with bad faith and large hashrate can easily divide his hashpower over as many accounts/workers as he wants.

I dont know how stratum works at all, but the only solution I can think off that would be 100% watertight is changing the protocol in such a way that the miner can not know if his share solves a block or a not, and only the pool can determine that. Is that something thats even theoretically possible to implement?
1551  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (15GH/S per Unit) on: June 21, 2014, 05:59:26 AM
Twice I have purchased mining equipment from KNC, acheived ROI+ and then sold the equipment for 2-3x overall profit.

Early Jupiter preorders were 50-100BTC. Are you telling me you earned 2-3x that?

Besides, I was talking about mining securities. Ive not heard of any ever that achieved a positive ROI. Mining gear occasionally has, but very rarely btc denominated, and in fact only really first generation Avalon and KnC if you happened to order during the BTC bubble. The reason for that is that every other manufacturer was hugely delayed and both companies where about the only ones shipping, even though market prices reflected the expectation of many more companies, all of which customers got burned badly. We have around 10 companies shipping now, so thats never gonna happen again.

Anyway, enjoy your massive 2.5% weekly dividend for as long as it lasts:
Estimated Next Difficulty:   16,539,835,376 (+22.86%)

Network hashrate: 121PH.
Cryptx: 0.95%

Essentially what (re)investing does is spending (mining revenue) on extra mining hardware and expecting that this time, the new hardware will provide > 100% ROI, even though the previous investments didnt and will never even come close.

"insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results"
A. Einstein.

Borrowing money to invest in something that historically has never yielded a positive ROI is even more insane.

Looks like-10% per week, again my projections prove overly optimistic. Fun hasnt really started yet though:

What do I win?

[BTW, I want to go on record predicting KnC will turn in to another Avalon, with general praise for their first batch/gen being roughly on time and more profitable than hoped for, yet failing to deliver on the next batch/gen in time for any chance of profit.

[..]

Its not gonna happen in Q1 and most likely not before the end of Q2. And it wont be profitable (btc denominated).
1555  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (15GH/S per Unit) on: June 20, 2014, 09:08:05 AM
Calling what I've done "Attacking your character" is a stretch. I'm simply pointing out that you aren't being truthful regarding your motivations.

WTF? Implying Im a deceitful liar with a hidden agenda isnt an attack on my character? Fuck you!

I also post only using one single account, Im also completely honest about my bitcoin investments: they are all in a cold wallet. Unlike you, I have a trackrecord of  exposing scams and making accurate predictions time and again, and have no financial incentive whatsoever to provide misinformation. I truly wish I had, but for some reason no one, you including is willing to either take my bets or borrow me their shares for a fee.

Do we know how long the exponential growth will continue? No.  Will it end soon? Most likely not. That doesn't mean that I won't continue making money with PETA.

Yes it does if you do the math, but you stubbornly refuse to present any numbers that could possibly show you or any investor making a long term profit. You're just looking for a way out, I know I would if I held as many peta shares as you.

Each Neptune Cube uses a high-quality PCI-E connection and draws approximately 300 watts at it’s port[/b]

300 x 5= 2100? Huh

2100 is at the wall, and thus includes PSU inefficiency.
Although that would be pretty awful efficiency if indeed the boards only draw 1500w.
1557  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (15GH/S per Unit) on: June 20, 2014, 08:21:20 AM
I have to disagree on this point.  The key to wining this mining game is to have a sufficient amount of hardware paid off by the time the exponential growth curve levels off.

Lets hear your estimate that justifies holding petamine. What will difficulty be like 6 or 12 months from now you think? How many GH will petamine operate? You keep dissing my projections by trying to attack my character, how about you try convincing anyone (including yourself) with some numbers instead?

Quote
We are in the 'acquire hardware' faze that will pay long term dividends once that occurs.

Actually, with the current hosting and electricity costs, there is nothing long term about this; dividends are heading towards zero by the end of this year, as hosting fees per GH will become larger than the mining revenue per GH. Even if cryptx manages to increase power efficiency by 35% without losing any hashrate, it will only take about a year before dividends effectively become 0 and cryptx will have to pull the plug. And of course in either case, you will not have come close to "paying off" the hardware to the investors who funded it.

1558  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: June 20, 2014, 07:02:58 AM
Circumstances like this thread and trolls like yourself, ultimately indirectly assisted in some of our delays

How stupid do you think we are?
But hey, lets pretend we would actually be gullible enough to somehow believe that; If trolls can indeed manage to contribute to 6+ month delays, that alone would be a reason to never ever order from you.  Which other bitcoin mining OEM has ever had delays caused by "trolls"?
1559  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (15GH/S per Unit) on: June 20, 2014, 06:45:39 AM
That is what I am wondering, perhaps Puppet knows something that we don't but in my own mining I know re-investment is key and he seems to imply (as in misses it out of his equations) that they are not doing it or miss-managing it.

Like I said a bazillion time, reinvestment is the exact same thing as investment except for the source of the funds. There is no "key", or if there is one, its the ROI, not the reinvestment; if your investment instrument yields less than 100% ROI, any subsequent round of reinvestment in the same instrument will only lose you more of your original funds until one day you lost it all.  THink of it as a money changer, you put in $100 dollar and it spits out $90. "reinvest" those $90 and do that over and over, and in the end you have nothing left. Of course the opposite is also true, if you do have a machine that spits out $110 for every $100 you put in, your profits are potentially infinite.

Here is the thing though: Cryptx initial investments are on track to offer a return of no more than 25-40%. Is it wise to reinvest your money in such an instrument? No mining security ever has produced 100% ROI or even come close. Yet in my simulation I am assuming the reinvestment fund will yield 100%. While highly unlikely, Its not impossible it will yield more, but if you believe it will yield  more than that, then you will want to invest only in those (re)investments, not in the current asset, or at least no where near the current price. It would be unthinkably stupid for cryptx to come up with something that would certainly  yield >>100% yet limit himself to investing only the pocket change that will be in the petamine reinvestment fund. Ergo, he would launch another security.

No, zero this month. And zero next month. Share holders still have 670BTC to pay back.
