cuda 2.1 supported and optimized nvidia gpu miner would be great !

edit:can anyone compile this for me ? https://github.com/moneromooo/ccminer-cryptonight

I am assuming that you are referring to a Windows version.
Freshly compiled using Cuda 6.5, with support for all compute versions from 2.0 all the way up to 5.2, but untested.
You will definitely need a very recent driver.

Here you go:
Aeon-ccminer-x86-cuda65.zip

when opening this after download malwarebytes says "trojan detected"
Put trojan name

trojan.bitcoinminer
Remove this files .... its not fake alarm.

On what grounds are you claiming that it is not a fake alarm? ...   Roll Eyes
This binary has been used by other folks for nearly a year without any account of issues or malware at all.

I'll be happy to investigate if you have anything going beyond 'its not fake alarm'. Err... Not nice buddy.  Undecided

OK,  thank you, how to proceed ?

I think Polo hasn't RElisted coins usually. AEON was delisted last autumn if I remember correctly, but well, very few expected this renewed interest in AEON.

Does anyone know something about the current status of the website?
All there's left is a proper domain, right? Since Sammy already did a great job designing it.

Once we have a proper domain we could start reaching out to other exchanges or wallet providers, as well as planning other PR initiatives.

There is a repo with a website, smooth need to investigate how to make github to host it and adjust DNS records.
I occasionally deleted nginx from my spare server so demo gone.

Alright. I just quickly looked it up and found the following overview of the different types of domains that can be setup with Github https://help.github.com/articles/using-a-custom-domain-with-github-pages/ &
more specifically, how to setup a www subdomain https://help.github.com/articles/setting-up-a-www-subdomain/

Now it's just about registering a domain or do we already have one?
Smooth, would this be something that can be deducted from the development fund or shall we put together a small amount in order to realize this?

In case we don't have a domain how should we proceed from here?
I could recommend Namecheap as a registrar. It's very cheap (a couple of bucks per year), offers free DNS services and WHOIS guard is about 2,50$ per year.

The domain is already registered and under my control. I'll set it up soon.

Very good !

Its a next Monero or something like this ?  Cheesy

No it isn't "the next Monero". It is a separate coin with some common features and history. But please evaluate it on its own merits and decide whether you like it or not. Either is perfectly okay.

thank you for response, becoming clearer now.

I want to do a short piece about aeon on steemit but can't find much information about the coin. can somebody point me to a white paper or something maybe? what makes cryptonight lite different from the original algo? some interesting current and planned features, and info about them? I've noticed when I mine aeon I get a higher hashrate then I would get mining other CN coins. Why is that?

i am new there, will it join monero ?

ICO website is containing deceitful wording regarding claimed security of the setup

Quote
We employ state-of-the-art security technology for you, with the storage of fiat and digital assets embedded into an Ethereum contract!

This is completely false. The only thing that can be embedded in and Ethereum contract is Ethereum based assets such as MKR, REP and DGX. Every other crypto will have to be held in custody in centralized hot and cold wallets managed by we don't know who (no information provided). The whole matter of how funds will be handled is completely ignored in spite of the fact this is probably the most important aspect of this project.

Storage of assets: not covered
Audit of assets: not covered
Change of service provider: not covered
Counterparty risk warning: not covered
Transfer of assest in case of change of service provider: not covered
Who stores the assets of open managed funds: not covered
Whether ICN holders get dividends: not covered
The nature and calculation of ICN holders dividends (if applicable): not covered

The whitepapers are more highlevel sales pitches than whitepapers and explain strictly nothing about how the whole thing is going to work technically.

This is really underwhelming.
As far as I can tell, there is nothing preventing this thing from becoming TheDAO meets MtGox

this post is severe and deserves an official response.

Hello Miners,

Due to popular demand we are out of Ethash. Sadly we cannot say yet when we will be able to offer new Ethereum Mining contracts, but as always we will do our best to offer you new possibilties as soon as possible.

Also, if you haven't noticed yet, our X11 pricing for 2 year contracts, is as follows::

  • 2.5 MH/s - $20 USD
  • 60 MH/s - $420 USD
  • 300 MH/s - $1,800 USD

And again, please be very careful with emails that appear to be coming from us. We are working on a solution, but in the mean time be very careful with any emails asking you for login details, or asking you to visit some site or log in somewhere, or emails that contain attachments. Please be aware that as a cryptocurrency user, you are a target for hackers, not just with Genesis Mining but with any account or wallet you might use such as Bitcointalk.org or Blockchain.info, or any of the many, many others. For anything and anywhere, assume someone is out to get your details, so protect your computer, phone or other device with proper and up to date security software, use secure and different passwords on every site and service, activate 2 Factor Authentication wherever possible, and make use of any other security features available on the website or wallet you use. And last but not least, use common sense.

Happy mining!

It is not challenging to resolve problem with your e-mails. I am somewhat surprised G M, as a technology company is not able to resolve it swiftly.

the solution could be the institution of a method to authenticate their emails .

The question is double:

-if support@genesis-mining.com does come from genesis mining, or not?

-is 500-btc.com a legitimate operation ?

The sender email address is fake, i can send you a email right now and you think it came from support@genesis-mining.com
The 500-btc.com website i did not visited, i have no vm machine to try, i suggest you do not go to that website.

good advice certainly, thank you.

DECENT is interesting for its freedom of speech;

info coming simultaneously (as decentralized) from a multitude of IP addresses.

swiss affiliation is also a garantee.
