141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: August 16, 2018, 10:17:36 AM
LOL but no. Don't get me wrong, ethereum is a good coin and has proven times without number that it is one of the coins that we can use to make a lot of profit in the long run but there is no way that ethereum is going to grow enough to overtake bitcoin. The only way is if bitcoin stopped growing for a couple of years and ethereum kept growing that is the only way it would catch up which is very unlikely to happen at this point.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto legal in your country? on: August 16, 2018, 10:12:13 AM
I wouldn't exactly say that it is legal since there has not been any declaration saying that cryptos are now an accepted legal tender in the country but the good news it that even though cryptos have not yet been made legal, there is no law saying that it is illegal to use cryptos, so the use of cryptos is not punishable by law. You just have to use it well and not for criminal activities.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are cryptos doomed on: August 15, 2018, 01:23:15 PM
They are not doomed. They are just in a bear market for now, the more the time passes the more potential the coins have of doing well. So far they have done a good job. The market is still young, there is still a lot of growing to be done and as long as there are investors in the projects then the coins will always have value for a long time to come. We just need to give them time to mature
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding how to properly evaluate coins/tokens on: August 15, 2018, 01:11:37 PM
There was a time when I used to look at the opinions of experts on a coin and followed what they said but at a point I started to see that a lot of people evaluate coins based on their emotions. Now what I do is to look at the coins myself and make sure that I do enough research into the coin before I invest in it. I look at the product, what the project is offering and the people behind the project, this helps me to get a good look into the things that I am investing in.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more secure platform in the future, Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: August 14, 2018, 12:07:51 PM
I would like to say that bitcoin would still hold that spot in the future, with ethereum the network is good and is getting mass adoption but it is still not at bitcoin secure level and also there is the fact that the circulating supply of ethereum is way too much. Bitcoin has always been the best and most secure coin in the market and it will remain so for a long time to come.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High Fees Gas ETH on: August 14, 2018, 12:02:10 PM
Mostly the high fees come from the fact that there are a lot of transactions but recently the high fees of ethereum does not seem to be in the same field as that. It might just be a glitch but also bear in mind that it takes more fees for you to transfer tokens than to transfer ethereum. It might just be due to congestion in the network as that is what happens when prices go up.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still invest on ICO ? on: August 13, 2018, 10:58:39 AM
I still do, the reason being that if you are looking to make the most amount of money from a short term investment then investing in ICO is the best way to go. Although there are a lot of risks involved in investing in ICOs now due to there being so many scams, there is always a good amount of money that you can make from it if you can find a legit one.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is nose Diving Hard! Its time to buy More or Sell? on: August 13, 2018, 10:53:11 AM
It is time to buy. If you are selling your ethereum now when the price is down so much then you should know that you will be selling all of your coins at a loss which would go against the reason you are here in the first place which is to make profit. If you do not have the money to buy then what you should be thinking about now is how to hold your coins for as long as it takes for ethereum to recover
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever wondered why ICOs fail? on: August 11, 2018, 08:46:14 PM
There is also the fact that a lot of ICOs are not here to stay. Some of them are just here to raise money and then leave the market with the money that people have invested in the project. Although the point about them not investing in proper PR campaigns is true. if a company wants to be in the market for a long time then what they need to do is to make sure that they have a good pr campaign.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where to sell tokens? on: August 11, 2018, 08:33:58 PM
The best place for you to sell tokens would be on the exchanges where the coins are listed on, it does not take a lot of time to find the exchanges that certain tokens are listed on, the best thing is to just do a simple google search and in a matter of minutes you would be looking at exchanges that trade your coins but if there are not exchanges that the token is listed on then you just have to wait until it gets listed.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To all bounty hunters around the world, you'll need to see this on: August 10, 2018, 11:46:52 AM
Well I do love crypto but since I have being doing bounties there have never been a time where I have gotten the same pay from two projects despite the rank being the same. It largely depends on the coin, how much coins they are giving out and how much the coins are when they hit the exchanges. If the coin does not do well then the earnings is significantly less.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Way forward from the bearish market on: August 10, 2018, 11:40:02 AM
The way forward from the bearish market is for more adoption to happen. the coins need more awareness and more people buying into them. And also the people who are dumping their coins on the market and taking out the money need to stop already. There is way too much at stake now. Also we all need to be patient for the prices to recover well before selling coins.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold all my ETH and bought ADA on: August 09, 2018, 11:53:01 AM
It could be a good move if ADA ends up doing good but I do not see the wisdom is selling all of your coins as good as eth and putting them in an altcoin that you are not very sure of how much it will last in the market. I am not one to judge so if you believe that this is the way that you can get the most out of your money then by all means go for it.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins still dropping in price on: August 08, 2018, 12:02:47 PM
They are dropping in price because the market is in a bear. Then there is also the issue of all of the prices of the altcoins being dependent on the price of bitcoin so now that bitcoin is struggling in the market, you see that all of the altcoins are struggling in prices too.  That is how it works, until bitcoin starts doing better, we will not see any good prices in altcoins.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the market red on: August 08, 2018, 11:57:10 AM
The market is red because people keep taking money out of the market, they are panic selling their coins at low prices and dumping their coins on the market thereby increasing the supply and there is not enough demand for the coins to even out the prices. We are fully into bear territory and it is time for everyone to strap up for the ride because it will not be smooth.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think the market will recover and get back on Green?? on: August 07, 2018, 08:21:04 PM
I don't know and there is no way to tell for sure. The market follows the demand of the coins that are in the market now, the more money comes in the higher the possibility of the market going back to green. Given the previous bear markets, then it is possible that it might take a couple of months before we can start to see an increase in the prices.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I buy BItcoin or Litecoin on: August 07, 2018, 08:13:51 PM
You should be buying bitcoin especially if you are planning to hold the coins that you buy for the long term. I don't even think 50-50 applies here anyway, if you want a good coin out of the two to put your money into then bitcoin is the best choice. It is the coin that you can be sure will be here for much longer than any of the other coins.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to known a Scam ICO on: August 06, 2018, 12:18:27 PM
The best way for you to know a scam ico is to check the people behind the project, if there are no faces behind a project then you know that the project is shady and the people are just making sure that there is no way to trace back to them when they get out of the project with the money. Also look at the product, if it is not sustainable then it is a dying project.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is dead. Prove me wrong. (DIECI destroys ETH) on: August 06, 2018, 12:13:14 PM
Yea yea yea all of the new coins that have no way to tell the people that they do not have a clear cut product for their coins want to come for the big dogs, you know what? we have been hearing talk like this for years, about new coins that are going to take over bitcoin or ethereum but here we still are, with both coins still leading the market. Don't worry, you are just going to fade into the market like all of the others before you. Boy bye
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you still afraid of? on: August 03, 2018, 10:38:09 AM
The numerous scam coins in the market right now, they have made it impossible for us to trust any new coins that are coming out which means that we are not investing in the coins as we should be doing. Besides that I am not scared about much, I have been in the market long enough to know that bears are normal, they will pass.
