701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ether Mining on: July 26, 2016, 07:51:20 PM
ETC mining is very profitable at the moment. But you have to sell it quick. The price is very volatile.

There are many DDoS on the ETC and ETH pools. Can anybody recommend a pool that has good protection?

$ETC blockchain is producing ~200 blocks per hour more than $ETH ... will be a longer chain in approx 20hours if this continues #ethereum

MACD heading down, RSI is too high, MA and EMA not looking good.

This thing is going nowhere but dooown.

yes that huge price pump is over for now but price now is stable, and i am sure that price soon will rise again because of halving that hapend 2 weeks ago

If there is  no block size increase, the bitcoin price will stay around here or drop slowly, Ethereum or other coins will replace it.

Ethereum whales in support of classic are determined to win the war

https://bitflikz.myshopify.com/blogs/news/ethereum-whales-offer-legal-support-for-dao-hacker-challenging-foundation

A strong buy wall has been created and Classic has already climbed to spot 6 in market cap.

http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/views/all/

It is worth $41 million now, no. 8 on the list. When the big Ethereum whales and the hacker dump his coin, what will the price be?
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, for how long can ETH survive this mess? on: July 25, 2016, 04:30:14 PM
it doesn't matter how much money is stolen by exploiting bugs in ethereum code as long as Vitalik is not on the losing side nothing will change but if he loses anything he will hard fork it again and he has the most amount of coins and money with his whale supporters like poloniex to do it.

A few months ago, I heard in the Bitcointalk forum that he dumped all his Ethereum, is that not trure?
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, for how long can ETH survive this mess? on: July 24, 2016, 02:57:00 PM
The miners are still mining the Ethereum Classic and the Classic is listed in the Poloniex. It might even survive.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ether Mining on: July 24, 2016, 02:53:38 PM
There are plenty of miners here. You can read many threads, especially the claymore and the genoil threads.

Is there any kernel performance optimization since 4.7?

No. That is the reason I am still using the 4.4. There is no improvement in the hashing power since then,

although bitcoin prices have not climbed to the height, but that does not stop increasing the price, may have been when you sell that you have bitcoin, bitcoin prices back up. I also recognize that the current price of bitcoin really stable, but I have the feeling that this stability will soon expire and bitcoin prices go up with higher

Most of the people are focused on the short term price to make a quick buck. Therefore they will tell everything to influence you just to have an advantage on the market. If you are in for the long term because you are really confident that Bitcoin will be successful ignore those guys. This however isn't so easy for many of us. And that's why we see these crazy price fluctuations since a few weeks.

That is true. The short term price of bitcoin is very volatile. But if you look long term, the price will rise.
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH = Game Over on: July 24, 2016, 02:43:21 PM
Just the like the S&P 500 eth is going to the moon on the back of hype, faith and plenty of manipulation lol lol

The Ethererum Classic just was listed on the Poloniex. So it could reduce the price of the Ethereum some what.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH = Game Over on: July 21, 2016, 12:10:59 PM

But classic chain is open to replay attacks. Gud luck with that one.

And the so called new 'main' chain is open to hardforking whenever the miners dont like something.

Imagine if the top mining pools just decides to hardfork whenever they want, these stupid ETH investors will just eat anything.

Have some dignity folks. How can ETH investors trust the network?

There is no need to worry about that. The miners and the Etherum holders will find the best compromise.
712  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price rise is over on: July 21, 2016, 12:09:39 PM
No one really knows when the price of bitcoin would move on its highest price. As of now the price of bitcoin stable on $650+ mark. And many of us surely waitning for the price increase  more on to those who hold large volume of bitcoin or anyone who make large investment of it.  It depends really on how much patience do we have.

I think the bitcoin price will fluctuate around the $666 level for a few more weeks at least. Then it could rise after.
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think Ethereum will be finished after this attack on: July 21, 2016, 12:08:22 PM
ETH will keep dropping as people are uncertain that the hard fork is successful. Even then, it will take some time for people to regain confidence in ETH.
For now, ETH won't rise as confidence will be lost after the DAO hacking.
The weak hands will be shaken out the tree. Those of us going long don't care so much for any shorterm fall. If successful I think the HF will demonstrate how great the ETH community is in its time of need. And this is what investors and big money will like to see.

Hah! yeah right, if that were true you wouldn't be constantly shilling when you know the coin is toast.

This guy is gonna dump his bag as soon as he thinks he can get away with it, people don't be fooled into buying it from him.
ETH is a long term hodl. Nice try at fudding though.

If the Ethereum price does not drop below $10 in the next two weeks, there is possibility it will be a long term hold.

weak hand above me imo; $10 is too high & two week is too short! don't hold your breath for it!
even if hf goes through no probs many dao holders will be dumping their eth!
i say it'll drop lower & will take more than a few weeks for the dust to settle!

Get the shorts ready and don't forget to bail before the squeeze! Smiley

The people who think the Ethereum price will go down should short the coin and prepare for the short squeeze.

Most of the Ethereum trolls do not have the bravity to short the Ethereum as they are not sure about that they said.

Still two days and the charts are already plummeting... this is going to be one massive clusterfuck...

If the price continues to go down to sub $600 levels, then people will most likely panic sell their coins causing the price to even tank further. I expected a dump directly after thr halving, but not at this point. Maybe it's just a trap set up by whales to shake out weak hands. I just hope we'll keep the price above the $600 level.

I don't see price going below $600 in coming months, it will be stabilized at $650 price and the fact is most of the users are expecting higher price in next few months.

I agree with that. The price of bitcoin will stay around the $600 to $700 for the next few months at least.
716  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if we sit at $310-$340 for 2 more years? on: July 19, 2016, 08:26:50 PM
I think the bitcoin price will stay around $600 to $780 for the next 4 months, then it will rise to $1200.
I hope it will happen as you say because for the prices back to around $ 350 is not possible. IMO we have had a strong wall and the majority bitcoin holders who bought at the price of $ 450 before the price spike, they will not sell if the price slowly  drops .
I guess it's okay. may still be very many people who hold bitcoin her at the time, well, I also strongly believe bitcoin will rise in price, so it may be better to save the bitcoin if the price dropped to $ 300 +. and I think at that moment, which uses bitcoin is, users who believe in bitcoin

I think the bitcoin price will not drop below $300 again, unless there is very big news to drive the price doown.
717  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is bitcoin going down 4 the halving?! on: July 18, 2016, 03:25:16 PM
I think that is because the bitcoin price has risen a lot for the last 12 months. The price is more than doubled.

I do not think the bitcoin price will go down to $600 levels. It will stay around the 600 to 800 for some time.
719  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market fucks the majority on: July 18, 2016, 03:22:47 PM
To make profit on the bitcoin is quite easy. You can buy the bitcoin when there is big price dump and then hold.
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think Ethereum will be finished after this attack on: July 18, 2016, 03:21:17 PM
Finished. As in keeps on going and rising

deadcat bouncing.
ETH is going down, wait and see.
Like BTC before it everyone keeps predicting ETHs demise. How long post-fork should we wait? Now is the best time to invest in more ETH.

I don't agree with this being a good time to invest, as the 'ETHexit' will undoubtedly mean temporarily lower prices. But I will concede that over time, it will go up. Not a bad coin, just a really, really bad look for the devs.

It's not wise to buy ether now because due the management of theDao disaster they made a lot of mistakes.... I'm not talking only about the technical ethereum but also its management.

I have more confidence in the Etheruem now than before. There is a vote for the hard fork now, it is good to take back the stolen money.
