I think we need more projects and sites to promote and incentive the use of btc, because if people do not know about it , what will happen is that they'll not use it..
This will take time. As more people use bitcoin, more sites will start accepting it. It is a chicken and egg problem. Everytime I see the word investing it makes me cringe.  Nobody gives money away and that is what people are doing believing that they will profit from these companies or individuals that give you their word that you will get a return for your investment of money, assets, bitcoin or whatever.  People time to wake up! Those are only looking out for themselves and not for you or your best interests. If there is money to be had then they would be wanting it for themselves. There is a sucker born every minute as they always use to say. Now in this day and age of the internet there is one born every millisecond it seems.  If you bought some bitcoin a few years ago, and hold until now. You have made some money. But it is risky. |

the fact that ETH can't get back to pre-hack levels explains a lot ...
It can be happen again there is no perfect that can be the same as bitcoin right now.. hacking can be still happen.. The security is still weak.. but i hope it will not happen again so that it can not affect the price again. I agree with that. But the last hacking was caused by very bad coding. I hope they will audit the cod better next time. |

Yes indeed prediction can not be done accurately, but we can predict with near. The economic progress of the adoption of bitcoin is affected and the number of people using bitcoin. If those two things happen I believe bitcoin will be growing and the economy is getting stronger.

Actually this is true however there is always a possibility of bad events around bitcoin like recent bitfinex hack which have dumped the price to more than 20% within one day which shows how volatile is the bitcoin market/ecosystem. It will require lot more development in the field of bitcoin adoption as well as we need more new investors daily to increase market cap. As the bitcoin grows bigger, the bad events like the Bitfinex hack will grow smaller. The lost coin is just 120k, lower than the MT Gox 800.000. |

ETH completely proved to be a joke, it is a failure.
is it really game over for ethereum or there are still possibilities that it can still recover? may i know what is the difference between ethereum and ethereum classic? is the developer of the said coins the same? Do not be naive. It was clear they had ill intentions from the beginning. Why were they hiding their moves in the first place. If they really were going to return the funds back they should have made it transparent and made public announcements.
They might have ill intentions in the beginning, but they said they will return the ETC. Did the other hacker say the same? Then why has not it been returned yet? Why did they intend to dump the ETC in Poloniex and Kraken? Now that they are threatened with legal action why don't they return the funds immediately? Now they are saying they are hiring lawyers to fix the problem and then return the funds to the DAO holders. But they did not say that the lawyers they hired are from Bity SA. With the current move on btc i think its hard to invest we may see the price rise up again or go down
That's the inherent risks in bitcoin. the price will be ups and downs very quickly. if you can not take advantage of opportunities as possible and do not want to be patient. maybe will you get only loss? I think the bitcoin price could rise to $1200 this time next year. By the end of 2017, the price could be $1600. How can be you so sure that end of 2016 the price will be 1600$ , when we are not even sure what will be the price by the end of this month. I think no perdition is true for bitcoin as it is unpredictable. Yeah no one can predict the price of bitcoin as its simply impossible, its just an speculation of the people but to be honest I think bitcoin reaching to 5 digits will really take very long time. when bitcoin does surpass five digits, it could be that others see it as more legitimate. may be i am wrong, i think the price will reach five digits within 1 year. People get exited when they see their investment at green, soo they sell the coins, its very hard to resist, you invest 5000 dollars and the current size of your coins is worthing 7500 dollars i would sell them, even knowing it can and will hit bigger values. But i agree its better save then support ponzis but not all websites are ponzis.
