1001  Economy / Economics / Re: Which country will be the first to use gold? on: February 07, 2013, 12:44:21 PM
Zimbabwe will be the first, they already do accept gold. Merchants don't accept their currency because the paper is worth more than the funds written on it all they want is gold.

1002  Economy / Economics / Re: Could WoW switch it's currency to just 5 bitcoins per server? on: February 07, 2013, 12:41:22 PM
WoW doesn't allow real world trade. Being able to bring coin would bring real world trade.

Diablo 3 maybe.
1003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stefan Molyneux adds Bitcoin to donations page on: February 07, 2013, 08:13:43 AM
Hope he didn't loose too much.
I think it was about 200 BTC.

WHAT THE FUCK. If you're keeping that many BTC, print paper wallets!

Probably the last thing the dude was thinking.

Though I don't know how SD makes money lol I already made $150 off them today.

From people with a pool understanding of math.  Smiley

I guess lol, so far day I've ever played I won except for once where I accidentally did 10x bets *1 via blockchain when I wanted to do 10x bets *.01 so I did bets on 2 lol.

Well I might just have good luck. .5 on 50% and .01 on 18% bet x1 I always come out on top. I only start losing when I start to bet 1 on 50%

1008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Armory wont open on: February 05, 2013, 12:36:20 AM
Well I had my main hard drive which I turned into an external, + an external which I thought was my backup. I didn't know copying the armory folder didn't copy the wallet too.

Then the main hard drive the armory went corrupt, but I was able to after a nice stressful time figure it out. I loaded armory on the external, but used the main externals settings and wallet information. I was able to make a paper copy, and import it onto my main computer hard drive.

I opened my backup on my external unfortunately my backup doesn't have my wallet info. I'll attempt to load my backup on my otherbackup that the armory is corrupted hopefully I can get the keys that way.
1010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Ummm....misplaced bitcoins???? on: February 03, 2013, 11:16:16 AM
Playing sdice my blockchain.info wallet did the same thing, it was showing I had over $250 in the blockchain wallet when it was only around $180, and the most I had in there was $210 I won playing sdice.
1011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Armory wont open on: February 03, 2013, 10:56:28 AM
When I try to open armory, I'm getting a popup that tells me to look at the armory.exe.

I open it and I'm getting this error

IOErrorL [Erno 13] Permission Denied
Traceback (most recent call last):
   File "ArmoryQT.py", line 41, in <module>
      from armoryengine import
   File "armoryengine.pyc", line 380 in <module>
File "armoryengine.pyc", line 372, in choplogfile

Any advice on how to fix this?

Or

How would I go about getting the coins off armory onto bitcoinqt?

Thanks for any help.

If you did it a month or two ago you would not have regretted the decision, I don't feel like coins are going up much more they went up to fast.
1018  Economy / Goods / Re: Hand-Poured 2 Troy Ounce Silver Ingot on: January 18, 2013, 11:56:36 PM
Not trying to jump in like I was there, but I've done a successful trade for another product, went smooth as can be.

And the claim of impurity I do recall an extra silver coin was sent because it was his first ingot just in case it wasn't on par with purity the extra coin's weight was to cover that.
1019  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW TO SECURELY BUY/SELL BTC LOCALLY? on: January 18, 2013, 09:07:44 AM
Make a blockchain.info wallet, send funds to blockchain if you have a smartphone download the blockchain ap and all you have to do is log into the blocchain hit receive they scan a barcode that pops on your screen and coins are sent. If they rob you they only get access to your blockchain wallet, and not your laptop too.
