4181  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: March 24, 2017, 09:32:25 AM
Well after lots of trading, it seems like my strategy is somewhat different from others:

Buy high, sell low, get rid of hard-earned bitcoins, then earn them again with even a harder way, and finally buy high again, and sell low once again. Get rid of them again. Sad

This reminds me a bit of people asking; why if I buy the price always goes down, and why if I sell the price always goes up?. Actually, your "strategy" is basically the same as from the majority of the people here - it's that trading is a losing game for them. Many of the people here don't have the balls to admit it, but you are an exception here. In some cases people just aren't made for trading, but you seem to realize that you are doing wrong, and that's already a good starting point. Is it BTC/fiat that you trade, or BTC/alt?

Well its BTC/Alt, and you seem very much correct. After every loss, I feel like I've become more experienced.

4183  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks like 2000 next month on: March 23, 2017, 08:46:30 PM
Well that's only possible if we can get rid of the BU and other useless hypes. I don't believe that we'll be getting rid of this all stupid stuff anytime soon.

But still, lets wish bitcoin good luck for the next month!
4184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Ark on Poloniex on: March 23, 2017, 08:41:33 PM
ARK have better tech than LISK, just like BITBAY have better tech than shadowscam or etherieum but people was overlooked.
if this kind of pump happen often people are going to move back to bittrex and making bittrex a superior exchange again.
in my book bittrex already the best exchange, much better than scam fake volume exchange poloniex.

That's very much right.

Whenever a new coin is added, the person who makes the most profit is the ravening owner of Poloniex. With all the fake trades and pumps, with all the dirty tricks, most of the people lose and ultimately, all the profit goes to Polo admin.

People lost millions in recent PASC and ZEC additions to Poloniex. Its definitely getting the time of re-joining Bittrex.
4185  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Android] Bitcoin & Cryptocurrency Rates and Calculator - Free application on: March 23, 2017, 08:36:59 PM
Well I've been using this app for days and would like to keep it for sure! Grin Keeps me updated with the prices all the time.

If possible, in the next update, add the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) as an option to the local currency converter. That'd be great.
4186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Zcash price prediction on: March 23, 2017, 07:58:45 PM
Now the ZCash's price is going to come back to the lows. The founder burnt some of those 20% fee funds and now not going to back it up for some time. While in the mean time, miners are going to simply mine more and more ZCash and trade them up.
4187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v8.1 (Windows/Linux) on: March 21, 2017, 04:39:32 PM
Hello BTC Members.

I have 1 question about graphics card please answer me.

This Model (XFX Radeon RS RX 480 DirectX 12 RX-480P836BM 8GB 256-Bit) https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150774 How many MH/s generating ethereum Today?

Without modding around 25MHs.

And will go up to 29 mh/s modding i'm right?

With Claymore miner's own over-clocking features, it is able to make it over 27.5 MH/s for me.

However, I think if you go cruel on it and over-clock it too much, it'd be able to pass 29 MH/s.
4188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin Comeback 2017? on: March 20, 2017, 08:16:55 PM
Litecoin is very much under-valued right now... currently it is facing the worst times.

I very much believe in its good future and it should get back in the top five altcoins list once again. I'm hoping that developers are working underground for it these days, it should not die this way at all.
4189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: zcash soon 0.2 btc! on: March 20, 2017, 02:31:59 PM
If the price goes below $30, I will start buying.

Well if you need short-term huge-profit, I guess you should buy it.

ZEC doesn't seem long-term promising altcoin, but its good for pumps/dumps in trading, and I'm predicting a pump pretty soon. Should go to around 0.035 BTC each soon.

Very sadly... I recommended it to others and forgot myself. Cry

It has happened with me many times before. I hope someone acted upon my advice the time I posted that.
4190  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dropping like a stone on: March 20, 2017, 02:27:58 PM
...and now bitcoin is re-climbing the hill again... with more spirit...

Fools sold it all out, and since bitcoin doesn't like fools, it made them cry. Grin Now we got rid of them!
4191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What do you guys do to keep mining rigs clean? on: March 19, 2017, 06:40:31 PM
I tried vacuum cleaner from a bit distance, and it worked good but was not able to completely suck the dust from the fan. However, thanks to XFX design, after detaching the fans from GPU's, it cleaned pretty much dust.

Hey guys, it has been a problem for me since the very start of mining. Its really a hard task to dismantle each and every hardware and then clean with a piece of cloth.

Is there any easy way of getting rid of all the dust in mining rigs?

His Question doesn't make any sense...why he don't even know how to clean things..fuck  Angry
This thread is nothing except to increase hi post count for sig campaign lol

Its one of the important threads of the section, where the heck do you live? Is it a place without dirt?

I live at a place where fans are required in room, temperature goes to 35 degrees in this month (in summers, it reaches 43), fans of the GPU work at full speed all the time... and the mining rigs get very dusty often.
4192  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dropping like a stone on: March 19, 2017, 11:43:21 AM
Any idea hy bitcoin is dropping so fast? Last night i was expecting it to go back up a little so i could take some money out of it and put it in ETH, but now i'd sell with a significant loss. What made it drop?
.

We peaked. Sentiment changed.  ETF denial combined with possible BTU hard fork has spooked the market.

Wait for the bottom, perhaps $800-$900(?) and buy in if you're a gambler, or HODL if you're stoic.
I would like to this words come true. I am waiting for the time to bitcoin fall to buy some. And if the fall is going to be so low - I am gladly ready to it happen.

I'm pretty sure there would be a strong resistance at 980 USD, so I believe its still a good time to buy bitcoin right now.

BU cannot crush bitcoin, it can only decrease its value and demand to some little extent, and that can't be less than $850 at maximum decrease.
4193  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Android] Bitcoin & Cryptocurrency Rates and Calculator - Free application on: March 19, 2017, 10:42:38 AM
Never knew about this app, I wanted something like this in my android device.

Going to download it right away and let ya know if I feel there should be any improvement. Smiley
4194  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 18, 2017, 09:48:33 PM
So all of this bullshit is just BU?? Really? Thats what is causing this move downward? Surely there must be something else going on!

Why would you need something else going on? It'll be a total shit storm if we get a hard fork.

The shit storm is already going on. BUcoin hardfork is already priced in!

No it's not

Yes, it is. Chances of a hard fork happening are already above 90%. I'd advise SW pools to switch temporarily to BU and activate the fork then switch back to Core. Better give psychopaths their BUcoin and get rid of those bitcoin haters.

I would say chances that we see a BU-fork in 2017 are 20% at the moment. They need a significant majority in hashpower, something like 80% and that's hard to get.

Yes, and I'm 100% sure that they can't get that huge hash-power.

Bitcoin price is going to recover soon, I believe there is some other cause to this dump of bitcoin's value, it doesn't seem like BU is the cause of it.
4195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What do you guys do to keep mining rigs clean? on: March 18, 2017, 08:46:10 PM
Well that seems like a solution, but if I use vacuum cleaner, could that make any problem?

I'm just worried with all the internal wires, if any of the internal wires of graphics cards gets broke, it could be an issue.
4196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Even now in 2017, why is bitcoin *still* not accepted as a major currency? on: March 18, 2017, 08:28:49 PM
That's because its decentralized, no one owns it. No one cares to tell about it to other people, but only wants its value and volume to get higher.

Bitcoin might trounce conventional currencies in an unspectacular way, but it could take time.
4197  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 18, 2017, 08:19:18 PM
...yesterday I sold my all ZEC for BTC, and those ZEC were more than a hundred days old, purchased at a very higher rate...

Man, I'm pathetic at trading, very very pathetic, but can't get rid of trading despite of all the losses. Cry

Yes the dump is finished. Finally. Smiley

Who will miss out on cheap coins?

At least I'm not going to miss it out.

Going to convert all my altcoins to bitcoin within the next one hour in all exchanges.
4200  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I found a way to topup/recharge your phone with BTC on: March 18, 2017, 10:46:26 AM
I've been using it for years, and it works great every time.

Few days back, I used Cryptonator as well to recharge my phone and it worked good that time.
