4461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / 4 RX 480 8 GB with 750 Watts Power supply? on: September 22, 2016, 04:55:39 PM
I'm planning to purchase one more RX 480 for my mining rig, as there is a slot for it left on the motherboard. Currently I'm with 3 RX 480 8 GB with a 750 Watts PSU (it's Corsair CX750M).

Do you guys think that the system will just be fine if I plug in one more RX 480 8 GB? Is someone around here already running 4 of these graphics cards on 750 Watts PSU?
4462  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: September 22, 2016, 02:52:22 PM
Bitcoin is born to become a global currency, Internet now known as global village, should have a global currency as well. Bitcoin has the potential to replace the US Dollar on internet, and honestly, it has already started to do that.

WOW ETC is rising fast guys

Microsoft is Sponsoring ETC tomorrow

Back to new ATH, dont miss the train

GO GO ETC!!!

The king of Immutability  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

After reading your post, I thought that ETC must have reached $1.50... But seems like it's still in the phase of recovering the yesterday's high price.

4464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX480 (Reference) 31+Mh, Custom Rom on: September 22, 2016, 02:37:31 PM
I have noticed, that after reboot sometimes core clock is fixed to 300MHz or 608MHz. It results 7MHz or 15MHz hashrate in Claymore. To fix this i need to reboot or change core clock manually. I tried running DDU and installing fresh drivers but still no luck.

Has anyone experienced similiar problem?

29MH Low Power bios
Tested on 1xAsus RX 480(Reference) 8gb and 1xMSI RX 480(Reference) 8gb independently
Windows 7 SP1 x64
Latest radeon drivers(16.9.1)

Didn't you try to modify the core clock through the WattMan located in the graphics driver? If you're now not able to do that, I'd suggest you to install Windows 10 and have a fresh install of drivers.
4465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Someone here mining MYR right now? on: September 22, 2016, 12:43:28 PM
Just saw on WhatToMine.com that MYR (Myriad-Groestl) is one of the most profitable altcoins to mine right now with 280x, someone here mining it? I wish to keep some of these, for future. Which miner would be the best to use for it?
4466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What to mine with 1gb older cards on: September 21, 2016, 09:32:44 PM
I don't think so that you'll be able to mine any coin with any profit with those old 1 GB graphics cards, until and unless you have extremely cheap electricity. All you can do is give Monero a try though, and see how the mining goes with those cards.
4467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin less evil than PayPal? on: September 21, 2016, 09:19:41 PM
Bitcoin is not at all evil if compared with PayPal, and it can never be as it's a technology, not controlled by anyone. I remember the days PayPal used to be a big headache for me, and for most of the online sellers, specially if you are from any worse country. Limitations, reversals, disputes, everything filled in with a big quantity.

I still use PayPal, but the usage of it has been declined. Since I keep two options for the customers to pay me with, bitcoin and PayPal, the ratio has now become somewhat like 50% 50%.
4468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ETH] [SIA] [ETC] NANOPOOL. Stable, User-friendly pool with great User Interface on: September 21, 2016, 08:22:19 PM
I tried this pool few months back and it was working pretty good back then, is it still as good as before? I'm planning on switching from EthPool to NanoPool, the pure reason is the withdraw-able amount duration.

Well I've been mining with this pool since the day I left the above comment, and I must admit that it's still great. Payments every like 6 hours and mining without any delay or hack. Smiley

Going to try the dual mine soon. I've been mining only ETC till now.
4469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Working overseas need a hobby. Advice XMR rig? Free power. on: September 21, 2016, 04:08:54 PM
In case of free power, get 380x's, you'll consume more power but will generate more hash rate through lesser investment. If you want the rig to be efficient, get the RX 480's or GTX 1070's.

Do you prefer a custom built computer system or ready-made computer system? If you want a custom built, see the suggestions above my post, if you want ready-made, go with Dell Precision T7500.
4470  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 【Bitcoin Debit Card UQUID】 No ID Required |Multi Cards Buy Supported | 0% Fees on: September 21, 2016, 12:55:06 PM
Is it possible to use it in Pakistan & Dubai? Can the card be used in deposits & withdrawals through Payza?
4471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU led lights on: September 21, 2016, 12:50:45 PM
i have 100 Nitro's running and i turned on the led indication color for the heath of the PCB Board
Checked my power meter and it was at 10.43kW, i turned them all off and i checked again. 10.42kW.
So i put them back on :p

100? Nice, pretty great amount, wish I had that much too to mine with. Tongue

Single GPU carrying LED light doesn't take more than a watt. I'd never suggest you to turn it off since it looks pretty beautiful than the money saved with a watt.
4472  Economy / Services / Re: Write a quality review and earn 0.02 BTC on: September 19, 2016, 09:41:38 PM
I'd definitely like to provide my review. Since I do write optimized articles and tutorials, I guess it'd be a good choice to choose me. Tongue
4473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.5 on: September 19, 2016, 08:17:52 PM
Is it more profitable to mine ETH/ETC right now or the XMR? Talking about the Claymore's GPU miners by the way, using my 3x XFX RX 480 8 GB.
4474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: September 19, 2016, 05:26:25 PM
I buy the XMR with an expensive price Angry

HODL

I still don't have idea why people buy when the coin reach the Euphoria... noobs...

Yeap, now hold for a year or two, still have potential.

LOL.. C'mon... a year or two? That's a bit pessimistic, IMO, but hey we all have our thoughts as to what will happen. Smiley

I buy the XMR with an expensive price Angry
I have also bought some in very high price like 0.023 to 0.0215 and now panic after seeing so much dump. But i think if i don't sell i will not loss any so basically waiting for another good pump so that i can sell mine at even higher price than i have bought at.

Same here. No problem with me, I don't constantly watch the price anymore, I'm over it. The coin has a future, whether or not you believe in it.

Monero are now looking like this

Yeap, wait a year or two Tongue

According to that image analysis, the price of XMR should come back to $2, so I'll wait for that to buy. Tongue Great comments on the chart though.
4475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Starting mining rig on: September 18, 2016, 09:10:34 PM
First of all, set your budget. You'll finish up on purchasing some crap stuff if you don't investigate before your purchase. Check the model numbers, text written on the stickers, etc. Investigate around here then before purchasing it. Any GPU of less than 2 GB memory size is absolutely worthless in mining, you need some good graphics cards.
4476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 7x PCIe Mainboards that work with 7 video cards on: September 18, 2016, 08:42:47 PM
Well make it 5x to 7x PCIe motherboards list and it would be good to know too, since most people are going to use 5-6 graphics cards in a mining rig at the maximum. The list is pretty helpful though, I like it.

Why just motherboards? Maybe a list of even the branded computer systems (like of Dell or Lenovo) would be good to know carrying at least 5 PCIe slots.
4477  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: September 18, 2016, 07:18:04 PM
With 10 BTC, I'd invest 5 BTC in trading and 5 BTC in Altcoin GPU mining. These two would be the best options to hold the bitcoins in my opinion. Simply buying Ethereum Classic (ETC) would be a good option too at the moment.
4478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 480 vs 390x vs 390 with ETH mining on: September 18, 2016, 05:59:38 PM
390 is pretty much the best choice to have, as long as your electricity cost is cheap. Probably a perfect choice for you, very nice per unit price you got there, makes my mouth watery. Tongue I've $0.15/kWh so that's why I use RX 480.
4479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX480 (Reference) 31+Mh, Custom Rom on: September 18, 2016, 05:56:31 PM
Does this BIOS also apply for the XFX Radeon RX480 RS?

Well I tried to apply those BIOS on my XFX versions, the Windows 10 crashed, and immediately an error appeared. I repeated the process and same error occurred again. You can try as well, but make sure that you try with one GPU first. I didn't lose anything after the restart by the way.
4480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What Altcoins can i get? on: September 17, 2016, 06:14:35 PM
Sorry, I'd not like to suggest you to burn your laptop off. Mining any altcoin with the laptop is worthless, you'll lose more in electricity cost than the value of altcoin mined. Either set up the GPU mining machine (with great graphics cards) or forget the mining, buy the altcoins instead.
