Tell them with a reply that $600k is pretty low amount, what about $6 million?

No Amir, no Yasir today. Pakistan's bowling is gonna be weak today. Seems like England is going to beat them single-handed once again. Pakistan needs Afridi in this ground. Sharjeel could be the replacement of Afridi but seems like he's already out.

and... we just got a good bump! Price finally broke off the $1.20 line.

I'm going to connect the 750 Watt PSU (Corsair CX750M) with the whole system which contains 3x XFX RX 480 8 GB, someone around here carrying any past experience with this PSU?

so ETC finished now? Dropped to 185k sats... will this one ever see a XMR type of pump? Dropping from 650k to 500k then 400k, 2 weeks ago 300k, last week 250k, now below 200k... what is next? 0 sats?
...and I bought 200 ETC heck at 500k satoshi each, still holding them. Hoping to see a pump, sooner or later. BTW, why do bitcointalk'ers always create panic around if the price goes up and down a bit? If there is a negative little percentage in the value of altcoin, they say "it's all going down the hill to zero", and if there is a positive little percentage in the value, people around say "it's going to beat bitcoin soon!". I remember that the people around here have misguided me twice in buying and selling ETH.

Sad to hear that, I was expecting at the least 25 Mh/s in dual mode. Haven't you tried changing drivers/OS/tweaks? What about the pre-included CD driver in the box? Did you try that?
I did not tried 16.7.2 (drivers from box) - probably will give a last chance them tonight I'm working with Windows only - so did not try *nix Only tweaks you can play around are with Wattman, which is unbelievable piece of shit Well I'm looking forward towards the results you get with the 16.7.2 driver, as most of the miners are using it. I'm going to get my hands off on 3x of these versions of XFX RX 480 in a week. Which mobo are you using by the way?

Hey, I'm going to get 3x of that RX 480 version too, how has been your experience till now? I'd definitely like to know that. Which OS and which miner are you using? Are you using PCI-E x16 2.0 version or the 3.0 version?
I've got the cards They are very disappointing: 1) GPU clock is more or less standard - 1288MHz 2) 6 pin power 3) There is zero card control with Wattman using newest drivers 16.8.2 4) Mining in dual mode 22.4MHs (ETH) and 460MHs (SIA) So card is not aftermarket, rather looks like standard Sad to hear that, I was expecting at the least 25 Mh/s in dual mode. Haven't you tried changing drivers/OS/tweaks? What about the pre-included CD driver in the box? Did you try that?

I am running 5 RX 480 on a windows 7 on a nanopool. A rough calculation is that I make $150 a month from all 5 cards. My investment into it is about $2000 and my ROI is about a year. Are my calculation right??
You will never ROI when ETH goes PoS. There always has been an altcoin present to mine with GPU. After ethereum, we can mine Krypton, Expanse, Shift, etc. @mewhoyou, in my opinion, you'll eventually ROI, even if ETH doesn't remain PoW.

Would you mind telling that which motherboard are you using to place all 4 RX 480 on it? I'd definitely like to know that how much watts PSU you're using with it and what's your room temperature as well.

Guys, I'm almost done buying the following stuff:
Graphics Cards: 3x XFX Radeon RX 480 GTR OC 8GB - RX-480P8DFA6 Motherboard: GIGABYTE - Socket 775 - GA-EP35-DS3P Riser: PCIe x1 to x16 Powered Extender (Over 1m USB 3.0 Cable) (USB 3.0 A with Molex) PSU: Corsair CX750M 750W Watt Bronze Power Supply
Two out of three graphics will directly be connected with the motherboard (as there are 2 x16 PCI-e slots) and one will use the extender through x1 slot on the motherboard. Windows 10 x64 will be used as an OS.
Do you guys think that I'll be able to secure 85 Mh/s with this specification of the system using Claymore GPU miner? Someone here got any past experience with any of this stuff?
You can get ~24.8 per card, perhaps up to 27 if you OC the memory a lot. So more like 75 stock. Are you saying that on some base? Have you tried off any of those? I'm pretty much looking forward for some suggestions/reviews. By the way, does Claymore mining work good with Windows 10 x64?

I answered " what is government " because as a teenager who lived in a country governed by dirty dying old politicians who look at the new generation as a threat to their depressing system, I used from my childhood to revolute to their oppression and I don't wait for any good change from them : They banned YouTube : we use proxy They banned social networks : we use the Tor browser They don't give us access to international cards : we use Bitcoin and other ways They ban Bitcoin (after understanding what is it) : we will find a way to throw their pow papers and continue to use it Are you talking about Turkey as this is the only country in the world which has banned youtube so far to my knowledge. They banned social networks after some revolts happened there. What ever they try to do they cannot oppress you as long as you have bitcoin. Now it remains only one thing which needs to be cleared here and that is how will you convert bitcoin in cash and receive it since the government has made so much restrictions. The only way is to sell bitcoin locally but that is very dangerous given the situation described by you. The ban of Youtube & social networks is pretty common here in Pakistan & in Arabian countries. Now for the topic, I'd keep using bitcoin if government makes it illegal until and unless there is extreme restriction, which is probably not gonna happen.

Sorry but ETC will be continuing to go down for the time being. How long and how low is the question and it is not looking good because the hash power is also going down. No miner is willing to support the network for free and they are leaving slowly one by one.
This will not look good for those who fight for blockchain immutability and true decentralization.
Uhm... I am not aware that ETC miners did not get anything out of mining ETC. Why is that so? Of course they get... otherwise why the coin is still alive? Every time the coin goes up in price, the hash rate goes up in price too. The hash rate follows the price, and not the opposite. Miners will mine whatever coin is going up. Even with the current low value of ETC, it's still the most profitable one to mine with GPU, almost equal to ETH. I don't think so that miners are leaving it one by one as bbc.reporter said above, probably a false BBC report. As far as I can see, miners are entering one by one, not leaving.

If i were u , i would go for AMD cards not Nvidia.
Read my last reply here in the thread, I'm looking for RX 480's/others... If you've any experience with any of the graphics cards shown in the above URL's, please lemme know.

Why are you starting multiple threads? Your questions are all about you so one thread is more than enough. There is always ongoing discussion of the questions you asked. You could learn a lot more by reading instead of asking for personalized service.
Multiple? Well this is a second one... I realized what you said right after creating the second one, but honestly, I didn't close it because it can help the ones who are having this question at the moment.

Guys, I've $1600 to spend, out of which $1200-$1300 will be spent upon graphics cards only. In remaining $300-$400, I've to get the full computer system (along with the PSU), trying to make the remaining computer system maximum cheap by the way.
Please recommend me the preferred configuration.

the good thing about mining is the resale value, which is very high for a brand new gpu, so in the remote case that everything went wrong, you can reselle asily your gpu
You seem to be very active in altcoin mining, may I ask a few questions from you? How much and which GPU's have you currently been running on your CPU? Do you think any new/old GPU is better than the one which you are currently running? Do you use SLi bridge? Which CPU do you own? How much hashrate are you getting overall and at what power? How much and which coin are you generating these days? Which PSU are you using? i have just one rig full of 1070, i can not expand farther right now, the cost of electricity here in 2018 will be reduced greatly so i'm waiting for that to have my little farm no i don't think old gpu are better, 1070 currently is the best thing for mining not just ethereum and on etheruem has also the best hash/watt ratio sli is useless in mining, for the cpu the 1840 is the one that everyone use, with six 1070 on lbry you can make 1800MH for just around 1000w Still a few questions in my mind... How many 1070 in your one full rig? Which editions of 1070 do you own? Which PSU do you use? Which CPU do you use along with which configuration?
