4521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think I should rely on altcoin GPU mining? on: August 17, 2016, 04:47:02 PM
the good thing about mining is the resale value, which is very high for a brand new gpu, so in the remote case that everything went wrong, you can reselle asily your gpu

You seem to be very active in altcoin mining, may I ask a few questions from you? How much and which GPU's have you currently been running on your CPU? Do you think any new/old GPU is better than the one which you are currently running? Do you use SLi bridge? Which CPU do you own? How much hashrate are you getting overall and at what power? How much and which coin are you generating these days? Which PSU are you using?
4522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think I should rely on altcoin GPU mining? on: August 17, 2016, 02:14:21 PM
it was not temporary, 6 months ago, i doubt it can fall now, there is a well built infrastructure now, big investments all over the place, it will not collapse any time soon

when bitcoin will reocover from the last hack and okcoin shit, things will be very interesting, this is just another dead time...

May I ask that what exactly you mean by "any time soon"? A month, year or what?

According to whattomine.com, currently if I buy 10 of those GPU's, I'll be making $20 profit every day right now.

no one know but if bitcoin increase everything else will follow and everything will be very profitable again, with a big margin

should be more than $20, anyway lately all the profit went down a bit, but it happen all the time, the profit is never stable here...

Well I'm pretty much aware of the ups and downs in crypto-currencies, as I'm involved in altcoin trading as well and currently mining ETC with my single R9 390. Though IMO along with a few hopes, the value of bitcoin is gonna increase.

I'm thinking of spending all my current saved money on nVidia GTX 1070's (get 10-20 of the pieces) and start some good GPU mining.

Do you guys think that it's still temporary?
4525  Economy / Collectibles / Re: ***125 old & rare coins for 0.80 BTC (final offer, no auction)*** on: August 15, 2016, 06:13:35 PM
is it allowed to ship COINS?

Well that's a good question. I'll ask that from DHL/TCS tomorrow morning. Till that time, I'd like to lock up the thread. If the answer would be positive, I'll open it back.

I live in India and if you go to any Grey Markets here, the coins would be sold for less than $1!I'm saying this because OP is from India and I'm pretty sure the coins he has are picked up from somewhere nearby.I can literally visit the gray markets and find such old coins sold for pennies.Nothing against the OP but he is asking way too much for them.

I'm not from India...
4526  Economy / Collectibles / Re: ***125 old & rare coins for 0.80 BTC (final offer, no auction)*** on: August 15, 2016, 06:01:06 PM
just sell it to your relative for .75 and then you dont have to ship it its the same as getting .8 and having to ship it.

No mate, he is in Canada, costing me an extreme shipping cost too.
4527  Economy / Collectibles / Re: ***125 old & rare coins for 0.80 BTC (final offer, no auction)*** on: August 15, 2016, 02:24:59 PM
UPDATE: I've been unable to get any bid for 1 to 1.5 BTC, and got an offer of just 0.75 BTC right now. I'd like to squeeze more off from these coins so I'd like to offer all of them (along with DHL free delivery & few old paper money) for just 0.80 BTC. Full & final offer.
4528  Economy / Collectibles / Re: ***[Auction] of 125 old & rare coins - Starting from 1 BTC [WTA]*** on: August 15, 2016, 11:08:12 AM
Guys, I already have an offer of 0.75 BTC from one of my relatives, but I feel that it's very low. I've further lowered the starting bid to 1 BTC, hoping to see a few bids now.

I'd not like to sell specifically because of shipping problem, I don't trust much of my postal service (Pakistan) as they sometimes fail to deliver and fail to return too (which means the mail is lost), so I'd only like to use TCS/DHL/Fedex/etc. and it's only good if I sell in bulk, otherwise it'd be too costly.

Anyways, would someone like to bid 1 BTC now?
4529  Economy / Collectibles / Re: ***[Auction] of 125 old & rare coins - Starting from 1.25 BTC [WTA]*** on: August 14, 2016, 04:52:33 PM
After receiving no bid for hours, I've decided to lower the starting bid to 1.25 BTC and minimum increment to 0.05 BTC...
4530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: August 14, 2016, 12:05:29 PM
Pakistani team doing hard efforts to get it very close to make this match easy for it to win, England still trail by 20 runs and it 6 wickets at the moment and that is very good benefit which is taken by Pakistani bowlers into this test match, now Pakistan has very strong grip on this match and it looking it will win this match.

Predicting to see the push-ups of Pakistani team after the win... Thanks to Younus Khan for taking the score high to the sky. Wanted the inning defeat but still a simple win is pretty good too, specially against England and in England.
4531  Economy / Collectibles / Re: ***[Auction] of 125 old & rare coins - Starting from 1.5 BTC [WTA]*** on: August 14, 2016, 11:21:06 AM
If the first one to bid wins, I'll give him these paper money for free!

4532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you like to get the private key for any address you want? on: August 13, 2016, 11:54:34 PM
In that case, if someone somehow figures that glitch out, the bitcoin's value will go down to zero, so it'd be useless to get the private key for any address. Stupid question as well as thread BTW. Tongue
4533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is BTC-E still considered a trusted site? on: August 13, 2016, 11:13:31 PM
Well I used it a couple of times like 2 months back but then stopped using it because of some rumors, etc. After reading this thread, I logged in again to my BTC-E account and every thing seems to be perfect there right now, just like before.
4534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: August 13, 2016, 11:04:20 PM

It seems the DAO ETC will be returned to the original owners. So there will be 7 more million ETC on the market.

In that case, a dump is coming soon. Well good for me, I'll buy some more and add more to my current collection of ETC. Anyways, I'm still enjoying Ethereum Classic on altcoin trading!

I'd like to auction off 125 of very old and rare coins, which I got from my father. Bitcoin as a payment processor is accepted. TCS Red Box or DHL will be used for the delivery, the shipping cost is included in the bid, so you don't have to worry about that. If you're very trusted here, then I can send you the coins first (and only take the little percentage of it at first to cover the shipping cost), but if you're new here, then it'd be so nice of you if you can simply trust me and send me the payment first, but I'd welcome escrow if you insist, the middle-man must be very senior here though.

4536  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Someone here collecting old coins? on: August 13, 2016, 09:38:20 PM
116 coins details have been updated along with images. I'll sell off/auction off a total of 125 coins, and the remaining 25 coins, I'm gonna keep'em myself.

Guys, I'm open to offers before the big auction! Wink
4537  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Someone here collecting old coins? on: August 13, 2016, 05:03:01 PM
That's some list of coins you have there and a nice collection, well done.

Do you have a Australian $200 coin, these were a limited mint made in 1981

Sorry, don't have that Australian coin.

I'd suggest splitting them up and making a few auctions or just making one big auction, I know i'd be in for a bid.

I'm for sure thinking about one big auction, but till that, open to offers! Wink
4538  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Someone here collecting old coins? on: August 13, 2016, 10:02:04 AM
1/2 Pice (1915)
1/12 Anna (1927)
1/2 Pice (1939)
10 Paisa (1966)
2 Rupees (1982)
12 Paisa (1983)

Can you post some pics of the specific coins highlighted above. I was just growing curious as I do not have any 1/12 Anna coins and 12 Paisa coins. Please post the pictures of the coins listed above, I want to see them.

You can easily google the image of those coins, but if you want to see the ones which I own, wait till night. I'll be uploading more pictures at night.
4539  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Someone here collecting old coins? on: August 12, 2016, 10:22:18 PM
Updated the list with another 9 coins and their image, these 9 belong to Germany.

BTW Guys! I'm having a heck of trouble in identifying these extremely old coins! Can someone around here help?

http://i.imgsafe.org/e4b61eac1b.jpg

At least two of them seem to be part of Mughal Emperor coins.
4540  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Someone here collecting old coins? on: August 12, 2016, 02:31:09 PM
The list has been updated with another 10 coins and their image.
