4201  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin price is crazy or its just preev.com on: March 18, 2017, 10:43:16 AM
There was some strange price fluctuation with just one or two useless exchanges upon which Preev's rate depends.

I wonder if Preev could get rid of the useless exchanges on which it depends, for me, average price of bitcoin at Poloniex, Bittrex & LocalBitcoins is fine.
4202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is 21million BTC really enough for the wole world? on: March 16, 2017, 07:52:57 PM
Only time can tell... IMO, that's enough, at least for our life-times.

...however, this could become one of the reasons of sky-rocket price of bitcoin. Either it will go very up, or in the worst case, very down.
4203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zclassic, Zcash Fork No Premine, No 20% Founders Tax on: March 15, 2017, 07:05:06 PM
Oh wow, the price isn't calming, constantly going up.

There may be a dump in upcoming hours, as far as I can guess, but this has definitely shown that if ZCL can go up to 0.002 BTC in a few hours, it can go up to 0.02+ BTC as well in future. One of the best altcoins to keep.
4204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Zcash price will go upto $1000 [Hold your coins] on: March 12, 2017, 09:08:14 PM
in dreams price go again $1000 Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

It depends on the timing. Its price was over $10,000 a few months ago.
I am really sad to say that you live in a hyped up world and you are ignorant .The initial price was like that because there were no coins floating in the exchanges and with the hype they had surrounding the release it was quite obvious that it will fetch a good price and i knew that the price would come down and it is simply because of the amount of money and share the core has and it will be the download of this coin.

Yeah, its very usual for all the new coins that come in.

Other than that, I'm pretty sure that at that time, Poloniex admin was the only one making millions out of this ZEC. His fake trades and bad tactics were crossing limits that time.

ZEC won't be going that high, but I do believe that somewhat like $100 each ZEC might be possible in far future.
4205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v8.0 (Windows/Linux) on: March 10, 2017, 06:49:11 PM
I don't understand, it happens on regular bases, miner is working with 3xRX480 and suddenly one card drops to 7MH/s-4MH/s and then the OpenCL error appears, why it happens or what is the cure ?

Most probably you're over-clocking too much or under-volting too much. If that's the case, try mining with some less values.

Else see the temperature of the graphics cards, check if any of those is getting over-heated. If everything's alright here and there, you might have to change the driver and OS.
4206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: zcash soon 0.2 btc! on: March 06, 2017, 03:54:07 PM
The current price $41.33-฿0.0339

The price gradually rising which is all good, we may see it @ $50 again once the btc price rally subsides after a week.

I think it will be $50 in the next few weeks.

Will there be any good news soon?
I don't understand what's the news drive the price of zcash right now. But the current situation the price of zcash is always down and i think we will see it back to the $30 asap.

Myself, I hope it does go to $30 and even lower for the near future. It is still too early in its life-cycle to make and maintain any significant price rise. Except for a brief launch high, Ethereum traded under $1 for the first several months before starting to climb. Bitcoin traded for years under $1, and for only a few pennies at first.

I believe we have at least until the fall before we see any big moves up, and maybe even into early 2018. This is still the very early accumulation phase and the only reason it is considered gloom and doom now was the crazy high launch prices. That those prices were absurdly high should have been obviously to anyone and I think even today's ~$40 price is a bit high for where it is at developmentally.

If the price goes below $30, I will start buying.

Well if you need short-term huge-profit, I guess you should buy it.

ZEC doesn't seem long-term promising altcoin, but its good for pumps/dumps in trading, and I'm predicting a pump pretty soon. Should go to around 0.035 BTC each soon.
4207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction Fees are SPIKING ! on: March 02, 2017, 01:57:07 PM
Its really weird for me to see people calling a few cents "spiking fees". I very recently sent someone more than a hundred dollars worth bitcoin with only a single dollar fee and it went smoother than ever.

This is not an issue, at least not now. Roll Eyes No need to create panic for it.
may not be too high if you send a lot of money using bitcoin, but what about someone who does small deals between 0.0005-0.01 btc. of course fee  0.0001 btc will only prolong your transactions?

Everyone should avoid single small values like those.

If small numbers have to be sent, send to many people with good fee. Manage the number of payments somehow. That's what I do. Just don't let the fee be lowered, increase the number of receivers instead in a single transaction.

The problem in this approach would be not all people have multiple transaction.  One example is myself.  I only transact one transaction at a time.  I do not have business or whatever that need to send lots of transaction daily.  So I cannot get any kind of discount here since I need to pay the whole transaction fee with just a single receiver in a transaction.

Well... either increase the number of transactions you make or the amount of bitcoin you send, otherwise bear off the half dollar fee of bitcoin quietly! Tongue

into 0.0001btc, i will consider buying it

u still waiting for 0.0001 ?? Smiley

Well... I did warn him that time... Grin
4209  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: February 26, 2017, 11:57:15 PM
In simple words, PayPal is a bank and Bitcoin is an asset. So you're comparing two things un-comparable things like Gold and Bank.

These two can only be compared in terms of sending/receiving fee, and in that case, bitcoin is still far better.

4211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you always missed the right time to sell/buy bitcoin? on: February 26, 2017, 11:50:03 PM
Well... the title of this thread suits me a lot in my opinion. It has happened a lot of times in past. I had chance of keeping almost a thousand bitcoins before 2013, I didn't take it. I sold a lot of my hard-earned bitcoins at the rate of $250 each in 2015... and since then, it happens on and off. Undecided
4212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is 1000 btc Possible on: February 26, 2017, 11:45:54 PM
If you're honest and innocent, there's no way you're going to reach this amount at the current value of bitcoin without any extremely major investment.

You should consider an aim for lesser amount. Somewhat like 100 bitcoins which is pretty much possible within a few years, depending on your skills.
4213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 main mistakes of Bitcoin newbies on: February 26, 2017, 11:40:23 PM
Nice tips for newbies, and even pros sometimes forget those tips.

This article have missed to cover about low fee newbies used to put to save cost on payments leading unconfirmed transaction for many hours. That will make them panic about bitcoin and they will start blaming bitcoin network for it and some may even opt out from the idea of using bitcoin again.  Grin

That's a must for the newbie tips. I remember I even sent someone some bitcoins with almost no fee back in 2013 and it never confirmed.
4214  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Doubling bitcoins??? on: February 26, 2017, 11:33:01 PM
"If you think that something is too good to be true, then it probably is."

Don't mess up with such systems, they are only doubling their own bitcoins, not yours.

These Ponzis/HYIPs have definitely benefited a lot from crypto-currencies.
4215  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info new interface on: February 26, 2017, 11:30:27 PM
New blockchain.info user interface seems more like Windows 8. I do like it more than the previous one.

I have to agree that the new interface is more slick. But they really need to restore the option to get your private key.
Not being able to export your keys is dangerous.

That can't be the case. They have definitely not changed a single function. Contact their support and ask where the option has been shifted.
4216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: where can i buy and sell bitcoins at cheap cost on: February 26, 2017, 11:26:32 PM
Localbitcoins.com is probably the best place to buy/sell bitcoins. Safe, easy and cheap. You'll get the best rate there.

However, if you're looking for a whole bitcoin for $1000, then sorry, there's no place for that anywhere right now.
4217  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is BTC's maximum target price/ceiling? on: February 26, 2017, 11:16:23 PM

Hahaha, yeah, thats how it must be represented. Though that Lamborghini is a little off. Bitcoin price might increase more the next years, but I dont think that it will be reaching a price that you can buy a car out of it. It may be, but not these years.

That's probably the best way of telling the future value of bitcoin. It seems pretty much impossible, but well, lets hope for the best, hope for the Lamborghini for a single bitcoin. Wink
4218  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: February 26, 2017, 11:10:22 PM
Trading is unpredictable job for sure, but money management is not. Just my 2 cents.
but i think trading is predictable job but only for those people who ave good experience in trading, they know the good and bad time in trading  and most of the time they really give a good prediction about bitcoin, which proof as correct.

Even very skilled traders won't reach a 70% rate of successful prediction which can heavily damage your capital especially if you don't know when to cut your looses.
You are right its not easy job even you are very good in trading because its completely unpredictable if you are going to do any experiment then this can kill you because its just like gamble any thing can happen any time

Trading is predictable if you know how to do it.  If you trade blindly then it is really predictable.  What I am trying to say is trading have some indicators that will give you hints on the movement of the market.  We should learn this skill if we want to profit in trading.

Experience is something traders build up during years of intensive trading. Even the best traders in the market can't always rely on their skills as the market remains unpredictable, unless you are the one moving the market. The far majority (95%) of the people that are trading only suffer losses. These losses are flowing into the pockets of the lucky (5%) elite.

Well than 95% to 5% ratio definitely scares me, and tells the reason why I always end up with a loss.

The one thing which I've learned with my trading is that, trading can't workout as a secondary job. You have to have full focus. Good knowledge of what you're buying and why you think its going to have its value increased in near future is definitely required. Without knowledge, there is a good chance that you'll end up being in that 95% losers.
4219  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: February 26, 2017, 09:45:02 PM
Gold! Bitcoin is safe when the world is safe. World is heading towards WW3. We can experience power outages. No power - no bitcoin acces.

well, gold will probably always be used even when Internet access disappears, but you can bitcoin doubled in a short time, and it can make a profit very much, even 40% of the money you have in one day. but it also requires skill and very much information.
Yes, gold has no concern with internet, bitcoin is depending on internet and it is difficult to use bitcoin without internet, but I think in the modern world it is not possible to think about the world without internet. As we are also depending on internet for so many other things.

LOL, if the World War 3 actually happens, the whole lot of Earth's people would die. Weapons have become extra-ordinarily strong, things are much different than last world war.

In that scenario, both, the gold and bitcoin would be purely useless. Tongue
