4261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pascal Coin is going to be a major breakthrough on: January 26, 2017, 12:36:53 PM
No, Pascal coin is nothing major.

It's just an over-hyped altcoin because it got listed at Poloniex, that's all.

It'd be useless after few days as soon as stuff gets calmed out at Poloniex.
4262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zclassic, Zcash Fork No Premine, No 20% Founders Tax on: January 26, 2017, 12:26:46 PM
Hello all!

The ZClassic team has been hard at work at porting over over the wallet to be Windows x64 compatible. We are happy to be releasing an experimental build of our work in progress. This build will allow you to send and receive t-address transactions and also receive z-address transactions.

We're still hard at work on porting over some other portions of the code and you can expect us to release a new version very soon!

Installation instructions: https://zdeveloper.org/wiki:zclassic_windows_install
Feel free to reach out to us at https://rocketchat.zdeveloper.org

Great! Going to try out the Windows x64 version...

The profitability of mining of ZCL is same as ZEC right now. Smiley A little pump to ZCL could make it more profitable to mine than ZEC.
4263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 25, 2017, 08:43:47 PM
Today third T20 match between South Africa and Sri Lanka. Currently, this series is equalled after both teams winning one each game and this match become critical for both teams to win the series. Since it is short format game so any team can win the match if any one or two players click for the day and hit big runs. SA looks stronger and also they are playing on home pitches but I will wait for match to start to guess the winner.
South Africa will win this match. The last match they made the very low score, so they lost the game, but they bowled well the match went to last over. So today I think they will not repeat the same mistake. Still, we cannot guess this T20 format games anything can happen in a single over. So better go with live betting.

Since it is just a 20 overs match we can't say who is going win now because both teams are strong teams especially in this T20 matches. But SL is not that good in playing the fast track, but still, they can give a surprise to SA bowlers. But I will not bet on this match instead I will watch it, if I get a free time. Hopefully it will be a good match to get some entertainment.

It is going to be good match because both team have equal chances because both teams are very good at T20 match. Both teams are having a quality players so it is going tough match for both the teams.
A very good and timely come back by New and Young Sri Lankan side they beat proteas at home in this series this could be very good for them for coming ODI series and make this more interested I like Sri Lankan's they are very good and fighters need some more experience

Wow, a victory on the second last ball. It was an extra-ordinary performance by new middle-order batsmen of Sri Lanka. At one point, I almost felt that Sri Lanka wasn't gonna win this one.

Very well played by both the teams.
4264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin prevent crime? on: January 25, 2017, 07:20:34 PM
Could bitcoin prevent crime?

I believe Bitcoin transactions via online wallets could prevent crime. People are going to use Bitcoin for legal and illegal transactions, however criminal transactions are susceptible to crime as cash is used for the transaction...which encourages theft. If bitcoin were used for these shady transactions, perhaps with escrow, there would be no opportunity to steal currency - couldn't this prevent crime? (Aside from the original criminal transaction of course!)

Only this way it can prevent crime.

However, I'm sure that bitcoin would be used more for illegal activities (such as gambling and ponzi schemes) than good activities.
4265  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is it worth buying now from BitcoinATM? on: January 25, 2017, 03:38:25 PM
As stated earlier in the thread, the ATM does not have "fees". It is connected to internet and gets the price live from multiple sites. The one i'm going to go see is selling at a preev+3% rate, which means that for 1030€ I get 1000€ worth of bitcoin. Althugh im only going to buy with 200€ total. The local bitcoin embassy sells for preev+1% or so, so gonna go check that out tomorrow as well. I'm not really looking to buy from a site like coinbase etc, because it's much easier for me to just pay the 1-3% fee than upload documents and wait ages to get my coins. But thanks to everyone for your opinions!

Well localbitcoins.com doesn't require much of information from you, just for your knowledge. All you'll have to do is to send the payment through suppose internet banking and then simply mark the payment paid.

Not much detail required there.
4266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Monero was almost Free on: January 25, 2017, 01:21:47 PM
Well Monero was definitely almost free, and I supported it a lot when it was almost 90 cents. I knew it had a lot of potential...

...but unfortunately, didn't purchase much at that price for myself! Cry
4267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zclassic, Zcash Fork No Premine, No 20% Founders Tax on: January 25, 2017, 01:11:51 PM
As for zclassic I think this. money is good, basic idea also, but the exchanges are few and there is little interest.

This is a marathon , not a sprint , ZClassic isn't going anywhere, it's community its growing every day.

Well yeah, lets increase the requests at Poloniex as well. We all supporters surely want to see ZClassic on Poloniex.

As soon as they add ZCL, we'll get some great time with ZCL. Even a little pump makes the miners mine ZCL instead of ZEC, and I've a feeling that many will be trusting ZCL and will be switching their mining setup to it. Just like I did.
4268  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is it worth buying now from BitcoinATM? on: January 25, 2017, 12:18:23 PM
I'd prefer buying through LocalBitcoins.com. These ATM's surely have pretty high fees.

If you're somehow able to get bitcoins at Preev rate, that'd be just fine. You should get them then.
4269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DASH Collapsing Monero UP on: January 25, 2017, 11:32:23 AM
Actually, both the crypto's are now at their deserving values in my opinion. Dash should not be valued more than 0.016 BTC and Monero should not be valued more than 0.014 BTC.

If any of these two is valued more, it'd be simply overpricing.
4270  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin break $2000? because of Trump? on: January 24, 2017, 10:05:30 PM
Man, Trump's stupid decisions could disturb the whole world's markets. We may witness a good pump or maybe a good dump after each of his policies.

But let's not forget, bitcoin is owned by us, not by any government, so they may have an effect on the price but cannot control it completely.
4271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Abstract Concept? on: January 24, 2017, 09:59:20 PM
Nope, quite not possible. I don't think so.

"Translator" part will fail it all.
4272  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: January 24, 2017, 04:38:19 PM
I'm a bitcoin fanatic here but I was wondering how come that Bitcoin is freedom, I think it is not, Only bitcoin can give us financial freedom and freedom to achieve our dreams in life. and it is not specify where bitcoin become a freedom?

Well i think the point is bitcoin is freedom because we can send bitcoin all over the world in easy way and fast and also anonymous. Well also because we can earn from it we can get a ton of benifits of it. Well it is not all about bitcoin or money to achieved our dreams in life it is all about hardwork and inspiration.

I don't think being able to send/receive money from anywhere in the world fast, easy, and anonymously is freedom at all. That's simply sending money without having to reveal your identity. I think the "freedom" that you guys are looking for is the freedom from the government. Ever since, we've been a slave of the government when it comes to money because they control fiat. Literally every single transaction that you made has tax, sending money has fees. Every movement of the money gives the government more money. In bitcoins, we don't have that. You can transfer millions of bitcoins and no one would take fees/tax except for the little transaction fees which costs almost nothing.

Yup, all that fast and easy process is very old progress, but the freedom from administration/government is the main advantage of bitcoin.

We're free from rules, regulations and taxes. That's what makes actual room of freedom in bitcoin.
4273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [DASH] Dash Price and Trade Discussion Thread [UNMODERATED] on: January 24, 2017, 04:13:14 PM
A great dump in last 24 hours, maybe now it's time to purchase some dash?

I've not been much of following Dash, but it's graph seems to be pretty good so I'm going to try out some trading in it.
4274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 24, 2017, 12:09:56 PM
Australia wrapped the series against Pakistan with the win and this time around David Warner smacked the Pakistan bowlers all around the ground and then Travis Head and Glen Maxwell took them to 353 and with a weak batting like up like the Pakistanis it is really difficult to chase these scores

Yep Australia win the ODI series and they win by dominating Pakistan once again. I said that if Australia get over 300+ runs that it would be tough to chase down and it was as Pakistan go nowhere near Australia's total. Not only did they bat well but they also bowled well to bowl Pakistan all out for 267 in the 44th over of the Match. Congrats to Warner on the Man of the match award.

Yup, David Warner definitely hammered the Pakistan bowlers first and then fielding. Awesome performance.

Again, Hafeez, Malik and Umer Akmal played very selfishly. Same old faces are now ruining the Pakistan's batting line up. Poor captaincy by Azhar too.

I agree with what you say, if Pakistan work together as a team then they might of challenged Australia but you can see that some of the players are playing for them self's and not as a team. It's a shame to see in a way because we can all see how well Pakistan can be as a team but they need to work as one first if they are to have success.

Warner will now rest as he sets him self for the India tour coming up. By the way Warner won the Allan Border Medal for Australia's top cricketer of the year, I thought it might be Steve Smith but Warner got it.

Well now wait and see, Australia will get white-washed in India. I'm predicting some great performances by Indian batsmen.

And anyways, Australians are pretty weak at Asian wickets.
4275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the next 1000%'er? Are the times of getting rich with an alt over? on: January 23, 2017, 09:44:02 PM
Times of getting rich can't be over in cryptos, that's the true essence of it! Tongue You get good chances often.

I think we are all trying to find that one that will take us to the top, a few that I am in and watching for a long time are:

XEM - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=654845.0
COVAL - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1652345.0
WBB - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=952619.0

Oh and Chronobank seems decent, you never know!

Are the times of getting rich with an alt over? Nah, there will always be one.

Well those four, seem pretty good. I just checked them up after your advice. Surely going to investigate them more myself.
4276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH touching cloth of $14 tonight on: January 23, 2017, 09:34:35 PM
Ethereum currently maintaining the stability with the value of ~$10, and that's what it's worth would remain for the next few weeks in my opinion.

However, currently one may enjoy little pumps and dumps trading profit. That has been constantly going on with ETH for last few days now.
4277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Would now still be a good time to get into Altcoin GPU mining? on: January 23, 2017, 09:10:58 PM
The altcoin GPU mining is definitely worth it, specially if you have a few thousand dollar budget along with the cheap electricity. By cheap electricity, I mean any price less than 7-8 cents per kWh/unit.

However, one piece of advice, do not rely on solar energy, until and unless it's well-maintained and very much powerful.

4279  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The safest wallet? on: January 21, 2017, 10:23:44 PM
Paper wallets are the most safest in my opinion. Simply create an image of your public and private key, and print it out. Keep it at a safe place. That's it.

However, do always use off-line version of paper wallet source code/software. Otherwise it may be risky to create a paper wallet while being connected to internet.
4280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: January 21, 2017, 08:20:48 PM
ZCash is probably hitting the lowest value since it's birth right now, today. Right now, I'm buying a lot of it as I'm predicting a good panic-buying for by tomorrow. The value, in my opinion, should get back up to almost 0.05 BTC till tomorrow.
