1801  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: March 11, 2017, 07:41:29 AM
I suspect the SEC will never approve the bitcoin ETF unless bitcoin users are willing to give up significant control of bitcoin to the SEC and other "regulators".

Might be better to establish an altcoin ETF in a country that is independent to international bankers & the influence of the UN/EU/USA/NATO etc.
Not for this time, but actually if there are another journey starting from this time and the bitcoin can make a lot of the countries are trying to allowing the bitcoin his community and it will change the mind of the us securities to accepting bitcoin etf in the future, and in this time the bitcoin is need more development. We are still on the early journey of the bitcon.
1802  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: March 10, 2017, 10:38:39 AM
The price of Bitcoin have exceeded the price of gold for the first time. However, this comparison is completely unpredictable. Bitcoin doesn't have a stable value. It is very volatile unlike gold. Gold's value is kinda bit more stable and I think gold remains the only true global money with a size and volatility compared to other money. Bitcoin’s volatility declines for a short period and can even approach the volatilities of gold and currency.
An ounce of gold is what you are referring to, but when we talk about market cap, bitcoin pales in comparison to how much gold's value is. Gold has its period of volatility as well, although not as pronounced as that of bitcoin's. Both are very good forms of investments, and would continue to hold value for as long as there's demand for them.

Gold in holding by many governments and big institutions so its prices are very stable and it moves quite slow in both directions. But bitcoin market cap is very less compared to gold, but it may be same or more than gold price even though many people give more value to gold than bitcoin. But for investment purpose, I choose both of them to take advantage of both markets.
You must read this article and the average volume is holding by the bank.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/timtreadgold/2016/04/01/central-banks-follow-warren-buffetts-advice-when-it-comes-to-gold-buying-when-others-are-fearful/#2f7b76e27c4c
The bank have a big role in the gold market. It's not the government or big institution but it's about the bank.
1803  Economy / Economics / Re: Good picture to explain the ETF situation on: March 10, 2017, 10:35:42 AM
If ETF will be denied, there's no need to see the price of bitcoin dropping. Whether it will be approved or not.

Still we will see the price of bitcoin to keep on increasing, bitcoin is created that way as long as there are new comers that will invest.

And if there are people that will keep on using it, ETF will just make a small difference but of course I want it to be approved.  Grin
I guess the approval by SEC is the little part of the bitcoin journey. And i think i don't like the approval caused by it seems like just a business. So more money will flow to the bitcoin and the twin winklevoss will take the advantage by the SEC approval with a lot of the partnership in the future. and they will become billionaire and currently they're millionaire.
1804  Economy / Speculation / Re: It going to hurt..! drop back under 1000$ on: March 10, 2017, 10:32:13 AM
If so it would be a fine moment to buy some bitcoins.

Loved how optimistic this guy is.
He is right though. It is the best moment to add more investment and by that it will increase its price again.
Demands right? Pumps right? There will be a lot of pump again to get it back to 1k dollars if ever that will really happen. But I doubt that it will.
Just there is a little time before we will see the announcement soon, I think to buy more is not the best decision in this time. The negative news about bitcoin etf will give a lot of the impact for all of the bitcoin users especially about the market of bitcoin. I will expect the market will turn into the panic market. and sell sell sell the bitcoin caused by the negative effect.
1805  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: March 10, 2017, 10:29:00 AM
Wait for a short time as the price decrease has taken place and moving downward. So it's good to use the opportunity and buy as much possible than selling to grab the profit.
I recommend to sell, the price looks down and this trend seems to last long. I was worried the incident earlier in the year 2017 will be repeated, that price drop from $1.100 to $800, and this is bad for us to hold, better is sell.
This is not the best time to sell our bitcoin but just there is a day until the etf decision, and just take all of your bitcoin and put them all into the exchange site and if there will another delay from SEC and sell all of your bitcoin and i think that's the best decision about our bitcoin right now, to prevent the approval of SEC, after we see about the result of SEC and just take fast act in a minute later.
1806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] eGaaS: Electronic Government as a Service on: March 09, 2017, 06:44:25 AM
Where is the signature available? I see lucky has it.
Here you go, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1674842.0 But the bounty campaign has already ended. And some of the people are still using the egass signature design. They're the egass supporters.
1807  Economy / Speculation / Re: SegWit losing Bitcoin Unlimited winning -> Moon soon on: March 09, 2017, 06:36:39 AM
https://coin.dance/blocks
OMG!! i'm updating it right now and i've got suprised. Okay, let's imagine how the rogerver is laughing right now. There are less than a percent of the gap between the result of BU and SegWit.
So, BU is for real. But i've curious about how the BU it works. So, can the miners try to run a vote about the transaction fees?

Because i've heard if LN can steal the reward of the miners and it looks like terrible.
1808  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advantages of bitcoin cloud mining on: March 09, 2017, 06:26:22 AM

1. Start hashing immediately!
Escape the noise, costly electricity bills, and warranty headaches.

2. Stable
Mining deployment on a global scale 99.9% uptime guaranteed!
Detailed statistics provided.

3. Flexible
Start mining with even just one gigahash.
Trade and transfer hashrate with ease.

1. But i will get the electricity cost and the maintenance cost. What's the different thing? But i can make
2. I don't think so.
3 Just with a gigahash and I can't pay the transaction fees. The bitcoin mining will be worthy if we can get hundreds gigahash. Every cloud mining site was offering to trade his hashrate power and i'd like to call it hashmarket.
In my opinion about the cloud mining site is not worthy again right now. I will never meet my ROI.
1809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are all bitcoins considered equal? on: March 09, 2017, 06:13:37 AM
They will not, I think some of the stolen bitcoin has got sign in into the mixer or get the btc laundering to make it being a new track and hasn't detected as a stolen amount.

They can be balked it but must prove some of the evidence and try to freeze the amount.
1810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: March 09, 2017, 06:09:34 AM
No, you should replace China with Japan now, Japanese is pumping bitcoin and the trading volume is the largest now. Japan is the bitcoin leader, mtgox was located in Japan.
And MTgox is the big fail in the world of bitcoin. But I can't replace the Chinese with the japan. Although bitflyer already made some of the big company such as mitsubishi is joining the bitcoin business with buying a bitflyer share. The chinese still hold a lot of the hashrate.
1811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BlockChain So Slow to Confirm on: March 07, 2017, 02:27:26 PM
I tried 0.00015 btc fee but it was UNconfirmed more than 1 day, therefore I had to use the accelerator, the transaction is so slow, we need scale.
the fee for transaction has been increasing lately and it's twice then a year back, for someone who might not notice they will just use the old fee that they usually submit and the result they will get slow transaction, always check the fee per byte if you want your transaction confirmed fastly
1812  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: March 07, 2017, 02:10:02 PM
Go all in? It means all what you have convert in bitcoin?
I guess it is not that recommended because we do not know the value in the future.
many people believe bitcoin will have bright future but they don't know what's in the future and have no clue, it's better for you to keep inside safe zone rather than risking with nonsense reason.
1813  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: March 07, 2017, 10:54:44 AM
Right now i trying to mining a lot of coins, i thinking its mabey its good to save the coins like 6-12 mdr before selling it.

Can orther explain about its a good point else about the risk its to high to lose to lot on it?

I mine to keep because Bitcoin is skyrocketing and it's going to go higher in the coming years so I basically mine Altcoins and then sell them for Bitcoins and then zip my walls until further notice.
Just keep them is not giving a good opportunity for you, and just try to sell them if the price of bitcoin already on the top of the rate, and just waiting for the bearish trend of bitcoin will be coming asap and i think that's the best way to trade your bitcoin rather than just always try to keep your bitcoin on your wallet.
1814  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: March 06, 2017, 01:50:15 PM
I do not believe in the Fiat, but I can not live without it. All my mandatory payments are made in fiat currency. The Government has made me addicted to Fiat.

The government has not made you addicted to fiat, your needs made you addicted to fiat. To fulfill your needs and expenses you need a fiat so you should believe on fiat until the other currency is accepted in your country.
there's many way to fulfill your needs, as far as i know that people use what they need to use in order to fulfill their needs, it doesn't matter that they use money or gold, their main purpose is just one, to fulfill their needs
1815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google Trends: a big rise in interest in bitcoin specially in Africa on: March 05, 2017, 07:12:54 AM
It's weird that most of these places they talk about do not have internet yet they can trade bitcoin.
You try to get a cell phone service in the serengetti of the African jungle before? And you expect a clear wifi signal when your transmitting btc to another wallet?  Roll Eyes

Have u ever been to Africa before? FYI Africa is not a jungle and we dont stay in caves. The fact that I am on this forum nullifies your statement that we dont have internet services and a clear wifi signal. Stop all this in-informed attacks/ bashings of the Africa continent. I am a Nigerian who makes his livelihood in a legal way.stop sterotyping us. We are not backward and criminals.
people are really getting affected by the movies the have watched and pretending that they know everything about africe while the fact they know nothing. probably these people never go to africa and so do i but i must say that majority of countries are now already bulding the infrastructures and i'm sure that africa's countries are now also doing it.
1816  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: March 04, 2017, 11:24:02 PM
You can only make money from money because you will always need capital to start any business really you want to make money.
No, you can simply offer a service and then you can earn money, earning money is not always started with capital, you can use natural resources and many more, it's just depends on how creative your brain is
, just like what many success people have done, they use natural resources to make something valuable!
1817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: March 04, 2017, 10:36:46 PM
20 years from now bitcoin will no longer be just a currency, its likely to be stock and hoping the little patches are fixed to allow faster transaction confirmations and hopefully we get to see mass adoption.
that is probably right, 20 years later bitcoin will be a rare thing just like bitcoin but the difference is that bitcoin is digital and doesn't even have physical shape.
i think that if that really happen, people who hold bitcoin will be pleased very much
1818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ZEC] Zcash Speculation on: March 04, 2017, 04:42:35 PM
There are 200 BTC+ being mined a day, the majority of which must be sold by miners to cover expenses. Look at the buy walls and you do the math Smiley

There is a big buy wall at 0.03 BTC, which should be sufficient to cover most of the coins sold by the miners. The price actually seems to be holding up at  these levels. I don't think it will drop below $30 very quickly. No dump after this pump.
But i don't know about what is the thing drive the price of the zcash to get more pump. But it seems like the demand of zcash are comeback to the market and try to re-buy again on the zcash market. But this is still ver risky to get on it. I think just stay away.
1819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: price predictions ark>? on: March 04, 2017, 04:14:52 PM
I heard later on the third week of March ark will be launched, approximately what price at the beginning of the opening later?
Let's prediction here?
No more than the ico price, but it will get a lot of the dump. There are a lot of the bounty hunters. and i think 1k satoshi is reasonable for the price of every ark coin soon. We will see the market price.
But is it the main net? or just a testnet at the end of march?
1820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can i do with Bitcoin? on: March 02, 2017, 05:11:46 AM
Sorry I don't have bitcoin now, but only collecting some few of satoshi's in bitcoin faucets which is freebitcoin.io every hour. then while waiting I read most often in the different thread section only.
actually there are many other methods than the faucet does not need capital. I think you have to read more articles on this forum. there are many methods that you can explore in addition to faucets. you can use bitcoin for anything
A lot of the similar thread about how to earn bitcoin, how to collect bitcoin and blablabla.... I've seen the similar thread like that over the multiple times.
He knew about how to run his body(work) to get more bitcoin in this day.
But we are having a limitation for use bitcoin in the different environment.
