Probably because their fiat accounts has been blocked and you can't withdrawal any fiat from there? but has anyone tried to deposit bitcoin and buy any of the alts they're trading? I agree it doesn't make any economic sense to offer $50 above the market price, maybe they are trying to pack their bags and run away?
Did you mean if there is panic buy on the bitfinex market? I can't withdraw fiat on bitfinex the possible thing if i buy bitcoin and sold them in another site. |

Maybe it possible, but what was the possible collateral you offer, if the Bitcoin bank give a high amount of loans with fair interest how they can assure that you paid it in time? I don't think so if it is possible for now but we still hoping that it will be happen in the future. Let's assume that we can take loan in bitcoins from bank, first question is how do you plan to return that and in what time. I don't have salary in bitcoins, so I would need to payback that loan in my currency. With rise of btc price, my monthly rate can be higher each month and that can be real problem. How many of us here can afford loan in bitcoins? Yes, banks will never work at a loss. For sure they will take a large commission for such a loan and a high interest for its use. And this means that the profit will eventually be received only by the bank They're robbing the lender's money. It has touched 100% interest in my country and they are like a pirate of money in my mind. I might never be touched him in my life. |

yes that is right and bitcoin is money, so it can lead corruption but i think we cannot blame bitcoin for that, as if bitcoin was not introduce they will then find other ways for corruption. but they are not going to stop corruption, as corruption is in their nature. It's not bitcoins fault, corruption has been with mankind thousand of years and I don't think using bitcoin is an exception to that. As you have said, bitcoin is money, so if greed takes over from someone's mind, people are more willing to act dishonest in return of bitcoin for personal gain. I dont think Paypal is a scam, its just that it has a high charges to users. And, many people already used this Paypal globally. Maybe people think its a scam because they find it difficulty to used the service.

I am doing that, I stored my bitcoin in my wallet for long time. Not much but I do this because I have no idea and too lazy to learn how to make profit with daily trading. I just beleive bitcoin price will high day by day, year by year.
Others that doing this, I am sure, they do have the same beleive like me.
You should spend some time in altcoin sections and look at the speculations made by people and I am sure you will get better idea of investing in altcoins as keeping bitcoins idle in wallet will never grow your coins in future so better to learn new things and start making profits. As they say buy on speculation and sell on news, you will not be able to do that properly if you are not active in monitoring the assets you are trading. Altcoins are a great investment but you have to ensure you are only putting your money on a project that has a potential future, that means you stay away from shitcoins. Exactly shitcoins will only eat away your money and won't give you anything in return so its worth to invest some time in knowing and understanding the market which will give you an clear picture and depending on that you can choose your coin for making an investment. One thing that i'm sure about it's price after ICO. It is below 50% of the ICO price which is usual for all ICO after release. Considering all the bounty dumpers and early investors release of funds. But it will be back to normal price once all dumpers finish on their stocks.

Well altcoins were always safe haven for short time if btc slows,
but I think that some alts are really alts that people will keep supporting, wont get affected by btc, like ethereum.
Remember if ethereum already included on the major altcoin which it has a big community behind it. The price of ethere always get an effect for the bitcoin trend, while the bitcoin goes to the bullish and ethereum will be bearish in the future. |

I doubt Bitcoin will reach the 1500$ mark this year. Specially with segwit, bitcoin ublimited debates, ect. Maybe for some days but it won't last long. I believe the max it will reach for this year will be around $1300-1400 but not more. Currently i am quite happy with how it is, of course i can be more happy if the price incrase, but i can't complaint...
If this year the bitcoin can be resolved his scalability problem and there will another big hype in the future. i think $1300++ will possible for bitcoin in the future. The worst thing was prevent the increase of bitcoin is the debate. |

No. Only Bitcoin is worth more than ZEC right now. Number 1 bitcoin, number 2 is ZCASH, number 3 is Byteball, number 4 is Dash and number 5 Ethereum. ZCASH to the mooooooon!!!!
