1421  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin now Down more! on: September 27, 2017, 01:02:26 PM
Looks like the Santa Claus rally is starting early. It just popped 4100 and if we get a clear break past 4210 I can see this thing back over 5000 very quickly.

now the price has break the wall, I guess that we'll soon see $3800 and stuck there for a moment until it break $5000. but one thing, as what I've predicted, bitcoin price always hit new ATH after gets pumped,\
embrace yourself guys, we're preparing for new ATH very soon.
1422  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: September 26, 2017, 11:00:07 PM
in my opinion there are a couple of things that are preventing retailers from accepting bitcoin:
1. people who own bitcoin are a lot but people who are willing to spend bitcoin are very little. this means the possibility of little to no customers.
2. price is volatile still. it has been becoming less volatile but we can see drama like blocks and split can cause bigger volatility again!
3. fees. although they have come down ever since spam attack stopped but if they go up again and remain high people will be even less willing in spending their coins.
4. things such as chain split. which are scary and nobody wants a scary currency when there is fiat.

when these change, more retailers will accept bitcoin.

You said it well. In Japan, there are now many merchants who are all ready to accept Bitcoin but sales are not yet burgeoning as expected because we all know that Bitcoin has become a speculative tool. I am sure that there would come a time when this can be reversed...we just have to wait since Bitcoin is right now still evolving.

Yes, in time bitcoin will be accepted by retailers all over the globe just like how they normally accept fiat currency right now.
This can happen in may be 10 years or 20 years only time can determine this because people have to adapt bitcoin, how to use it and more.
Reaching the point where using bitcoin becomes as common as using fiat is going to take a lot of time I think it is going to happen and I agree with your prediction but there are many unknown factors that could slow adoption, if governments of the world realize that people are using bitcoin to avoid paying their taxes or something similar I will not be surprised if bitcoin was eventually banned in many countries.
don't expect bitcoin usage will be as common as fiats if many people still using internet for only instagram and don't know shit about other thing like cryptocurrency.
I could say that majority of internet user only use their internet for stupid things, not trying to be edgy but that's true.
I always see such social media website is few times more popular than educational site, no wonder.
1423  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: September 26, 2017, 10:54:39 PM
yes , i think can.
because if a country have much poor people , then the poor people know about bitcoin and got money from bitcoin , its make a good economy for a country , i cant think if a country have a full people make income from bitcoin , maybe be a rich country in the world  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
Frankly, that's the logic of a kid who don't know what's bitcoin. what do you mean income and where does the income comes from? bitcoin is merely a currency and can only be bought.
it's just nonsense that if bitcoin could fix the economy of a country since it's decentralized, if the people in that country massly switching to bitcoin, the local fiat will lose its value, resulting a crisis.
you should think more before making such nonsense statement.
1424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Exchange on: September 26, 2017, 01:46:44 PM
Many ico here exist by giving the advantage to decentralize something, if you want the centralized one, you should simply go to some company that provide the same product in the same category.
and by the way, such project that's centralized often make an initial public offering.
1425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon May Accept Bitcoin By October. Do you believe? on: September 26, 2017, 01:36:50 PM
There is no verified announcements from Amazon but these rumors are getting serious now.
This will make all altcoins popular. Huge pump is on the way guys
I know right, no further clarification from the amazon, word may indicate that this thing merely a speculation, I wonder why people think that it's real or already planned by the amazon.
Even though, I hope that it'll eventually become true but seeing that the possibility is still low, can't expect more.
1426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kyber ICO on: September 26, 2017, 01:29:57 PM
It is really pity that I have missed their ICO.  https://tokensale.kyber.network

I missed that because I was traveling while they were having ico.
Currently the price is dumped, you can buy right now, it's the right time to do so. tbh, it's a good project because many people hyped about it but seems that the hype is now gone.
really looking forward for kyber to enter bigger exchanges.
1427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MEW Wallet on: September 25, 2017, 10:16:46 AM
You will never be safe with that basic security, atleast  buy hardware wallet which compatible to use with MEW, by that you'll have potential of saving thousands dollar while "wasting" few dollars for a hardware wallet.
by recent phishing attack which targetted to MEW users, you need to really careful when trying to visit MEW and always check their SSL and address.
1428  Economy / Economics / Re: JPMorgan Knocks Bitcoin Again on: September 25, 2017, 10:08:09 AM
It is just me or people seem to always dump when JPMorgan release a negative statement against bitcoin?
At the same time when JPMorgan just released it to press, the bitcoin got a significant dump afterward, and then after few days or week, bitcoin got pumped again, such a joke lol.
1429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could the Federal Reserve kill Bitcoin? on: September 25, 2017, 10:01:57 AM
They likely could, don't know how much exactly the federal reserve's power could extend around the world but if they just could affect this world and making governments forcefully restrict the usage of bitcoin or forbid it, then bitcoin would be doomed.
many people thinks that bitcoin will never could be defeated by any instituion or government but they might be wrong.
1430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is ICO ? on: September 24, 2017, 02:40:12 PM
Why invest in ico?
People invest in ICO because to get maximum return on their investment but it is not always true the value of tokens after ICO may decrease when it hit exchanges. But now a days ICO are becoming more like gambling and new ICOs pops every day.

Investing in an ICO isn't just about making money though. Supporting the development team by giving them funds for them to work on stuff is a method to show that you are supporting the coin.
that's the main purpose, I could say that most of the ico investors were money oriented, they expect money but also expecting the project to grow up succesfully,.
by that, they won't miss a project that could be another huge company in the future, also, if the project becoming success, they'll get profit from it too.
1431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [Trusted ICO Reviews&Ratings] Which sources of ICO ratings do you trust and why? on: September 24, 2017, 02:12:53 PM
frankly, never trust such website to put my investment into an ICO, most of them are giving their good rate only to ICOS that are paying them bitcoin. basically, not worth to put my trust on.
i'll better join some slack or telegram group and gather people's opinion about the best ICO at the moment rather than trusting these website.
1432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most successful ICO on: September 24, 2017, 01:40:51 PM
On this website you can see the ROI of some ICOs: https://icostats.com/roi-since-ico

Current top ICOs (ROI in fiat currency):
1) NXT +419138%
2) IOTA +133144%
3) ETH +92652%
4) STRAT +70425%

Current top ICOs (ROI in bitcoin):
1) ETH +14340%
2) NXT +14015%
3) STRAT +11670%
4) IOTA +10724%

all those coin are indeed among top succesfull coin but only ETH that could gain that much capital until now that significantly decrease bitcoin dominance.
If i were to say which one is the most succesfull based on many aspect, I'd choose ETH over them. It's simply thousands percent of ROI and 2nd highest capital of cryptocurrency.
1433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What a lovely day for EtherDelta. Due to Kyber Token launch. on: September 24, 2017, 01:06:38 PM
KNC is really hyped by many people, even they restricting the amount which every participant can buy they still have overwhelmingly demand.
unfortunately I missed the chance to buy at the ico rate but well, there's no point to regret about it. once KNC listed to bittrex , the amount of volume will be top 5 higher in the exchange. and guess what, the right time to buy is still right now.
1434  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I do ? Your suggestions please. on: September 24, 2017, 01:00:41 PM
I thought that there was an instantaneous decrease in ethereum with bitcoin.and after these events I thought of as a momentary decrease, I got 50 ethereum  from 260 dollars. I can not decide what to do with certain levels. Of course, it is not right to make sales like this.my mind came up with the idea of joining an ico or a going ico . I thought maybe I could save the damage in this way, but I'm not quite sure. what should i do? Should not I?I've been loss since the day. I do not want to loss any more, but I can not find a solution. I am delighted to share your ideas in this regard.
Ethereum is the second most capitalized coin after Bitcoin, so it is a good competition for Bitcoin and so at times like this when Bitcoin would be facing some fundamental issues, I think holding your Ether would be well wort it. If I may, what approach or method did you use in turning $260 to 50 Ether?
lol, as he mentioned in the first page, he bought each ETH for 260 dollars not 260 dollars for 50 ethereum and he's now happen to lost money because of the price dumping toward bitcoin and ethereum aswell.
holding eth is the best way, after hardfork im pretty sure that the price will skyrocketing, it's mainly because of PoS so, keep on HODLing.
1435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of ICO ban in China on: September 23, 2017, 02:52:42 PM
Their ban was powerful, made bitcoin dumped to 3000 usd, but now it is 3700 usd again. They can't prevent the future.
Of course the Bitcoin market will not be collapsed by Chinese people and I'm sure if China disappeared then the cryptoucurrency market will probably be more stable and will have a good future development path.
They don't have all of bitcoins, that's why their ban just temporarily affecting the market, they're now barely have capital more than 20% of total supply, all the money went to many countries with loose rules.
this ban also bring negative and positive affect to china themselves.
by this i'd say, bitcoin is a top notch future currency.
1436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrity Endorsed Cryptocurrency on: September 23, 2017, 02:34:44 PM
Just see their social account, most their fans are talking nonsense rather than talking about what they were endorsed. even advertisement is everywhere, seeing from this aspect, not really an effective way to advertise but just making the product looks popular to attract investor in ICO.
from my point of view, just wasting big amount of money to useless method of advertisement.
1437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: September 23, 2017, 01:56:24 PM
For me it is not, the fee is so high. The appreciation of Bitcoin price should reach  high before an investor could actually take notice of the return of investment when traded.
Well! You are right but I think it is not so much high the price and the profit of the bitcoin are also increasing. A lot of people are using bitcoin and they are investing in bitcoin so that they are expecting good profit so as we know that ‘no pain no gain’ so if you want fast and easy transaction as a lot of people are enjoying you will have to pay a specific transaction fees so that you will not have to wait so long for the conformation of the transaction.
I think that the high transaction fee problem and transactions getting delayed has almost been solved with segwit activation.I think that segwit has got almost locked in and that's what we all expected for activating segwit.I think that normally now the transaction fee is lees than $3.Now,we could expect even more companies to accept bitcoin payments here after.Bitcoin is still the cheapest means to send money to any part of world today.
After segwit, actually the confirmation speed is increased, and the fee is also little bit increased. This is not fair for minimum bitcoin transactions but big amount transaction, it is fair enough. Sometimes when I do small amount transaction, I too feel the fee is high, but my intention is my bitcoins should be confirmed fast, so I take it easy.
I'd agree, after segwit everything get "a little bit better" those damned exchange still set their fee approx 0.001 which is crazy. wasting $3-4 for the sake of sending a little money is pretty dumb for me
just done 2 transaction which each only send approx 10$ and the fees take damned half of it. can't be more mad for now with this stupid exchanges.
1438  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc = you make me tired on: September 23, 2017, 08:56:07 AM
You just not get used to it, you must realize from the beginning that the volatility of bitcoins is because the demand of the market and no government backup behind bitcoin.
once some news or rumours spread, it'll affect the demand therefore creating unstability in the market. a professional traders will always take opportunity inside a chaos.
1439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So low market cap is better for investment? on: September 20, 2017, 02:20:56 PM
Low cap coin often manipulated by whales because they simply have significantly bigger capital than the market itself, these kind of coins could turn into dust or barely have value within a night and it's really dangerous, maybe the price can change and gets pumped so high but it's actually illusion, you need to realize this before it's too late.
1440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me with ICOs! on: September 20, 2017, 02:09:18 PM
1. the main purpose of ICO is to raise funds by offering coin as an exchange, things work just like when you're following a crowdfunding or IPO by some company, it's to fund a startup or project to realize their ideas.
2. Investing sometimes really profitable, even if you can choose the right project, you'll have mega return up thousands percent, just see ETH and can make you lose money aswell if the project is failed.
3. Based on the devs' past experience, never trust someone who don't even have past experiences on working to some popular companies. anonimity of the devs is a big NO for investment.
