The swings in hashrate (and diff) are becoming worryingly large. I know we're not too far from the gravity well kicking in but still, sooner would've been better.

Meanwhile as expected price is going down with most of the coins mined being mined and dumped by the multipools. Expect a nice uptick some point after our difficulty stabilizes.

At first, sure. Certainly on that dump of an exchange we're heading to first. And maybe it'll never be worth something. But the odds are good enough. I already made a killing mining SMC and UTC and not selling to people offering prices that barely covered "cost" a few hours/days after launch (what's the point to go out of my way to mine a new coin then?)

Oh absolutely, I've met some good guys with 0 posts here.

But often people are too gullible, and not everything is adding up here so far. Paranoia is healthy in this crypto business, sadly.

It's Sunkubus and DemoNoids I'm looking at. They might be all right, but two trades off each other both "buying and selling", issues paying my friend over here for his 1000+ coins while they are still trading with each other at high prices.... and to top it off there is apparently no interest for lower offers when the other party won't send the bulk of it first. Could be wrong, all I'm saying is, be careful. There is no reason to go first 100% with new accounts, older account and more posts gets priority in PM trading etiquette.

How big are the amounts though?

The other guy doesn't have his money yet, not even an unconfirmed transaction on the chain as far as I can see. But his wallet thing seems to work fine when they're buying off each other (DemonNoidz - twice) at prices higher than what I'm offering them and getting no reply (indicated I won't be sending much first)

Starting to suspect that there is some potential scammage going on here. Suggest you all be careful and FFS do not send anything of value first to someone with a new account.

Oh shut up, aside from the first few minutes when they had issues (launches aren't easy you know) they've been working fine and delivering according to statistical expectation. I'm up to 4000 FRY there, haven't mined anywhere else. I've been mining SMC there from the start as well and they've been excellent, more uptime than other pools too.

They've said they will try to get compensation out within 24h, it's not straight forward because hundreds of miners are involved and the reward somehow needs to be divided proportionally for a specific time interval. It's not something you do in 5 minutes.

It's always possible someone bites, but they'd be making 5x more mining on middlecoin than what you're offering so I think there's not many around who are that desperate a few hours after launch.

Good luck with that, SMC has only ~33% less coins generated per hour and it's trading at 0.15+ per 1000 with spikes up to 0.4 - 2 weeks after launch.

Yeah. I'm not even going to bother selling anything there. Hope Coinmarket or something will pick this up before I do anything.

That exchange has no volume (DOGE had a 2 BTC volume lmao) so the price is going to be very very low on there with everyone who wants to sell going there. Don't expect many buy orders.
