Still waiting for missing WDC deposit, no ticket updates. 5th or 6th day now I lost count.

NOT last night. This is an ongoing problem. That's what bothers me most about this situation: The BS news being tweeted. Not long ago vern tweeted deposits had been sorted out but mine certainly wasn't, and when i got hold of support on IRC the picture they painted was very different from the optimistic nonsense by Vern. This will take a lot of time, only Vern himself has the power to sort this out case by case, and we're talking thousands. Rule 1 of a good business, certainly when BTC is involved, BE STRAIGHT WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS. Letting a malfunctioning site run while it eats more unsuspecting people's coins, and meanwhile downplaying the problems smells very fishy.

Over 50 confirmations and still my bitcoin is not there. What a farce of a company.
Let's watch your business go from 100k to 5mill in a week and see if you don't run out of gems to sell or people to help customers, I bet you can't imagine having to run an online store with that kind of increase. Irrelevant. If its broken, shut it down to prevent creating an avelange of support tickets you can't handle. Stop signups. Turn off the API. Then FIX IT. Seems simple enough for anyone to understand except they don't.

Waiting 4 days on a WDC deposit,
You should contact the owner of cryptsy. I have several support tickets open, I talked to John on their IRC channel and he just said "you're on the list, but it's long" and only Vern himself can sort it out. He seems too busy tweeting that everything is solved to actually solve stuff.

My deposited WDC are missing for 2 days. Was told Vern needs to manually solve each of these cases and the list is very long. What can you do....at least its only 80 bucks or so, should they go up in value before I eventually get the it will be a positive. The opposite, not so much.
My coins have not moved. They got to the deposit address and the system failed to move them from there.

Where are my fucking coins Cryptsy? 30 hours on a deposit and still nada. No reply from support. Soon we'll have a topic in scam accusations about this mess.

It's quite responsive for me but as far as I'm concerned still BROKEN since my 30-hour old WDC deposit is still nowhere to be found. Support is useless.

to be fair i think withdrawal and sometime deposit is not so bad.....trading on any busy market though is terrible.
Not so bad? It's about the worst thing that can happen. My coins are MIA for almost a day now. When I traded yesterday it was slow, but it worked. Even if it did not, you can't get coins in or out of their broken website. Fortunately I'm "only" talking about 75$ or so worth of coins in my case, just to trade a few coins I don't usually mine, but that 75$ might be worth 10 tomorrow, who knows. Giving people access to their funds should be in first place, with a working trade engine second.

There's bitcoin mining, and then there's mining to get bitcoins.
I run 9 7970 GPUs, scrypt coins at 6.2 Mhash. The past week I have made on average 0.15 BTC per day, even 0.2 on one of them. I traded the coins immediately to BTC, which in hindsight cost me quite a lot of possible profit. It's not likely to last very long, but right now a few multi purpose GPUs I bought used are outperforming many SHA asic systems in terms of return.
Probably won't last forever, though who knows. Maybe there is some self correction going on which favors the very distributed little guy mining.

Also having major issues with Cryptsy. Yesterday a couple of deposits took aaaaages, but showed up eventually. Today an auto-payment of 100 WDC has not been credited yet after 13 hours. Pretty effing annoying.
Sent 100 WDC to Bter, was in my account after less than 2 minutes.
Cryptsy support is fairly useless. They do reply, once, with a stupid excuse about increased volume of deposits taking longer to chew through. I don't think the volume of deposits has increased enough to go from 5 mins to 13 hours.

At one point I had 3 different 7970s in 1 board....didn't matter in the slightest. They all got the same hashrate at the same settings, didn't specify anything individually per card.
I was however unable to get a 6950 mining together with 7 series GPUs. Just wouldn't do it.

SBC deposits not working either, well one did, the next 2 are MIA.
I did get those 26K SXC in there, which I had qualified as worthless before, nice little bonus that.

Been playing it safe but been making 50 to 90$ a day (pool luck & exchange rates) just mining 6 MH/s LTC & FTC. Then a few hundred arbitraging between BTC-e and stamp.
Cash out all the time while prices went up so lost some money but in the current climate you don't know what the rates are going to be in 5 minutes.

Mt Gox is blacklisted from US banks. If you're trying to wire money to/from Gox using a US-based bank, it's either going to be rejected or take an incredibly long time.
To Europe isn't much better, if at all. I cancelled a 2K euro withdrawal in late July after getting nothing but BS excuses and failed promises from support after 6 weeks of waiting. At no point can they ever tell you where you are in the queue except that it's "not your turn yet". They can cancel withdrawals within seconds though. But no sir, they have no idea about how far to the front or back of the queue you are when you ask them.

Bitstamp, no problem, money arrives very quickly.
|
|
|
There are times when the difference is even bigger than that, however part of the problem here is that quite a lot can happen currently in the time it takes to transfer the coins between exchanges. If BTC tanks 200$ while you're waiting for the coins to show up on the other side, that doesn't do you much good does it... And when things calm down and the value becomes stable-ish, the prices will fall in line with each other (accounting for fees etc)

This is rubbish due to one variable - BTC price.
This is why ASIC companies are still so successful at selling devices with a negative ROI. BTC can go to a bazillion for all it matters, that doesn't mean it is a good idea to spend 1 BTC worth of fiat on a device that will return you an estimated 0.7 BTC. If you need BTC appreciation to break even on a miner you would make more money by not mining but buying the bloody BTC. I've never seen so many people get stuck in an apparent paradox. It's Monty Hall all over again.

It doesn't need to be pretty...fairly efficient with cold room temps. Anyone know how much power the stock AMD fans draw when you wind them up to 5K rpm?

Have this problem with 2 HD7850's and a Cooler Master 620W PS, if I OC the cards one throttles becouse the PS can't deliver the power needed (~400W, PS has not gotten cool air for a year, so it kinda got "broken") I advise you to take a look at your PS...
Thanks...PSU is 850W though and i'm well below that with 3 cards. Also this is on a PSU with a single 12V rail and the other cards are happy.
