We're making nice gains again on CoinMarket. Should've bought some more at 15. Oh well.

The first blocks we mined also showed up in 1 batch with considerable delay. Clearly there are some issues with the interface.

No blocks for XHash in the past 11 Minutes.... I have a whopping total of 32 coins...
I'm on 1051 unconfirmed at xhash with 6 MH (yay for using a cgminer version that switches instantly ) I saw the diff go from practically nothing to 1+ in 30 seconds, ton of blocks went by.

this is a fail coin.
difficulty has kimoto gravity well. so why not lunch it at 0.000024 like any typical coin. Early addapter are the one that make the coin.
instead you started with dificulty at 0.8.. 0.8!!!!!!!!!!!!! with KGW this dificulty went to 1,2,3 ,4 with in 50 blocks. this means that eveyone that mines will come out a loser. with only few coins mined because of this hard difficulty. mean while OP has 7kblocks *300 coins..... hahahahahaha
wow.... thought i seen it all recently. but this is an all time low.
who is going to mine this coin when it will reach difficulty 10,13 and it will pay out 100 coins t a day worth of mining?
Tell you what made the diff go so high so fast with KGW: a horde of n00bs thinking to instamine a coin that can't be instamined. When they b all clue into the fact that it's not working the diff will tank (pretty soon) and the real early adopters will mine plenty.

I found about 1000 coins in 12 mins. Not sure if that's good or bad, but too much mining right now, it'll drop off and then I'll come back.

xhash has tons of hash power, but not getting blocks... ?
Probably we did find a ton of blocks but they're not showing (yet) due to some kind of error. We must've found them otherwise the diff wouldn't have gone up as quickly as it did.

Dif rising so fast...dif 2+ already Yeah the ol' gravity well means no instamining.
|
|
|
someone with nearly 3 Ghash jumped in and out, making diff change dramatically. Hate it! This will end with Kimoto΄s Gravity Well. thats assuming we have an active dev.. He's already stated that he has implemented and tested the KGW, due for block 35000 and updated client will be released before then obviously.

Indeed...people will convert their mt gox fiat to BTC; just to be able to withdraw easily in BTC -> price spike
...on Gox. Doesn't take too long to transfer BTC to other exchanges and dump them there. There have to be enough buyers for the folks cashing out their coins happy to have gotten them out. Anyway I'm pretty sure they'll announce something along the lines of "making progress, not quite there yet, new update soon" Which would be pretty bad, I mean, it's hard to believe that any problem such as this could not be fixed by a bunch of skilled programmers in a very reasonable amount of time (not a week or weeks)

If the dude controlling a few GH turns away a bit too late we could be stuck with very high diff for a while.

MtGox finally breaking the downtrend on the 4 hour chart.
People are finally coming to their senses. The run on the BTC buying has begun - to get it off the exchange. I don't think anyone's going to do that until they actually can get it off (or a precise announcement of when it will be possible again)

Finally the solvent exchanges are successfully decoupling from Gox. Is it possible to have goxBTC at $300 and realBTC > $600 ??
Funnily enough something like that could end up saving Mt.Gox. If you're getting a 50% spread quite a few people who can handle the risk would be wiring large sums of money into Gox' coffers. Restoring the imbalance created by months of Gox leading the prices by 100$ or more. It would be a neat example of a self-correcting problem.

Hey bcp, that's all well and good, but the fact of the matter is that a US company, paid in US dollars, has no legal right to deny a refund before a delivery has taken place. If you ask for your money back, you're supposed to get it. They don't give it to you, you can sue them. How hard is this to understand?
If one was ordering goods from a shack somewhere in a shady part of Asia and paid in BTC I'd agree with the notion "win some, lose some" but the whole point of ordering from a US company and their huge price premium over other companies is some peace of mind that, if necessary, they can be held to account.

I had to add a 4th failover pool, all 3 were dead. FFS.
Try http://utc.idcray.comit is online since beginning (maybe even first online pool at start) and no downtimes whatsoever, there were some complaints about e-mail confimation process for changing payout adress but this was mostly RTFM-issue IMHO @OP why this pool isn't listed at page 1? Mining fine, but confirmation email is not arriving. Not in my spam either.

Someone is dumping a shitton into the pump at 0.00027
|

if he realy wants make price to rise he need take away his walls and dump it. or he need a few millio dollars
Not really. The whole cap is only 400k assuming he wasn't buying all along since 50k cap. Which he was. I am thinking this is going to cryptsy soon at this rate. Whoever is buying is not expecting to sell them all at this exchange with this volume, clearly.
