3741  Local / Primeros pasos y ayuda / Re: Situacion economica un poco desesperada.... on: January 12, 2014, 05:34:30 PM
3742  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Why is mining so important for all Bitcoiners/altcoiners? on: January 12, 2014, 05:32:18 PM
Yes, but what if there was a way to do it much cheaper? In future only some big organisations in Iceland will be mining Bitcoin by their super machines.

People in past were also sending paper postcards... But now they use emails because it is faster and cheaper.

There will definitely be a way to make it cheaper in the future, since less power hungry and more powerful asics will be developed. I have no idea what you are asking... If mining stops the entire cryptocurrency network would collapse.
Any more questions?
3743  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is ultimately doomed to fail (not today or tomorrow) on: January 12, 2014, 05:30:05 PM
... You are the one doomed to fail, since you have done no research at all.
When all bitcoins are mined, mining will continue, otherwise the entire network would collapse. Blocks will only consist of transaction fees. No more bitcoins will be produced.
3744  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: For Individuals looking to get into the Mining Game in 2014, please read this! on: January 12, 2014, 05:27:01 PM
If you are trying to mine for profit, then you should get out as soon as possible, since you are no different from the government idiots that think BitCoin is a "High Risk Investment Product with low ROI".
If you hope that bitcoin will eventually replace the current meaningless pieces of paper, then i take my hat off to you. Continue mining. Even if you have a very low hashrate, you are still contributing to the network.

That's all i'm saying.
3745  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Why is mining so important for all Bitcoiners/altcoiners? on: January 12, 2014, 05:22:09 PM
Well think about it, bitcoin is a decentralized currency. Instead of the banks buying paper and printing money with their machines, we "print" (mine) "money" (Bitcoins/altcoin) with our "machines" (CPU/GPU/FPGA/ASIC).

Don't treat this like a game, we aren't using bitcoins to buy weapons, and we aren't using it as a investment product either, (most people don't anyway.)

If no one mines a coin, that coin cannot process transactions, so that coin is literally "dead".

You might say we are pretending to be the government if you are stupid, but we are simply contributing to a decentralized economy.

3750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Move Bitcoin's radix point 3 steps to the right to improve BTC acceptance on: January 11, 2014, 07:28:08 PM
It's just a matter of coming up with a name that makes sense for those units rather than "millibits" which sounds dumb.

mbtc should be refered to as millibitcoin(s), following metric prefixes, which have worked very well for the majority of the world for centuries.

You think it sounds dumb? Fine. Don't use it. We won't change the entire network to suit some people who think a name is "dumb".
Try and protest that "cents" or "pence" is dumb, would the governments change it? NO. This is just a retarded suggestion.
3751  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: PaySafeCard for Bitcoin on: January 11, 2014, 07:17:28 PM
Rates are negotiable, offer one first, i will see if acceptable or not.
I don't have any yet, will have them by 20th.
then why you post this here you must wait until 20 January and then post this thread

3753  Economy / Currency exchange / PaySafeCard for Bitcoin on: January 11, 2014, 09:17:50 AM
I would like to ask, would anyone be interested to exchange paysafecard for bitcoin? The exchanges have extraordinary fees, so i'm asking here.
3754  Economy / Services / Re: Earn BTC to Advertise Bit777 & Peerbet! *Updated* on: January 11, 2014, 08:12:59 AM
...
its mean which are going to take payment in bit777 or peerbet he has double and others going with single ?

from the opening post:
Payment: 0.0001 per post to address / 0.0002 per post to Bit777/Peerbet account / With a max payout of 0.2btc

looks like a good solution...

Credit of the payments in Bit777/Peerbet causes no mandatory bitcoin transaction fees.
Additionally, there is a (huge Cheesy) possibility that one plays at Bit777/Peerbet with these funds, which increases the
site´s revenue.

Now we have to pay fees...

3756  Bitcoin / Pools / GHash.IO Mining Problem on: January 11, 2014, 07:31:50 AM
OK, first of all, please don't start screaming at me for being a "fucktard" for mining there, I am not.

I have tried mining there and for some reason all my shares are "low difficulty" according to CGMiner, it sometimes happens with BTC Guild and other pools too.
Can someone explain to me how to fix this? And by the way GHash.io says I have 2GH/s when I mine but i actually don't.
3757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Move Bitcoin's radix point 3 steps to the right to improve BTC acceptance on: January 11, 2014, 06:30:14 AM
I think Bitcoin needs a currency system reform.
Really?  Do you think that will happen any time soon?  You would be better off if you stopped wasting your time trying to change Bitcoin, and created a coin of your own.  BrasilCoin perhaps?  I can see it now! Smiley

I agree. Bitcoin is designed to replace currency, which is something many of you don't understand. If you don't like it, don't use it, create a crappy coin yourself.
3758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Move Bitcoin's radix point 3 steps to the right to improve BTC acceptance on: January 11, 2014, 04:07:11 AM
Are humans used to a non physical currency that does not exist except for transaction records? no. There is no need to change something to suit people's needs. People will eventually change for BitCoin.

3760  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BlockChain.info telling me that I have exceeded number of SMS verifications on: January 11, 2014, 04:01:55 AM
guys using blockchain.info, does it automatically log you out after just a few minutes of inactivity?   I keep having to log in over and over.   Kind of annoying.   I guess cool for security if someone happened to hop on my computer, but it auto logs me out super quick

It might not be that you have a dynamic IP address. It's something automatic. Go to Account Settings -> General -> Inactivity Logout and you can choose.
