Electrum. Or a paper wallet for long term storage.
just got electrum, but could You explain why is it safer? It uses other networks, which might be compromised, can they? It can be stored offline. So, It is secure, Oh and it doesn't download the blockchain. Not downloading the blockchain is like the biggest feature, +it doesn't have to be online.

March into their HQ? No need. They can simply send them an email.
Nah, the KGB might be monitoring Seriously tho, we cant trust any computing device. The only solution is open source hardware wallets, and encryption devices, that have simple verifiable protocols, that can sign/encrypt data we want to send/store. We can't trust the internet. The FBI can simply push a button and "seize" a website and all its servers. If they wanted a New World Order, they can simply destroy the whole american electricity grid, making a ton of servers go down and communication difficult.

CoinOrgy?! Really?! Are you trying to find someone who will set up a porn site with Premium Membership paid in BTC?

I don't like Windows Phone, but I have to say that your app looks awesome.
it's the same as Apple love/hate things, the app is awesome, I hope the Apple realize that Bitcoin is used by their clients and stop limiting users to use their devices! It's because Apple censors too much, and they are developing their own payment system, and are afraid of BitCoin.

They are 2 people? That's not true!

Ha ha, is that where it's coming from?! Doomed to fail then. Nobody trusts US hardware anymore.
It's worse! It's US company with a UK presence. All the NSA have to do is march in to their HQ, with a entourage of lawyers, demand a back door into the phone, and threaten imprisonment and torture if they spill the beans! What a joke. March into their HQ? No need. They can simply send them an email.

Immersion cooling is expensive and messy. Just install a heatsink!
Im going to buy liquid nitrogen. Its colder, and when my GPU or CPU heats up, I'll just pour in some more. That stuff is expensive and dangerous. You can easily freeze you hand, and if not, break your rig. Some guy demonstrated it on youtube. Its easy. I never said it was difficult. If you leave your hand in the stuff for more than 3 seconds, you're a goner. And it could potentially freeze your rig and render it unusuable, unless you have a safe system of pouring the stuff in.

You can, but this question is like "When will I win the lottery?".

If they manage to DDoS down a pool, another competitor would be able to get more blocks in a way, especially if a pool like BTC guild get ddosed down.

I'm using MultiBit. Do I only have to copy the wallet.dat onto the SD card?
And what if I want to restore it, but the balance is not the correct one (e.g. because I got earnings from mining, or bought something)? I think a paper wallet would be more safe, because it can't get outdated, but the problem is, I can't backup all my BTC ....
Would it be possible, to sync the wallet.dat on my PC with the google drive or other cloud services? I think this would be the best backup.
There is no difference. You wallet cannot get outdated. Bitcoins are not stored in the file.

Hello guys, I want to store my BTC on a 16MB SD card, because of shitty Windows (it's iikely, that my Windows will destroy itself in the next time again). But I have to use Windows, because of the games. It must be safe and usable with Linux too (and of course it should be free). Therefore I would use TrueCrypt to encrypt the memory card, but I don't know how to store the BTC there. What about a paper wallet, is that safe and free? I hope you can answer my question A paper wallet is safe and free as long as you have a piece of paper and a pen, and if you don't lose the paper. You might as well stick the paper into a safe.

Well, I know how to make 0.07BTC or more a week on scrypt.
