Do you have a backup of the unencrypted wallet.dat or the private key written down?

Thanks everyone. BurtW it has now been confirmed but maybe you could help me with another problem which has arisen. I tried to import the private keys of this paper wallet into my blockchain wallet & it just says 'error importing private key: unknown key format. I did it yesterday with the same private key & it worked. What could be wrong? I have tried it 4 times now & checked that I have each digit correct. I would be very worried if I thought this could happen to a paper wallet with a meaningful amount of BTC in it.
Try going to bitaddress.org and see if it works there.

well he has re rented now for a week now and last look his hashrate was 21ghs out of a antminer! anyway to determine what coin is being mined?
do mining exploits exist? im pretty sure this guy has mutiple rigs rented so he has to be making a profit.
If you are renting your rig out on the Leaserig proxy, you can't know what pool it is. If you are using the API, you can look at the pool and its coin.

For those interested (maybe me); do you provide additional data of the current situation? - Amount of visitors for the past months and trend - Current costs - Current profits - What about the BTC that people currently have on the site, will you keep it on their balance (I expect so)
Cheers
1. ~1500 per day (rising slowly) 2. Mininal - cheap VPS for 20$ per month can handle everything 3. ~1 BTC per week 4. Yes of course. This is money from customers. We are not stealing it. I own LeaseRigs.com. You're selling much too early. Leasing rigs is going to be a HUGE industry with the tsunami of new coins being launched over the next 2-3 years + millions of new crypto investors who don't have the time or expertise to build their own rigs. Something to think about. What is LeaseRigs.com??? There is no such site.

How much would it be for "1byt411"?
case sensitive or case insensitive? Give me both prices, please.

It's useless to mine bitcoins, but good at mining scrypt. The cheapest one still gives you about 940kh/s of scrypt hashing power, which is quite decent, but it would be cheaper if you built your own rig.

I'm very new to this and just want to get an idea about what mining is all about.
Pretty much anything no matter how small will help.
Thanks.

Invalid as in rejected and stales at 1%-2% is perfectly normal. If your pool has a server that is nearer to you, switch to that one. Otherwise, there's pretty much nothing you can do.

I think you are reading the stuff on blockchain.info. If I am not mistaken, you are seeing the "block relayed by" thing. As far as I know, they are blocks found by people solo mining, or a pool that blockchain.info doesn't know about.

With that computer you probably can't earn anything at all. Instead, if you bought cloud mining, it would at least be a little profitable. You can join one of these sites: http://cex.io/r/1/byt411/0/http://pbmining.com?ref=byt411You can simply buy the hashpower and start mining straight away. what cost for this = how profitable It depends. On PBmining, it is a mining contract that mines for you for 5 years. At the current difficulty, it takes around 2 and a half months for you to get your investment back. On cex.io however, you can buy GH/s and sell them at any time you like. The bad side is that the price can change. Feel free to visit the sites and check them out!

I have the following rigs for rent: GalaxyHasherOne: 450 kh/s Scrypt Mining Rig (1x Radeon R9 270) 0.0081 BTC per 48 hours - Check AvailabilityThe prices above translates to 0.009 BTC per 1000kh/s daily.I accept other altcoins, but you would have to PM me rather than rent it directly from leaserig. If you want to rent from me, either PM me or visit Leaserig: http://leaserig.net/index.jsp?fprovider=byt411I am planning to build more rigs. I would like to know if I should build more rigs with low hashpower, or a rig with a high hashpower. If any problems arise, you can contact me at byt411@hotmail.com, or on Skype via username "byt411". I will resolve it ASAP. If any downtime occurs, you will be refunded that downtime.

If there used to be a BTC bank and crashed down why there is no one more bank?
Because if you store a lot of something in a place, it's more likely it gets targeted, targeted to steal everything inside. Trust me, you are better off storing your own coins.
|
|
|
You cannot. It's like having a 24/7 live video of your physical wallet, but you cannot spend the money inside it.

Lending people your btc is the best way to lose it. Might as well send it all to a ponzi. -_-
Sir, may I point out that you are highly incorrect there? Sending to a ponzi is stupid. You send it to scammers. You might as well send it to me.
|
|
|
I wouldnt get into that, majority are scams.
I mean think about it for a second, whats the collateral? for lending, its just acting like a actual bank, when the user cant pay up, then what?
And thats even finding "trust worthy users".
Thats why everyone that lends money here asks for altcoin collateral or others, or proper collateral. Thats why BTCJam is just rubbish.
|
|
|
Also, if you double spend coins, the one quickest to confirm will get confirmed, and the other probably won't.
|
|
|
There used to be one named FlexCoin, but it got hacked. A bank isn't really needed... You would be better off keeping your wallets with your bitcoins to yourself anyway. Banks that hold a large amount of bitcoins would be more likely to be targeted and hacked.
