Hi everyone. Sportsbet.io is continuing to support the pools that are created on the forum. I think that you should absolutely take a look at the Formula 1 pool that we are going to organize the second one this year if you are a fan of motorsports.

🏁 🏎️  Sportsbet.io🏁 FORMULA 1 2023 Season🏁🏎️ Prediction Pool Discussion Thread
I’m in, my first time getting involved with the F1. I need to educate myself fast Cheesy
Hopefully we can get 20 or so signed up to make it really competitive. My first memories of F1 were as a kid, watching Schumacher vs Damon Hill with my Dad, they had some epic battles.
I think f1 its something like that for the 75% of the people, a childhood hobby that you recover when you are adult, in my case i watched F1 until the 2010 season i think and i comeback to see in the 2019 nearly 10 years after.
I could be rare if you are right. I didn't really watch all that much back in the day when I was a kid, I knew about it and I saw it here and there, and I did kept up with it time to time to see who won the championship, but I didn't watched the races themselves, certainly not live, and not highlights later on unless something super major like a big crash or something happened.

However, about 5 years ago or so, I started to check it out a bit more, to be fair my job brought me to it a bit, I was asked to check it, but after the work was done, I couldn't stop watching it, and got my f1tv membership and ever since that day I have been watching it live for every race, and keeping up with every little detail.
1902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hypothetical Question on: February 28, 2023, 12:51:16 PM
I once read a thread about someone who bet millions of dollars just because of a small profit with low odds of no more than 1.05 and he was sure he would win and could win the match, but in the end he lost, learn from that experience so you don't easily trust other people when betting , even though the results are told by someone or even the dealer, so the most important thing is to play with your own analysis at your own risk because even if it is 100% accurate I will not bet on anyone's words
That's a totally different case, the guy who bet millions on a game did it solely on the basis of the team having the highest chances of winning the match, but in the situation given here, it is that you already know which team will win, and it is a 100% guaranteed win, which means it is either fixed or there will be some kind of cheating or something.

I understand that it is always better to do your own research and analysis before betting on sports games, but if you get a chance to get guaranteed returns on your bet, I don't think anyone would let it go, and the real question here is, how much would you bet if that happens?
1903  Economy / Gambling / Re: My list of good crypto casinos on: February 28, 2023, 08:53:10 AM
I don't really understand the fact that why OP has compiled a list that says they are the best crypto casinos while having none of the ones that we crypto users actually know about. I understand that maybe he was new on the forum and didn't know much, but he should have done some research, and the casinos that we also have on this forum are pretty old, and even google recommends them if we search for crypto or bitcoin casinos. The list is pretty old, and so are the casinos listed in it.

@OP, you should probably do some more research and change the items you've added to your list as those are probably not the best crypto casinos you've listed. If you did it for affiliate earnings, then you can do that with some popular crypto casinos like Stake.com or Duelbits, or many more.
1904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 27, 2023, 06:14:23 PM
This season is surely having enough entertainment for the Bundesliga fans as right now we have three teams at the top for the title race and things are not easy for any team to stay at their current rank because all are giving their best and trying to have strong hold on their spot, even Bayern Munich and Dortmund both are clearly leading just because of their quality and consistent performance.

At bottom now we have five teams in competition for the relegation with Schalke which is currently at the bottom, but their last five matches are having surprising 7 points for them, and now they are having slim hopes for surviving because if they keep this momentum then surely we can expect better things from them and Bochum, Hoffenheim and Stuttgart are also in the worst shape with they can go down and this could be created more mess up and things could be turned into interesting shape with any team can survive and have chance for another season here in Bundesliga.
1905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this help you win when you're gambling? on: February 27, 2023, 04:34:10 PM
I know it's weird but I think it does really work. Often times I noticed that I can win easily or I can hit those higher multipliers without even trying hard but then again I am only playing for fun so I just continue betting and increased my bets until I lose all my previous winnings Cheesy. Luck does really have their expiration or should I say that house always win at the end, if you won't stop betting.

It wasn't poker is the one that I am playing but just those games which are mainly based on luck i.e dice and plinko. For a game like poker, I think we need to be mentally focused because this is the only thing to win the game unless if you are just lucky that your opponent is not really good at it.
1906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 27, 2023, 01:26:20 PM
ICC Womens T20 World Cup 2023, the big event of women's cricket ended yesterday. It started from the 10th of this month and continued until the 26th. It was a very good tournament. A few expected teams made it to the finals but didn't able to play. However, the final was played between Australia Women and South Africa Women team but most of the cricket predictors predicted Australia Women will win the match. Australia Women's threw a target of 156 runs against South Africa team. But the start of the match, South Africa Women's team fallen in run disaster in the power play and that was the main reason for the defeat.
Amazing stuff from the Australians women's as we have eight events and these ladies play their seventh final in a row with six wins amazing stuff as their quality is superior, and they are working consistently for staying at the top of table in this final which was first for South African women's things was looking interesting before start of final game, but Beth Mooney's skills help Australia for regaining this title against home team as she score vital 74 on 53 balls and this was enough for them to retain their title with second hat-trick and more challenges for their opponents in future as well.

Ashleigh Gardner takes the honor for the most valuable player of this event with her all-rounder performance South African opener Laura Wolvaardt also done good job for his country and score 61 runs, but sadly these were not enough for having any chance in this final game for them to have any chance.
1907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino games plebs like us must play on: February 27, 2023, 11:10:41 AM
it looks better than you can't control yourself at all.
because self-control plans a budget for gambling, it is also one way that is a little difficult for gambling addicts or emotional gamblers. Even though they have planned a budget for gambling, sometimes a gambler doesn't feel accepted when the budget for gambling runs out and in the end emotions arise and make another deposit to catch up on the loss.

so if you can control yourself not to break your budget commitment, that's totally true
Self-control is an important part of responsible gambling, and it's important to stick to your budget. That may be difficult for some, as emotions can get in the way and make it harder to resist the urge to make another deposit.

However, there are strategies and techniques one can use to help you stay within your budget. Setting limits or taking breaks are good ways to ensure that you don't get carried away. You can also set up a separate account for gambling to better track your spending and stay within the budget you set. Lastly, you can also ask for help from friends and family if you feel like you're losing control. With these strategies, one can stay in control and make sure one doesn't overspend.
1908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have bitcoin, what do you guys recommend I buy as well on: February 27, 2023, 10:19:40 AM
Just focus on the top 10-11 and that should be enough. I dislike XRP and Doge and stablecoins. Which leaves us with; BTC, ETH, BNB, ADA, MATIC right now, I like Avax too because the creator is a Turkish guy and I am Turkish as well so that's a bit of a proud thing for me, but you do not have to if you don't feel like that, and SOL is literally at 11th so its not really that bad down the line, you can even go as low as DOT and LTC as well, both of which is great. So a quite good portfolio of; BTC, ETH, BNB, ADA, MATIC, SOL, DOT, LTC, AVAX these ones that you can collect? That should be insanely good.
There are better coins above the 11th spot. It's only a shame that the top 10 is mostly occupied but a not so really good coins and there are three stable coins which I think a waste of slot. I think you are a bit biased about Avax because I am not really hearing a good feedback about this coin but I can't blame you much since the coin came from your own country.

@OP you already have a Bitcoin but that alone is already a solid investment. You can choose to pour most of your money on that coin and you will be just fine. You don't really need to complicate things when it comes to crypto investing. Plus some coins might only decrease your earning potential.
1909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My $300 bet won $417,000 on: February 26, 2023, 08:56:31 PM
Well, though it sounds unrealistic, I congratulate you on your impressive winnings. Your hard work and research paid off in such a big way that's almost unbelievable. This story surely serves as a reminder that with careful planning and discipline, it's possible to achieve significant returns from gambling, specifically sports betting.

I would literally be surprised if I won that big of an amount with such a minimal amount used for the bets. Your friends, if that's true, must have felt bad after realizing that they've left an opportunity of a lifetime by not following the bets.
1910  Economy / Economics / Re: Rules of Taxes on: February 26, 2023, 01:23:16 PM
This is also true in my country. But I'm sure this kind of poor implementation is not as worse in many developed countries, or perhaps even non-existent.

Where I'm from, tax laws are not that effective also. And for a number of reasons. For one, there are many ways to be dishonest with your income and you will pay only a small amount or none at all. Or you don't declare anything at all and shirk tax responsibilities altogether. Or somebody will do the trimming of taxes for you. Or you're a rich and powerful person that even government authorities won't bother you about taxes. I'm not even saying all these are illegal. After all, tax avoidance is legal.

Indeed, those who are formally employed are the ones who cannot evade because taxes are automatically deducted from their salaries.
I wouldn't say it's poor implementation but I think that is only normal and you are right that others are worse because their rates for taxing are too high. They also demand high taxes on crypto transactions. You are lucky that you are not from a stricter country because people there can easily get away with their taxes but I think this isn't beneficial in the long run.

Maybe your country is still among those countries who are slow to improved. If we think we are earning enough then we must willingly pay our taxes to the government so that we will have a peace of mind and it does makes you feel good knowing that you are helping your country to recover or grow.
1911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I gave investment advice to my grandfather. on: February 25, 2023, 09:08:08 PM
Hi there,

It's great that you're thinking about your grandfather's financial future and trying to offer him sound advice. As you said, investing in Bitcoin can be a risky endeavor, and it's important to consider the potential for both gains and losses. Diversification is often recommended as a strategy to reduce risk, so investing a portion of his wealth in Bitcoin rather than all of it may be a wise decision.

It's also important to remember that everyone's financial situation is unique and there is no one-size-fits-all answer. So, the decision to invest in Bitcoin or any other asset should be based on a careful assessment of one's financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment horizon. Encouraging your grandfather to do his own research and consult with a financial advisor can also be helpful.

Best of luck to you and your grandfather!
1912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 25, 2023, 08:04:01 PM
James Anderson getting his 683rd test wicket. He is now just 17 wickets away, from becoming the first pacer to get to 700 test wickets. Life is not going to get easier for the Kiwis, as Stuart Broad is bowling from the other end.
Of course James Anderson* will take just 15 wickets to reach his desired goal of 700 wickets as a pacer. Among the two spinners, Muthiah Muralidaran (Sri Lanka) is at the top position with 800 wickets, followed by Shane Warne (Australia) with 708 wickets. James Anderson is the only pacer to take third place with 685 wickets. However, Muthiah Muralitharan and Shane Warne have played more matches than them. James Anderson can overtake Shane Warne to the second position anytime. The Steward Board is in the fifth position, he can overtake Anil Kumle to the fourth position anytime.
These two English bowlers already have their mark in history with many achievements and things as going I have feeling most chances these both will be at second and third spots in all time wickets takers list in near future with most chances they could be also in better spots for the all-time test playing players because right now no one is going to bring them down and English selectors are also having no suitable replacement for them which is allowing them to stay in for few more years like most chances these both can play until 2025 WTC final as both are fit and giving amazing stuff for the team.

Being fast bowlers giving performance like this for decades is amazing stuff but I have still feeling like James Anderson have no chance for the passing out Mutihiah Muralidaran as his 800 wickets are still the dreamy record to achieve for any bowler.
1913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 25, 2023, 06:05:20 PM
What an amazing start by Schalke as they score their first goal after 400 minutes in play and having four goalless draws in Bundesliga matches which is positive change for them even still they are going to stay at the bottom of the league table, but things are changing in their favor as now they have 7 points from their last five games and no lost any match which is also good but still they need to do more than this effort if they want to stay in Bundesliga for some more time because they are having the worst start of this season and not able to resist against all top teams in early rounds of this season.

After 30 minutes of play both teams which are level in quality are doing good stuff and Stuttgart are trying their best for coming at level after conceding goal by Drexler in 11th minute of this match now Stuttgart which is currently 15th in league table can go down if they are not able to have fightback in coming weeks as well.

Hi Guys,

Haha! What is this? When did she post this... because Im not following her ..  Shocked Shocked

Nah, can't lie to you guys, let me check it out!  Grin Grin

Im not sure I was even "Steve'ing" then.. I remember being on my own in the office, on the weekend, on live support.. whilst a heap of people went to Watford to help "Host Mia Khalifia"

It was certainly a fun afternoon, and I can tell you one things lads...

She is a super smart businesswoman, she is sooo switched on, really refreshing that we have some brains in the "influencer" circles.

Fair play to her and Ill pass this info on to my bosses.. cheers for the shout out!

Best of luck on the punt today lads!
I do not want to steer the direction of the chat on this, but during my time as a news writer, I have faced with a ton of "professionals" turning into business magnates after a while, I think it is regarding the fact that they may make a ton of money for a very short span of time, but then would have to use that money to live until they die, rarely they go on for a decade, it is usually much shorter career, so they need to become a business master in order to use that money to live forever.

In the end, any marketing is good marketing and this would be good for sportsbet.io for sure, definitely a big thumbs up for you guys and definitely something you should look into, knowing gamblers are mostly male (mostly), I bet it will have a good impact on business lol.
1915  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: how much the budget on: February 25, 2023, 12:45:28 PM
You can get some close estimates if you do a simple google search with each section as a query. Are you planning to start a single website with all those functionalities? I think that could become quite costly and also will require a lot of developing and maintaining work.

If you are really serious, you can get a quote from developers on this forum (You can check the Services section to see if there are any developers providing services) or alternatively, you can check out freelance marketplaces such as Fiverr and Upwork to get a quote based on your requirements.
1916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Rank positions on CMC changes every bull market? on: February 24, 2023, 08:49:00 PM
I support ranking them in a different list, not among other crypto currencies, because they are not really a crypto coin, they are stable coin, which is different. So, we should have a list where it's bitcoin at first, ethereum at second and bnb at third, with xrp at fourth and ada at fifth etc etc etc, and another list just for stablecoins where it's USDT at first, usdc at second, busd at third and so forth.

This way we would be taking stablecoins out of the list that we know, but giving them their own list as well so they are not really left behind. It would work out so much better for the ranking, would allow us to see the real ranking instead of this fake one.
I think this is a marvelous idea, it would allow people to see cryptos a bit differently and could see the difference. Right now people "invest" into stablecoins because they are so highly ranked, and it would be a lot better to show the difference between the two of them and would make so much sense.

I do not think that CMC will do it anytime soon, it would basically show how BUSD is behind others when Binance is above others, as an exchange they are leading the industry, but as a stablecoin BUSD is behind many, so it's better to show other stablecoins behind cryptocurrencies as well. But if BUSD ever leads all stablecoins, we can see this happening and them putting themselves at first.
1917  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your bitter-sweet experience in trading that you can't get over. on: February 24, 2023, 07:09:04 PM
I remember the time when I was only a spectator who used to read the news and watch videos of people making trades or analysis and everything, and I've always just wanted to do it myself but never had the funds to get started. At the same time, I didn't have much knowledge and zero experience, so I was afraid of losing money as well.

But then, after some time, I managed to get together some money and make a budget to start trading, and when I first started, I made some mistakes as a beginner, going behind tokens and coins which are gaining value temporarily without knowing their background or doing any research.

I lost a lot of money at the beginning, but that taught me every lesson that I needed to gain profits later in trading. So I eventually learnt everything and then I started managing my risks and started gaining profits over losses.
1918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is your reason for gifting bitcoin on: February 24, 2023, 02:54:20 PM
Yes of course, because it's already mentioned that he is looking forward to investing in Bitcoin but we all have the same reason on why we invest in Bitcoin and that is because for the profit so in case the price shoots up right after you gift the Bitcoin, your friend might still be encourage of selling some portions of the BTC if not all. This is better than completely missing the opportunity because you know a bull run can sometimes be elusive.

At the end of the day, it was still up to you if what rules you are going to apply to your friend because it was still your money not his. Also, It will be better if you can give a little amount of BTC and give a portion of cash assistance so that those people won't touch their BTC for a while.
1919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: it will definetly save you on: February 24, 2023, 11:01:32 AM
It's true that many newbies start without a solid strategy and end up losing all their funds. It's important to understand the earning frequency and set reasonable goals to avoid losing everything. I agree that not chasing losses and being mindful of emotions such as fear and greed can be a good technique to cut losses.

It's also wise to cut off bets when it's not going in your favor and to avoid risking large amounts of your balance on one bet. These are valuable insights that can help both new and experienced gamblers maximize their chances of success.
1920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is easier to make bets on? on: February 24, 2023, 09:09:32 AM
Do sport like football betting and MMA betting carries the same risks or one is more profitable to bet on than the other? Which one is more likely to easily predict than the other? Also, I need a platform where football prediction is certain, is there any of you guys using any reliable platform?
I believe it depends on your experience and knowledge about each sport and game, and how you understand the teams competing, their previous stats, their current conditions, managers, and everything. After evaluating all that, you can choose the better side. But at the end of the day, it all comes down to luck, because even the most successful team can lose against the most unsuccessful side when luck plays in their favor.

For the best platform, if you ask, I would suggest Stake.com being the best among their competitors when it comes to gambling or sportsbook. Stake has earned its name since it's inception, and is the leading casino and sportsbook at the moment.
