2041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK fines online casino for only asking KYC from winning gamblers on: January 26, 2023, 10:33:31 AM
Not all casinos are like that (the way you describe it) but there are some casinos who already mandate KYC in the beginning and then there are also casinos who only ask a KYC for the withdrawals who are really huge.

It's also the fault of the user. They won't be shocked and complain about this matter if only they are not lazy and knows how to read the terms and condition of the online casino that they will use. That new bill they are trying to pass seems positive for those who don't like the idea of surprise KYC but I think this was very alarming if this hit the crypto casino. Many of them are surely going to be discouraged to operate. We should be careful what we wish for.
2042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin gaining this much fame despite it's restrictions? on: January 25, 2023, 09:58:02 PM
Those who restrict Bitcoin are nothing but just haters. They do that because they can't control it. Despite of it, there are still people/government/countries who allows it and that is why BTC can still be able to shine. There is no need to wonder on why BTC is famous. Well, obviously because it's a one of kind currency. Not just a currency actually but it can also be use as an asset but other than a normal asset, btc can quickly dump and pump.

This is another reason on why many are interested about it. Just be careful OP because you said BTC is restricted in your country? I might avoid talking BTC in public until the situation changes and BTC became fully accepted.
2043  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: January 25, 2023, 09:36:51 PM
Of course their goal is to take our money, but I'm perfectly fine with that.
They are business like any other betting provider and as you say it is their goal to take our money. We praise Sporsbet since they make us feel like we are getting more when we lose it here than somewhere else  Grin

And there is always that hope of the big win just around the corner. It doesn't come often but it sure feel good when it does.

Each one of us is responsible for its own money and we should never bet with more than we can afford.
Well, it is not just about making money or losing, it's about the same thing in every place so we look for a different approach. Like I can find any sportsbook in the world and ALL of them will want to make me lose so they can profit, that's the whole idea isn't it? But at the end of the day, we are talking about a place that makes me welcomed here, chats with me via steve, and gives me so much personal stuff.

Like other places may give rewards and such, but this place literally has "come watch a game with us and have some beers" as a reward, how much more personal could it get? That is why even though the end result is probably losing money here, at the very least you feel friendly here.
2044  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 25, 2023, 08:34:21 PM
I don't follow UFC so closely so didn't recognize the name and when googling him, his (half) brother is a lot more familiar to me lol (Michael Buffer). Interesting to see that mutliple big casinos keep sponsoring UFC heavily by adding new brand ambassadors.
Yeah that brother is famous for "lets get ready to rumble" phrase, and it has been around for a while, that dude is like 80 years old, hence why he is so famous, he has seen all kinds of super boxers going at it, and he was there at all times, generations of talent.

At the end of the day, Bruce is the little brother to him (little meaning dude is old too) but famous in UFC world instead of boxing world, a growing industry basically. It's still a great deal because it allows roobet to put a foot in there somewhere. They can't just take UFC because there is already another crypto casino, but they could get a foot in there first, and look where they can move next.
2045  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: January 25, 2023, 06:50:53 PM
It can be avoided of course. There are many ways if you don't want to rent on your own. You can first stay in your parents house or friends house and then save up to built your own house. It doesn't need to be huge or gorgeous at first but only enough for a person to sleep peacefully and have a shelter when the weather isn't good outside. Renting is not a waste of money as long as you don't have your own house.

Why will it be a waste when we are living on our rented house? Unless only if that house isn't good enough, I mean if there are a limited water supply and the roof are also faulty where the rain drops enter when it's raining but you can always look for another one.
2046  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 24, 2023, 07:22:52 PM
I have also got hands on some of them to play on lottery back in the days but yes in future when the prices rises we can get profits out of it as you said they are making it deflationary through burning the coins and if listed on the exchange they can buy it directly from there. But yes when the time comes we can have discussion about it till then we should focus on the main discussion about regular gambling on Rollbit.
I agree that it's going to get a lot more profitable when they get burned. Also we should remember that there is an NFT going along with the casino as well, so between all of the things that is here, it's becoming a huge ecosystem that could be built around it all.

Think of rollbit as one giant entity, and between the casino, the token, the nft's and god knows what else they are planning on doing, they are going to end up with a lot of things that they can provide to a customer, if you like one that's enough to get in, you do not have to be a gambler, just like nft, you do not have to like nft, just like the token, or just come here and gamble. All of that makes sense.
2047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 24, 2023, 03:23:01 PM
6 teams for Olympics lmao!

ICC should take chullu bhar pani and take a dip for good 5 mins. These *cukers are a shameless bunch.

BC inhe sharam bhi nahi aati aise proposal submit karne mein. Pata nahi kahan se late hai itna chutiyapa.
LOL.. I guess they don't want cricket in Olympics, but their fans are pressurizing them for the inclusion. So they at least need to show that they tried. A minimum of three medals will be there (gold, silver and bronze) and for three medals we can't have a competition with just 6 teams. And that too the ICC is proposing that there will be no qualifying tournament. So 6 teams (chosen by the ICC) will take part in the competition and 50% of them will win medals. Anyway, this is excellent news for other sports such as baseball and motorsport. IOC had shortlisted 9 sports including cricket. With the ICC submitting such a laughable format, I guess now it got reduced to 8 sports.

Also, 6-team tournament would mean that hosts (USA) gain an automatic entry. So it will be 5 full members + USA?
Now, I have no better words from @JSRAW because he already gives them proper 100% right feedback about their qualities and abilities which are they doing for the progress of this game from current update as you also mention we will have only 5 teams which will participate in this Olympics game and these will join this event without any qualifying round so look like things are going into negative way from the start and with this all we have no chance for the cricket to have spot in these games it's just for the paper work with they are not serious about this all.

Squash and Baseball having better chance for the qualification in these games because these both games having better system and things which are required for the participant countries with these associations are also doing better effort, hopefully we will be out with some respect and enjoy these defer without any better effort in next few years.
2048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: January 23, 2023, 09:42:49 PM
^  There were things going on behind the scenes that we're not privy to.  There were some write ups about the whole thing that said Perez admitted that he deliberately 'got an accident' in Monaco last season at Q3 denying Verstappen of his last run making a possible pole.  Perez got pole and won the race.

In the team radio when Verstappen's race engineer said that he had to let Perez pass, Verstappen said something like 'we already talked about this before and I'm taking my stand.'...  Something like that.  Even the race strategist or Horner won't even force the issue.  So something really must have happened.
To be fair, Perez is a great friend to have when you are driving for the title, and he is one of the main reasons why Max even got his first title. It's fine if he wants to act like this, Max is entitled to do whatever he wants, it's his decision and nobody could force him to do anything else.

But, when the time comes and he needs help from Perez and Perez just guns it and not cares? Then Max shouldn't cry about it, or if Perez needs to hold someone off, like he did with Hamilton, then he could just let them get away, then Max shouldn't cry about it neither. Because if he doesn't help Perez get second position, then in that case Perez doesn't need to help Max win anything neither, that's as simple as that.
2049  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: January 23, 2023, 08:29:38 PM
Just like myself, I barely leave my phone behind because on my phone I can remotely do what ever I want to do as I do not go about with laptop so if I am to say, I do well with my smartphone unlike my laptop which I use basically for large documents uptime and other activities which requires high capacity files to work on. I do that mostly when I am billed to do that but the rest of he other activities are done with my phone and that has me going on with it smoothly without any form of challenges. I think I am now used to it as I do regular activities with my smartphone and sometimes, I try my best to see if I can be able to execute some task meant to be done with my desktop or laptop.
I get your point, but do you also carry out your gambling activities on a smartphone? because now there are quite a lot of casino applications for smartphones that are played by people around me. online gambling platforms (not crypto) like slots, I don't know the details but they play it on their smartphones. if it's in the form of an application, of course, the interface will be good and by the smartphone screen.
He didn't clear that one out but I think it will depend on what platforms he is playing as there are some who are heavy duty while some are just lighter. If he plays on the lighter one then he will probably use his phone over his laptop or desktop. The number of non-crypto casinos are also growing in number but what is interesting with them is that most of them have an application for phones other than the web version.

This is something which are rare in crypto casinos but still I am not tempted to try them only because of this because they ask a lot of details (KYC). And it was too hassle in my side. I also feel worried when depositing. It seems unsecured.
2050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sell motorbikes to buy bitcoins on: January 23, 2023, 02:32:59 PM
Why buy another when you already have one? See? You are regretting it now. Maybe next time if you want to upgrade, just sell the old one first or just upgrade the old one (literally) by replacing it with some parts and then giving it a new paint.

I think you can save some money by doing that and you can save space as well. Your decision at the moment of selling your motorbike for BTC is not wrong but are you sure that you don't need a money in a more important situation? Allowances, foods, bills. Something like that? If you are not struggling with those then go on and use all the money for Bitcoins. You can still sell your BTC later on when it pumps and then you can keep some money as a savings for emergency use.
2051  Economy / Economics / Re: [Article] How ChatGPT Will Destabilize White-Collar Work on: January 23, 2023, 09:29:21 AM
I'm personally skeptical on the ability of machine learning/neural networks to fully replace humans. I think it's more likely that it will boost productivity by performing the more simple and routine tasks, but there will still be the need for human touch. People will lose jobs because now a professional will be able to do the work of 2 professionals, but AI won't do the work of all professionals.
I do not think so.
Yes, ChatGPT will disrupt a lot of things in the world of work, but I do not totally agree that it will have any serious effect on white-collar work.
What I think will happen will is that only those without a college degree or those who do not upgrade their skills that will be affected adversely.
Well, the next five years is not far anymore, we wait to see if we would even become half-robots then.
It won't affect their jobs but it will rather help them to be more productive at work. They can now finish their task faster with the help of the AI or ChatGpt. Those who don't have a college degree has a limited knowledge but they can also use those tools to help them with their designated tasks. In the era that we have today, it's not about the college degree that matters but it's about how skilful or wise you are. Internet and software are now accesible. We can able to use them at our advantage.

I think I am already fine to have on these AI powered tools and I don't want to become a half-robot. That sounds scary lol but that was possible. I heard inventors like Elon musk are now inventing a chip that will be implanted inside a human body.
2052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: January 23, 2023, 05:16:22 AM
1-0 Cheesy I also don't know why he be a captain this team, my guess maybe they criteria is experience, because Ronaldo experience in Europe really a lot. The man on the side Ronaldo is Talisca, this big man from Brazil which currently working at Al-Nassr is a great player, this man indeed very good and managed to score in today match. Even, when against PSG before him successfully to scored very well.

To be honest, I saw this match only short while because I saw the English league match, so I didn't see this match in full. But I see Ronaldo was very closely guarded by the Ettifaq players, they didn't let Ronaldo scored but in this match he was quite good, people at mrsool park was very happy to see him.
Criteria for the captain in soccer games is simple because here captain has to do nothing so just wearing a badge of captain is enough which any player can wear here in Saudi Arab League he is currently the most experienced player and have good time in different clubs around the Europe which is helping him for handling situation in better way jut because of this he is captain of this side where no other player has experience and skills like him and in Asia we have no special criteria for the captain in these games because mostly we need good leadership qualities in the game of cricket where captain has to do many things even giving orders to fielders and bringing bowlers on right situations which is not easy for every one.

In this match surely Ettifaq players done good job and not allowed Al-Nasser to score more goals just one was enough for them to win this game and now have top rank in Saudi Professional League, hopefully things could be beneficial for the club and this league with the arrival of Ronaldo in this season.
2053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 22, 2023, 08:18:02 PM
It was a wonderful performance from the young Indian women U19 team. Sri Lanka absolutely fail to perform against India's women. In this match they lost with U-19 Indian women and This is almost how the Sri Lankan women's team lost to the Indian women's team in an October 2022 match. On that match Srilankan women took only 65/9 and Indian girls were successfully take 71/2 in only 8.3 bowl.
As a team, India's women's under-19 team and the national team, on both sides, are ahead of Sri Lanka and have proved the same in performance.
I am happy about Indian performance but still this was expecting because now we have better facilities and structure for them which is helping them for having better quality which is helping them for having better results in this event now with this win they are at the top of their group and most chances we will have this team in final as well because confidence level is high and performance is also good which will help them for having better results in coming matches.

But one team Rwanda performance beyond expectations and having amazing results because I have feeling they were not good as they are performing and having results first beating Zimbabwe and now today these women's beat West indies which is surely proud moment for them after winning toss West Indies bat first, but all team bowled out for 71 runs with just Realeanna Grimmond was able to have score in double-digit amazing figures from Marie Tumukunde 3.3 overs and 4 wickets for 8 runs what a performance.

~snip
Haven't checked odds yet, but I think that BTTS makes sense in this game.
agree here, BTTS seems most reasonable for this match
I will go with Ajax as well, cannot see them 8 points behind, and Feyenoord is good, but I do not see them having all it takes to get championship this season, they are on top because Ajax and PSV struggling, not because they are playing best football

but AZ handicap win is probably better value today

interesting enough, Feyenoord will play at usual 14:30, not early match 12:30, which is almost a rule for this derby
Currently, we are in 60th minute of the game with Feyenoord is leading by one goal but in second half Ajax is having well control in this match and trying to have positive end which looking with their aggression after trailing by one goal and having no win after the break things looking no good for them because this results can bring them down with confidence level could be also at the lowest level.

Right now we have two matches and both are on same level with same result even now I have feeling Ajax can do one goal and steal something because they need to do this and still we have fair chance for the result of btts and draw because before start of this match I have feeling draw is the best result of this match for both teams.
2055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 21, 2023, 09:41:32 PM
After end of the first half of this season, now we have no match in this week and mostly teams are busy in their matches for the Coupe de France and in next week we will have few interesting matches which are surely going to be full of entertainment and action as we have first match between Lorient vs Rennes which is coming after beating PSG at home and Lorient was also good but now struggling and looking for the better performance in this half of the season after this match we have few more interesting matches like Marseille vs Monaco which is surely battle of the titans for the both are good.

But, Marseille is surely at amazing run and have home advantage as well after this we have Nice going to host Lille which is trying to have European connections for the next season, but their chances are not good if they are not able to have anything wrong in this match.
2056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: January 21, 2023, 06:14:52 PM
I think they have to focus on getting out of the position they are in La Liga now. Because in the Champions League, their chances of becoming champions are not as big as other better teams. Let's say, if they win the Champions League this season, but in La Liga they have to go where they have to it will be a big joke. I understand they also want to show their best here, but don't let this stop them from doing better in the domestic league.
With current form and situation in La Liga most chances they could be not able to have positive ending in UEFA Europa League because things are looking completely down for them, and they have to do positive endings in Spanish League for their survival after break they have good results and now in next two rounds they are going to face weaker sides which can help them for having out of the relegation zone first today they are going to face Cadiz and then in next round they have another easy match against Elche which will give them good encouragement and good points.

PSV is relatively in better shape, and they are at the top of the Dutch league with good results even few matches give them setbacks but still they can improve quickly and have ability to fight against tough teams so things looking easy for them in this competition as well.
2057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EFL English Championship League 2022/2023 on: January 21, 2023, 04:06:10 PM
@buwaytress really amazing stuff from your side about these 3 team's parlay I was feeling positive but sadly Watford kill this all with conceding one goal early and unable to go anything in reply.

Right now Just Watford is the concern about acca which is having small amount, but reward is big all others are doing perfectly even I was feeling Stoke will be not able to perform perfectly they are also leading by 1 - 0 at the end of first half hopefully things could be positive in second half for these all teams.

Luton and Stoke both are leading and Watford are trailing with most chances, they will be to fight back in style.
2058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 21, 2023, 02:58:03 PM
After having first ODI completely useless due to poor batting from New Zealand now we have an entertaining match between Zimbabwe vs Ireland at Harare after winning toss Zimbabwe elected to bowl which was not a good decision by them as Ireland have very good batting and with the help of good opening stand between Paul Sterling and Stephen Doheny they were able to reach at the target of 294 as usual Harry Tector also added 75 runs on just 61 balls Tendai Chatara was only bowler who done good job and take 3/51.

Now in reply Zimbabwe are in trouble because they are losing wickets very quickly and needs 66 runs on 35 balls with 4 wickets remaining thins are looking interesting but in favour of Ireland because they are disciplined and have good batting and now in fielding also doing good job which creating problems for the home side.
2059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a good idea to just register on casino on: January 21, 2023, 10:36:24 AM
If you say "to just register" that means you will sign up directly without reading their TOS, feedbacks and etc... and you are doing this for the sake of the bonus? I think that wasn't worth it. What if the casino is a scam? The bonus that you get will still be useless because you can't withdraw it or you can't win it (wager) because their games are not fair. They will only steal your information or deposits if it's required to deposit to avail some bonuses.

About the shopping and airlines you are talking about, is it offline? If yes then maybe the shopping one can be considered because you can go in the actual store and it's unlikely that a real establishment can scam you because you can just report them immediately. For the airlines, I will check their history of flights first if they are safe or not.

Man City vs Spurs tonight, let’s see what Man City are made of. Have they got the hunger & desire to chase Arsenal down? They’ve won the PL numerous times now with Pep, have the players got the fight to chase a young, hungry, brilliant Arsenal team.
Great comeback for Man City, after losing first half with two goals they managed to score four goals and dominate in second half.
Arsenal advantage is now five points but they have one match less and they play with Manchester United in two days.
Outcome of this match could make Premier league much more interesting to watch, but my bet is still on Arsenal to win the title this season.
Arsenal has a great opportunity here to lift the trophy, they are also not playing Champions League so they can concentrate more on PL than City. Should be enough unless injuries happen, Arsenal does not have a big enough bench to cover a couple of important injuries.

Spurs had everything yesterday and then blowed it away so quickly. Terrible defending from both clubs, managers will not be happy.
They do play in Europa though, so that is pretty similar. Maybe the cup is not worth as much as UCL, I can understand that but they do still play games there. It means when City is playing games at UCL to win that, Arsenal would be playing games at Europa, so they will want to win that as well and will be tired on those games as well. On top of that they are still in FA cup right?

So, they have like maybe 30-35 games left in the league and that is just the second half, that is a lot of games. I am not saying that Arsenal won't be champions in premier league, they may very well be the champions, but it is quite possible for them to end up not winning because of fatigue as well.
